    The consumer states that they do not have a contract with Caine & Weiner.  Caine & Weiner is a debt collector.  The debt is for auto insurance with Progressive.  We collect on behalf of our client, Progressive.  Our records indicate that we forwarded the initial letter to the consumer on December 30, 2020, to the address provided by our client. Validation has been sent numerous times. The account has been closed as 'Disputed' in our office.  We will send a request to the credit reporting agencies to have this account removed from the consumer's credit report.  This request may take up to 45 days to be reflected on the consumer's credit report.   As a 90-year-old company, Caine & Weiner wants to help consumers in any way possible.  We encourage the consumer to call our office at ************ and ask for a manager for further assistance.   We may also be contacted at www.connectcw.com.

    I'm not liable for this debt with ***************** and I don't have a contract or any type of purchase agreement with Caine & Weiner ..... I signed no type of legal binding documnts with them and they haven't provided me with the original contract as requested! i demand this be removed from my credit report!

    Our office wishes to assist the consumer in any way possible.  The consumer is correct in that there would be no contract directly with Caine & Weiner.  Our office was asked to assist the creditor in recovery of an outstanding balance.  We do not own the account.  As noted by the consumer the creditor is ******************, but the balance is owed by a business located in *******************, *******.   The creditor records show the consumer listed as a personal guarantor.   Our office has obtained additional documentation from the creditor and is sending that information to the consumer for review.  Creditor records continue to indicate the balance remains due.   We can be reached at ************ for additional assistance.

    I am not liable for the debt with AINE WEINER. I do not have a contract with 06 PROGRESSIVE.You guys need to handle this issue. This has been going on for a long time now that I have seen my information. That's messing my Character & name up as a person.They are in violation & told me 30 days when I had fraud. A identity theft with police report I had attached as well, they are in major violation.

    We have reviewed the consumer's complaint.   Our initial letter was sent November 24, 2017, to the address provided by our client Progressive.  The identifying information provided by the consumer matches the information on our file.  Validation has been forwarded to the consumer to the address in the complaint numerous times.  The latest validation was sent  March 9, 203 and June 27, 2023, to the address provided in the complaint.  Our records show no fraud report on file.  The credit reporting agencies will be contacted to note the file as disputed.  If the debtor believes this is a case of fraud, please submit the appropriate fraud documents and the file will be updated accordingly.  As a 90 -year old company, Caine & Weiner wants to help consumers in any way possible.  We encourage the consumer to call our office at ************ and ask for a manager for further assistance.     I am rejecting this response because i never received a letter to address stated in complaint , with no contract also didn't receive validation letter proving that im liable for this debt and that violates my Consumer right to privacy,  please have it removed from my credit report instead of having it disputed as that does not solve the issue

Validation was sent, June 22, 2023. ********** was requested to be sent out again today, September 29,2023, to the address on the complaint.  We would not be able to speak as to why correspondence *** not have been received. If the consumer still is unable to obtain or receive any information as requested, the consumer can request documentation via our company website: connectcw.com and use the reference account ***************. The consumer's rebuttal is that the credit has not been removed. We must report accurate information to the credit reporting bureaus. Our records indicate the charges are valid. The consumer has not provided information indicating the charges are not valid.  The contract was not signed with Caine & Weiner.  The client, Progressive, must provide the original contract.  Our office will gladly review any documentation provided by the consumer with respect to the policy, vehicle, payment or coverage specifics for this account that *** indicate the creditor's records are not accurate.     I did not consent to authorize the sharing of my non public information. The reporting of the information is NOT fair and equitable to me as the consumer. I was never giving proper disclosures or the ability to opt-out of my info being shared. I have not benefited from any of these transaction. I believe I am a victim of Identity theft. Please block, delete and remove them immediately from my consumer report.

    Our office wishes to assist the consumer in any way possible.   Our company was sent an account in an effort to assist the creditor in recovering an outstanding balance owed by the consumer.   Our records indicate that correspondence was sent to the consumer with notification of the balance and details for dispute options, and there is no record of any mail return.  Records also show that the consumer did provide payment information for the balance in full, however the payment was unable to be processed successfully.   We have not received any communication regarding identity theft.   Our office will gladly review any such documentation provided by the consumer.  We encourage the consumer to contact us at ************ for additional assistance.
