I bought my LLC renewal on 06/20/2024. This was my first time. I didn't select the correct item. Right after I did it I sent them a email. They acknowledged my email. Said someone Wil be contacting me in 24 hours. I have not heard a word from Fast Filings. Plus they don't have a phone number. I have asked for a full refund. No answer yet. I am seeking your help in getting them to acknowledge that since I contacted them immediately I should receive my full amount. Looking forward to hearing from you. There must be some confusion. All fees are listed clearly during the checkout. The fees listed on the checkout page are the fees that will be charged, and these are also the fees listed on your confirmation email. Further, we have no record of any support ticket inquiries or emails from ******************* Did you bother to contact our support team before opening a BBB complaint?
Second, we will not give any consideration to someone making the false accusation of calling us a scam.

Two days ago I was looking for ** SOS Corporate Divisions website to pay $50 annual reg. fee. Instead I got diverted to these turkeys who promptly scammed me for something I do not need.Business Response

This complaint is pretty ridiculous. I highly doubt this person has an order with **. Nonetheless:
1- Nobody can be "diverted" to us. The only want to get to our service is to either go through one of our paid ads after searching for our service, or come directly to our website. You cannot order through us without actively confirming you understand the service description, the fact that we are a private service, etc.
2- We are not turkeys. We humans who work very hard for our clients. But I will say that if cooked and prepared properly, turkeys are the absolute best part of Thanksgiving dinner.
3- We are not a scam. We have been in business over 10 years offering lots of filing services for businesses. We have well over ****** five star reviews on the web.

Mistakenly filed State of Information thru Fastfilings on 3/21/24. Paid ridiculous expensive fees $69 and State of Information fee $25 for total of $94 and thinking State of Information will update instantly. Bank checked and no updates so I had to log into www.sos.ca.gov to pay the State of Information fee $20 to update instantly which requested by the bank. Sent email to Fastfilings on 3/21/24 to cancel the transactions. Fastfilings.com processed the transaction on 3/22/24 and refused to refund and cancel the transaction. This is a scam and has no refund of business for customers. It's ridiculous expensive $94 for getting the State of Information. Our $69 service fee is displayed clearly during the process in multiple places including the landing page and the checkout page. The fact that our service is not refundable is outlined clearly during checkout and the customer has to actually check a box confirming this service is not refundable.

I am rejecting this response because:Fastfilings has zero refund policy. I need the service right away on 3/21/24 and didn't get it. I didn't sign for the service on 3/22/24 and didn't need the service as shown on the documents for State of Information on 3/22/24. I didn't authorize Fastfilings to get the documents on 3/22/24. I cancelled the service on 3/21/24 but Fastfilings disregarded the cancellation and processed the documents on 3/22/24. Every company needs to have a refund policy.

If a customer has has a legitimate issue, or we dropped the ball somewhere, we want to help. But I am not going to entertain a request that has false claims tied to it. If this customer wants us to make an exception to the clear policies, he will have to ask without attaching false claims to his request.
I will address these false claims 1 by 1:
1) The fact that we have a no refund policy is outlined in ******* clear detail during the order process. The customer has to ACTIVELY check a box to agree to the policy. See attachment 1, a screenshot of the checkout page showing the clear disclosure. See attachment 2, a full copy of the contract the customer signed off on, with specific sections pointed out.
2) The customer claims he did not sign up for the service and did not authorize the service. This is false. The customer authorized the service and signed up for the service on 3/21 at 4:22 pacific time. A copy of the raw order data showing he authorized and placed the order at this ************* are attached in Attachment 3. A copy of his receipt is also attached in Attachment 4.3) The customer claims he cancelled he canceled the service. As previously outlined, the customer agreed to the no cancellation policy.
I will state it again - if the customer has a legitimate issue or we dropped the ball somewhere, we want to help. If the customer wants us to make an exception to the ******* clear policies he agree to, that's certainly something we are open to, but NOT if the request has completely false claims attached to it.

