    I honestly dont get why CAINE & WEINER is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything. I never signed anything with them, and when I asked for a copy of the original application, they didnt even bother to provide it. Its frustrating because this is hurting my credit for no reason, and its just not fair. How can they just put something on my report without any proof?Account No: 1989 Amount Disputed: $286

    I honestly dont get why CAINE & WEINER is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything.     This collection from CAINE WEINER was not authorized to be on my credit report. This is fraudulent and a violation of my consumer rights and I demand this account to be removed. Im not liable for this debt. It says it was opened on 12/5/2022 for $1,252 with account numbers starting with ********.Please remove this collection ASAP and cease all communication or I will file a CFPB and FTC report.

    I requested for a personal credit in my name last few weeks ago and I got denied. When I received a copy of my credit report, I saw things on there that were inaccurate. Inquiries that are not mine were on my report as well as accounts that I never opened and addresses I never resided. I also found this account that I believe not mine:Acct name: ***************************************** (Original Creditor: 06 PROGRESSIVE)acct no. 1756****date opened 01/25/2021 balance $115.00 I am not liable for this debt and I do not have a contract with:Company: CAINE & WEINER Address: ****************************************** Tel No: ************** Police Report and FTC Affidavit are attached with this complaint together with dispute letter sent to the bureaus and the authorization for release of information. I also filed complaints thru CFPB. Please delete this account from my credit report at once.     Caine & Weiner demands $9059 (letter 4/2/2025) for Progressive Ins. Acct # ********. This debt is not *******'s a business insurance debt. I only worked for the company; I never owned it and am not personally liable for its debts. Caine & Weiner wrongly targets me, a former employee, which is misleading.I've contacted Caine & Weiner to dispute this, state they have the wrong person, and demand they stop. I'm concerned this error could harm my personal credit if reported.Desired Resolution:BBB assistance for Caine & Weiner to:Confirm in writing this debt isn't my personal responsibility.Immediately cease all collection efforts against me.Correct records to remove my info from this business debt.Confirm in writing they notified ********************* of the error.Provide written proof this wasn't/won't be reported to credit bureaus under my name, or proof of deletion request if already reported.This is mistaken identity. Please ensure Caine & Weiner corrects this promptly.

    There has been no attempt to pursue any individual with respect to this account.  There is no personal liability nor a personal guarantor on file.  The balance is owed by a business.   System notes indicate that creditor records still show the balance as due for unpaid insurance premiums.  ********** is continuing efforts to contact the business directly to find an amicable resolution.   We can be reached at ************ or ************************************************************************************************* for further assistance.
