I am disputing a collection account opened by ********************** on October 16, 2023, which is listed on my credit report as originating from Progressive. I have never had a contract or agreement with either Progressive or Caine & Weiner, and I have never been contacted by Caine & Weiner in any form.I formally request the following:Validation of the debt, including:A copy of a signed agreement or contract with my signature.Documentation of the assignment or transfer of the debt from Progressive to Caine & Weiner.A full breakdown of the amount claimedincluding principal, interest, and feesand the date of first delinquency.If validation cannot be provided, I demand that:This collection account be removed from all credit reporting agencies.Any ongoing collection or reporting by Caine & Weiner cease immediately.I am submitting this complaint under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Thank you for your response. I want to clarify that I was never contacted by Caine & Weinerthis collection account appeared on my credit report without any prior notice.
I would however, like:
- A copy of the **original signed contract**
- Proof of **assignment or transfer** of the debt
- A full **itemized breakdown** of the amount claimed
- Confirmation of their authority to collect the debt
I do not know why Caine & Weiner are showing on my credit report

I am not liable for any debts with Caine and Weiner. This collection agency has an account on my credit reports reflecting inaccurate info from Geico. I do not have any contracts with this collector. I called the phone number listed on the credit report and spoke with a representative back in February. I never received any documents by mail. Not even a letter providing me with the account details. The only information I have is what's on my credit report. Will submitting my call log from February be useful?

My identity has been compromised after I had learned these past few weeks from my credit report that someone has been using and changing my information eg address to multiple different addresses. I have listed & contacted these creditors to make them aware of this. All of them are requesting that I fill out a full Packet to show cause in order for them to cease reporting to my credit due to this identity theft.