I was on the ******* site filling up a form and Im not sure how I got entangled with this site and they charged me ****** and they keep charging my card. The claims in this customer's complaint are false.
This customer ordered our service to file for a ******* sales and use tax registration on 11/30/23 (receipt attached, labeled "Receipt").
We completed the filing service on 10/3/23 exactly as agreed upon (proof of filing attached, labeled "Proof of filing")
The filing was approved by the **************** on October 5th and we delivered that approval letter to the customer on 10/14 to ******************************** which is the email address she listed on her order (proof of email delivery attached, labeled "Email Delivery". A copy of the approval letter is attached, labeled "Approval").
The customer then disputed the charge with her bank. The dispute was closed in our favor because we showed the bank the same exact thing we are showing here - proof we performed and delivered the service to her exactly as agreed upon.
We have since then received many bizarre, threatening emails from the customer. It is impossible for us to help someone who continues to send us threatening emails that don't make sense.
I have attached 3 examples of these bizarre emails, labeled "Emails".
We performed the service as agreed upon. We delivered the approval letter to the customer to the email she listed on her order ******************************** We had to deal with a bogus bank dispute from this customer, and we have had to field threatening and bizarre emails from this customer.
So at this point, we will not do anything for this customer, and we will not interact with her unless she gives us a sincere, heartfelt apology. Without that, we will not interact with her further.

I would be very honest. The only reason I didnt get the dispute my bank told be because I entered the card number. First of all I wish this company can be truthful and honest with themselves. I never received anything from them. Not even an order number could not reach anyone since there was no phone number to contact anyone. I was on the Florida website trying to get my resale certificate as a new business owner. Im not sure if there was an add with this company and I click but I was told the resale certificate is free. When I was charged 213 It didn't hit home then. In the next morning I was checking to see if I had reached any emails or confirmation since I didnt received one the night. Nothing! I heard from this company when I spoke to someone at ******* certification department and they told me that those things happen I must be very careful. Since the resale certificate is free. They even went ahead and helped me and they are the ones who sent it to me. This company never sent anything to me nor did I heard from them. I received a message one month later when they received the chargeback. Telling me email bounce. Why would my email bounce when that is the email that is in use and valid. Only one month later did they did that and they took my money for rush filing as I remember the options that was on the site. It is not because of the company that I was not credited back but because I was the one who placed my card number in and the bank told me that. I have attached the message from them. So after that dispute. I tired to go back to the companies website. I was trying to see if there was a way to reach them. I noticed several persons had the same experience like I did and someone said the were only able to get on via a email they had in there review. I copied the email and I did got someone by name ***, he was mocking me about winning the dispute and also called me a scammer and threatened me to charge my account again which he did but my bank didnt allowed it. I also sent a screenshot of his actions. This company is lying and they are really not honest. The state of Florida tax service is who helped me and I received it in a week free of cost. Therefore they this company have not only robbed me but is lying about sending me information in regards to the certificate. Can they please show proof with the state and also the tracking number to which they sent my certificate as they have charged for a hard copy too. Also show us proof of then being the one who give me the certificate. I will call the state of ******* again to let them know labor this. They never filed anything with the state for me and I believe 213 is a lot for someone to give to a company who is not doing anything for them. This customer's original order confirmation email was delivered by email to the customer to ******************************** We also completed the filing service, and emailed it to ******************************** Proof is attached in the form of a copy of the email we sent to the customer, and a copy of the completed filing receipt.
The email bounced back as an invalid email, meaning the customer entered an invalid email address. Obviously it is not our fault that if the customer entered a bad email address. As a courtesy, we sent the customer a text message, stating that the email she provided was invalid. Her only response was to say that God was going to punish us. We attempted to assist the customer, and continued to get more bizarre aggressive responses.
We will not interact with this customer further, we will not help this customer further.

