Hello, my name is *******I was playing Activisions game called "MW2 - Warzone" and got shadowbanned, meaing im not able to play their game, that i actually paid a fine amount of money for. The reason for the ban, is unknown to me, haven't done anything against their rules. But their report system, is so broken that players can spam report you, resulting in a ban. I purchased Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on November 6th. I have been attempting to work with Activision support to fix my issue of not being able to add friends in game. I have tried every suggestion that the standard support team has requested. Every time I have asked to have the issue escalated; I get a response back after an extended period of time saying that case has been closed. I still can't add friends in game and have made no progress since I reached out days after I purchased the game. My account got presumably hacked on the 7th January and it did not let me access my account, i reset the password and then it allowed me to play, Im assuming the person who hacked my account was on pc, I have s pc but I've only played on pc once and that was before the New Years and since I own MW2 on ps5 and not pc I never play cod on pc. I received a permanent ban due to hacks which the person who must've gone on my account and did something, please fix this issue and unban me please after many hours of grinding and getting camos I don't want all the time and money I've spent go to waste, im uncertain of what happend yesterday but a person did try to go on my account yesterday, so if you would kindly be able to resolve this issue and unban my account or even give me a temporary ban at the very least that would be highly appreciated. They do not understand the situation I am in, I told them that I have been hacked by someone and that I own a ps5 and that I do not own MW2 on pc. how can I hack on a ps5. I dont think your security team are doing their job correctly. The amount of hours I spent levelling up my guns and camos all went to waste, I even suggested that Ill change my password if I get unbanned. You guys need to fix your ban appeal and system.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have literally repeated myself over and over that I do not own MW2 on PC and that I have it on PS5, it isnt possible to install cheats on PS5, you can even track the ** or location of the time that I allegedly logged on and had hacks installed for proof that it was not me who was hacking.I would never cheat on any COD game since Ive been playing COD since MW2019 and I have followed the rules since.
Another thing is that it there are other people as well who have been hacked and they get banned and when they try to appeal it, it gets rejected.
Please, sort this issue out because I know i did nothing wrong and the fact I play on PS5 alone means that I couldnt have installed hacks.
Additionally, I cannot refund the game because PlayStation do not accept refunds.

I am filing this comply on Activision/Blizzard due to them being nearly impossible to reach and banning my account that is paid for because someone hacked into my account somewhere else . I reported this to Battle.net on 1/19/23.Battle.net is the partner that host the Activision games. I instantly contacted them to tell them that I got a notification at 9:34 pm eastern time about someone getting into my account. My friends also called me to inform me that they were playing with me but could hear me but I was never online when they called me. By the time I got home I was able to log in but wasn't able to play then a few moments later my account was banned . Now I am filing a complaint because I have the proof of me contacting Battle.net . They then told me to reset all of my information which I did but they couldn't help with the account ban so I had to contact Activision. I went on and tried to appeal but I couldn't because I had no choice but upon trying to log in I kept receiving and unexpected error message from the activision website when I tried to log in . I can't use the email on file to log in because I don't have access to that email . I could only log in with my battle.net account. I also tried to recover the account but I literally can't do anything. I had to go as far as contacting the person with the wrong email to see if they can recover my account for me . It sad that I have to go this far to even try to receive some help. I have no control over people get into my account. I would like then to fix this issue and contact me because I have spent a lot of money on this game for them just not to have the courtesy of having a channel to contact them and work on fixing their issues and ruining the experience for the customer. Yes I have been wrongfully accused and believe you guys and battle.net did not review the actions that happened and its not fair that I have to pay for someone else getting into my account. Like I said I have the notification emails of when someone else accessed my battle. net account . I also created a support ticket with them when the breach of account occurred on 1/19/23. I believe you can should of also asked battle.net about this as well since they are the third party we have to go through to play your game.

Hello, as I'm sure you are aware, Activision is a game company, specifically the one that created "Call of Duty" that I wish to file a complain for. Reason being is that I had my account put under review 40 times in the past 30 days (lasting anywhere from 8 hours to 2 days each time, for me at least) since the 20th of December. When your account is under review you either cannot play at all or are forced to play against cheaters, which I am not. The way they have the game set is that if you get 14 kills in a single game (used to be 10 a few days back) they would put your account under suspicion. Obviously I tried contacting their support on the matter and they just replied back with a copy paste answer basically saying "yes your account is under review" which I was fully aware of. I do love their game I just am not able to play it and I've spent 60$ on it that I can't refund because Steam has a 2h of gameplay refund policy which I already had when I bought the game because they have 2 games integrated into each other, and I have played the other game beforehand. I also wish to point out that thousands of people are suffering from the same issue and they are basically not doing anything about it, just sweeping the problem under the rug.Business Response

I don't know if the answer could be more perfect to prove my point. As I stated I am more then fully aware that my account is under review. The problem is that since December the 20th update they did I was under review 43 time making my account in the clear status for 2 out of 35 days. They confirmed I don't cheat in their game 43 times in the past 35 days that means. What more do they want from me?
Image provided below is just a fraction of the times I was lead to their website to check if I was under review. Notice how there is a visit every day? That's because as soon as they clear my under review status they put me right back in.

I purchased the new Call of Duty recently for 80 dollars. So far, I have put over 100 hours into it. I have been having a very fun time, enjoying it with my friends. This game has a system in place, where if you are under suspicion of cheating, you will be put into games with other suspected cheaters, or actual cheaters. This system is very flawed, because if someone were to just send multiple reports at the same time, they could get you put into this ban. This has happened to me twice in the past 3 days. If you need any information, I was live streaming the event right when I was banned.I believe that these practices are kept in the game and not addressed to make sure that they can push their skill based matchmaking, keeping worse players together, which in turn makes them enjoy the game more. This is all a tactic just to get them to spend more money in the in game shop, or spend more money on the battle pass that they have. It is all predatory, and I feel that because I have put a lot of time into video games, that I shouldn't be punished because I am better than other players.Warzone is free, and the best way to keep people playing it is to ban the best players (That aren't giving publicity to the game), and keep the worse players together. This is all just a way for them to be able to make more money. It is just ridiculous. I know this is what is going on, because they are just unwilling to speak at all on the matter. It is a real problem. They do not care about the people who are good, who already spent 80 dollars on the game and the battle pass, they just want to get as many free to play players in as they can, lure them in, and make them spend money. And I am standing in the way of that. I want full refund of the game, and I want to keep my copy of the game. If they do not want to let me refund the game, I would want an apology from the activision staff, and I would want them to promise that I would not be able to be banned.
