On March 27 2024 I can not recover my Xbox linked account. Through the support page Activision provides I cannot talk to anyone and emails are not returned. I opened a ticket and have not heard once from the regarding this matter.Business Response

"I didnt receive a verification code to make changes to my account. I have received support tickets, but no verification code has come through. I've checked my junk folder, but found nothing. It seems like activision are well aware of the issue with Yahoo and have fixed it for other people. I need my account to get the verification so I can link my accounts. All players are given the same tools to play; the developers don't interfere in this. If you believe somebody is cheating, we're unable to manually ban players, but the Security Team may enforce bans with the help of reports. Here's how to submit an in-game report:
Go to the multiplayer menu

Select Recent Players
Highlight the player you wish to report
Select Report Player

In ******* there is an organization called BBB, the Better Business Bureau is a privately formed agency that operates in ****** and *******. Its objective is to help consumers by publishing reports on the reliability of companies' services. At BBB there is a specific place to open a warning and after making this warning, BBB itself contacts the company, informing them of peace of mind and providing a solution, if the company ignore it, the BBB exposes the permission on the website and shows that the product or company is not trustworthy and this is very bad in *******... it looks a lot like the complaint here that exists in ******, but with much more prestige and notoriety.Business Response

Activision has done nothing but let me down all year and avoid any attempt at support I try to get. I have reached out trying to find out why my account was being suspended, I received no help, I sent in an inquiry about the possibility that my account was hacked, I received no help, and now finally Activision has permanently banned my account from playing Call of Duty, despite never breaking a single rule in my life. Its obvious my account was hacked and I tried to reach out but it is impossible to get any sort of support from Activision, which is why I am reaching out here. I cannot even view my login history to verify if my account had been hacked, and I know it is within the companys power to check and verify. I also know there are verifications to prove that I am the owner of the account and that they should allow me to prove I have not broken any rule. I have been using this account for years now, never broken a rule or been banned. I have spent countless dollars on Call of Duty over my lifetime and this is how they treat their players? Its actually incredible how little Activision seems to care about its players. No line for customer support and no way to get in contact. At this point I would doubt that these are even being read by real people and not just being scanned by a computer with an automatic response. I would appreciate it if someone from the company would be kind enough to actually take the time to review my case instead of just banning me. All this promotion for fair play in gaming and you ban someone that never did anything wrong. How is that fair?Business Response

I never broke any rules and without presenting any evidence how can I even believe a company that doesnt even have a proper customer support line? How does not releasing specifics protect the integrity of the game? So basically the company has stolen my money and then ban me without giving me a reason for the ban? It does not make any sense at all. How does saying you were banned for <blank> reason comprimise anything in the game? Im just going to assume it is all excuses because nobody cares enough to look into it because it was all done automatically. I've bought this game for my PC, my girlfriends PC, and my PS5.. I enjoy the ranked Warzone portion of the game, but every time I play I get put into a limited matchmaking state. Other players exploit the report system because they are angry they get beat. They report me for cheating because they are mad they lost. The results in a "limited matchmaking" state. While I'm in that state I am not allowed to get a match in raked, period. Without any evidence or training to prove anything. The part that bother me is that it last 5 to 7 days. So, effectively a player I beat who is upset can make up a lie that they wouldn't know how to even prove anyway. Armed with that lie they can get me cut off access to the game I bought multiple copies of for up to an entire week. I get limited matchmaking for like 5-6 days and I get to play 1 day and back to limited. I feel like got robbed ever time it happensBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because: I clearly understand I'm in limited matchmaking, how to check my status, and how I got the status I have. I am limited matchmaking more than not. That does not change the fact the my game is unplayable for 5 or more days because an angry player who has no experience in cheating said I am cheating. That's not fair.