I purchased a service from *********** on the 29th of November for $213.95. I received the order confirmation on 11/29/2023, confirmation #S1169188526. As of today, 12/20/2023, I have not received any of the services. I have filed multiple inquiries for status updates and left messages which have not been responded to. This customer order our service to file for a FL sales license. We completed the filing request on 11/29, the same day they placed the order. As was outlined very clearly, it takes the state time to process things on their end once we complete the filing. It can take the state as long as 2 months to process things once we complete the filing service. State time frames are not in our control, and unrelated to our filing service.
Coincidentally, we got approval from the state earlier today and emailed the approved filing to the customer to *********************.
Second, this customer claims we did not reply to her inquiries. We received one inquiries from this customer. That inquiry was today (12/20/2023). We indeed responded to that inquiry today.
I am quite surprised that someone would file a BBB complaint within 1 hour of contacting us, and when the service was performed exactly as agreed upon. Why wouldn't the customer simply look at their confirmation email, which outlines the time frames to expect? Why wouldn't the customer give us more than an hour to respond to their email before filing a BBB complaint?

The company offers a service at an absurdly high rate for a filing that can easily be done online with the *******************'s Secretary of State at a third of the cost. This filing was intended for the Secretary of State's website, not for FastFiling's website. This company does not offer a refund, and so this is a complaint based on this fact. Refunds should be offered, since, additionally, this website uses ****** search techniques so that they are listed as the first search return, rather than the Secretary of State's own website where one can file easily the relevant documents, which is precisely what our company intended to do: file directly with the *******************'s Secretary of State. Thus, this constitutes a deceptive ploy in order to generate revenue from unsuspecting customers, with revenue guaranteed through their policy.Business Response

We are so sorry this customer had an issue with our service. However, I need to point out a few things:
1) Yes, we charge a fee for our service. Our $69 service fee is outlined clearly on the landing page, and during checkout. If someone does not like or agree with our fee, they should not place the order and agree to the fee. Our service fee is labeled as "Fast Filings Service Fee".
2) Our refund policy is outlined clearly during checkout, and you actually have to check a box to agree to the policy before placing the order. This leaves no room for someone to be unaware or confused about the refund policy, because a permit must actively agree to it before hand.
3) We do not suggest or imply anywhere that we have anything to do with the CA Secretary of State. In fact, we outline clearly through the entire process that we are a private service. The service fee is clearly labeled as "Fast Filings service fee" also makes it clear we are a private service. You also have to check a box upon checkout to confirm you understand we are a private service.
4) Yes, we advertise through ****** as do thousands of other small businesses like ours.
In other words, it is not possible to order with us without first seeing the clear fee, agreeing to the policies, and confirming you understand we are a private service. That said, if this customer wants to contact us directly perhaps we can offer a partial refund as a courtesy to show good faith. Please email us directly at **********************************.

On 8/16/2023 I was directed by the *** to file my annual report with ***** so I searched ***** and clicked on the Annual report filing. I entered my information and payment for the $75 fee. I did acknowledge there is no cancellation or refund, and I did not expect to ever have to cancel or request a refund from the ******** Secretary of State for a filing that is required by law. As soon as I hit submit my credit card notified me of a $175 charge from Fast Filings, not *****. I IMMEDIATELY contacted my bank and searched this Fast Filings company and tried to call them but their website only had an email so I contacted them by email to notify them that I thought I was on the ***** website and requested a cancellation. The following day *** responded saying there is no cancellation or refund. After explaining the situation several times in email exchanges, he offered to charge me $50 to cancel the order. So there is a cancellation policy, he just want's to charge for it. I contacted my bank again and they advised me not to negotiate, that they would dispute and charge back to merchant because I did not know that third party website popped up somehow. I emailed *** to tell him my bank advised me not to accept his $50 cancellation fee and he said he would win the dispute. In my opinion, businesses that need to deceive customers to make money should be shut down. I did not receive anything from Fast Filings, I contacted them IMMEDIATELY, and now it's all this work for everyone because they simply couldn't do the right thing. No business ethics. All I wanted was to cancel an order I had no idea was with that company. To file directly with state was structured EXACTLY the way Fast Filings was. We are sorry for any issues with our service, but I want to point out that not a single claim in this complaint is true.
1) You were not directed to us the the **** The *** does not direct people to us, we have no association with the *** and we do not do any *** filings.
2) Our $174 processing fee is prominently displayed during checkout in bold print.

I am rejecting this response because: I have attached the email where he offered to cancel and refund all but $50. If I wanted to go back to that website I am fairly certain I would not see that $100 service fee as prominently displayed as he suggests. He is arguing things I am not claiming. I did not say the *** directed me to his website. They directed me to ***** which is what I searched for to file my annual report. Somehow his company must have popped up. I did not know I was not on the ***** website. That's why I agreed to the no cancellation policy. I thought I was on the ***** website. I'm not claiming I didn't agree to that. My issue is I thought I was doing business directly with the ***** website. I contacted this Fast Filings immediately when I saw the extra $100 charge. I have attached an email showing he offered to cancel the order and just charge me $50 to cancel the order. He lied and there is proof. This is not an honorable way to make money and people should be warned about this business. There are numerous complaints. An honorable, legitimate business does not have to deceive consumers into clicking on their company's pop up links. I contacted them immediately and did not receive any product or service so he should have done the right thing and refunded or cancelled the charge while it was pending for two days. Instead he forced me to issue a charge back and waste everyone's time. I am completely unsatisfied with this company and the owners off base and untruthful response, as backed by his email.

I stand corrected, I apologize. It looks like our rep was incredibly generous and offered you a partial refund even though we had zero obligation to do so based on the clear terms. So yes, it looks like in good faith we offered you an incredibly, incredibly generous exception to the Terms, which you did not accept.
Because we very rarely do such a thing, I assumed you were incorrect. But it appears I was incorrect.
Since you did not accept our very generous offer for a partial refund, that offer is obviously now off the table.
Again, you agreed to very, very clear policies during the order process, and we offered you an exception to those policies which you did not take.
As for thinking we were the ******** state - we certainly never suggested anywhere that we have anything to do with the state. Our business name is fastfilings.com, which is prominently displayed on our website. We list clearly on every single page of our site that we are a private service, and the first line of the Terms you read and agreed to clearly states we are a private service. Even if these clear disclaimers were not present, we never ever suggest or imply anywhere that we have any affiliation with the state.
As for the fees, they were displayed clearly (see attached).
As for your bank dispute, it was closed in our favor and deemed invalid. It sounds like your bank gave you bad advice when you discussed a dispute with them. I would suggest you discuss that bad advice directly with them.
I am sorry we are unable to come to a resolution. Again, because we already made you a very generous offer which you did not take, we are not willing to make any further offers to you.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:In your response to the bank you once again were incorrect, and falsely told them in writing (attached, page 3/10) that there was no attempt by me to contact you. Well, again, the email correspondence confirms that you are not telling the truth. I contacted your company IMMEDIATELY when the charge came in from a company other than *****. I contacted you at 1:42 pm CST 8/16/23 and the information you provided my bank shows you downloaded the order at 17:40:20 PDT (7:40 pm CST) 8/16/23. It took your company 6 hours to download the order when it only took me 5 minutes to file the report directly with the state without your $100 service fee.
The fact of the matter is, I did a ****** search of "ilsos annual report" (screenshot attached) and somehow your business pops up. I never searched for your company so kudos to your SEO team, HOWEVER, legitimate, honest businesses that actually offer a service should not have to deceive customers into a no refund policy when clearly you did not render any service or product, and you were notified IMMEDIATELY that it was a mistake. Shame on you for having to make money like that. It's reprehensible. I am not disputing the fact that there was a no refund policy. The dispute is based on not knowing your company's link popped up when I was trying to do business directly with the state website.
You stated there never was an offer to cancel the order for a $50 charge - and you have been proven wrong.
You stated there was no attempt by me to contact you - and you have been proven wrong with a string of emails back and forth IMMEDIATELY.
You and your business are simply unprofessional and it appears you will say anything and do anything to make a buck.
There is a reason why so many of your reviews are trying to warn people not to do business with you.
The BBB should help protect consumers from predatory businesses like yours.
All you had to do was the honorable thing and cancel an order that was made in error. Clearly you can do that because you wanted to charge me $50 to do it.
