      I was provided their service by ******* at a free charge and when I tell you Id rather pay somebody than choose HelloTech, yes you heard me correct, STEER. CLEAR. They will run you around for most of the week and that is IF the technician feels like taking the job which they never did. **************** will tell you that they will escalate to a dispatch that seemingly does not exist because they can never refer you to them and my TV has since not moved an inch off the ground. How does a company full of such incompetence stay afloat?

      I am beyond disappointed with the service I received. The technician was supposed to arrive at 12:00 pm today, but by 12:45 pm, I hadnt even gotten an alert that they were on their way. I tried reaching out via the online chat, but it was so busy I waited about 10 minutes just to get through. Out of desperation, I texted the number listed on the websitenever got a response.When I finally connected with a ***resentative on live chat, I was told the technician had CANCELLED, and no one bothered to email or call me about this change! If I hadnt reached out myself, I would have been waiting all day for nothing. The *** said there might be a technician between 12 and 8 pm, and extended our availability window until 8 pm tonight. (high priority) I had to freeze my pans all day just to wait for ********** 4 pm, I got an email saying someone would come at 8 pm. Guess what? 8 pm came and went, and still NO TECHNICIAN. When I called again, I was told (surprise!) the technician had cancelled AGAIN, and once more, nobody notified us.This is hands down the most unprofessional, unreliable, and frustrating experience Ive ever had with any service provider. The customer service is nauseating, zero communication, zero accountability, and a complete waste of my entire day. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere! These people have no idea what the word "communication" means. Never again!

      The technician was polite and professional, but the actual quality of the service was awful.First visit took approximately 8 hours over 2 days, and did not complete the work as was actually requested (just installed one long Ethernet cable rather than wiring for Cat5 jacks), and HelloTech overcharged me when the technician informed them that we did not end up needing the full work that I had initially scheduled for, so I was ************** make up for this, in theory, they scheduled a free follow-up appointment, but sent the same technician! He wired for Cat5 jacks this time, but it took another 2-3 hours and they didn't end up working. He basically just said "it should be working, I don't know why it's not" and threw in the towel. I had to call in a totally separate local electrician to come and fix it, who said it was the worst jobs he's seen in a long time, but got it working correctly in like 15 minutes.Thankfully I've learned from my mistake and will call an actual professional the next time I need any wiring done. I want to be clear that I don't strictly blame the technician, I blame HelloTech's poor screening requirements and failure to adequately equip their service providers for the job.

      This review is zero stars. I made an appointment on October 8, 2025 7 pm. Tech did not show up. Reached out to customer service they rescheduled an appointment for today, October 9, 2025 at 5 PM. Left work early. Same story tech did not show up. Reached out to customer service. I told him my situation they said can I have your phone number and call you back yes you may. They did not call me back like they said they would. I called them at 6 oclock and was on hold for one hour and at 7 oclock sharp. The phone hung up on me. Please do not ever use this company. They should be put out of business.

      I used HelloTech to install some electronics, When scheduling the discount given if you "join" is hefty and seemingly worth it. Like a lot of people, I thought I would just cancel the membership down the road, and like a lot of people I did not read the terms completely. You are signing up for 1 year, no cancellations! Be very careful. The work performed itself was done to my satisfaction.

      I am a current client of Hello Tech. My contract includes remote service for my computer. I have been with Hello Tech for several years and WAS satisfied with the service I received. NO MORE! My contract with Hello Tech renewed this July, at a higher price than I had paid previously, and since then, I have not been able to reach the company. I have tried reaching them to service my computer via their website, chat, and by phone unsuccessfully. They used to be reachable 24x7, but no longer. I have called and just been left in the cue. I have signed on to chat only to not be answered, and I have left my phone number and never received a call back. I am sorely disappointed in the service...or non-service I am receiving and am leaving this review to warn others.

      I had a very stressful and horrendous experience. The operators couldn't answer questions even after multiple calls, the remote helpers would pass me from one to the other, promise to call back but never would. The tech that came out had my daughter factory default her computer and if that did'nt work told us to buy a new one (expensive computer). After a day of error messages trying to reload her computer, we hired someone else that fixed memory card and it works now. They are unbelieveably incompetant and do much more damage than calling NO ONE at all. Worst of all im stuck in a year contract paying this company that is committing fraud and scams.

      This is one of the worst companies to deal with ever. It takes at least 30 min to reach an agent. The technician who came to my house didnt set up my services correctly. I have been waiting 3 weeks to get another technician to fix my Cove alarm system. Technicians will take the appointment and then cancel. If I could rate them below a one I would. Dont use them for anything. It is awful.

      This company was supposed to install my security system. On the first day they delayed the appointment time 3 times, forcing me to wait at home and at 8pm they cancelled it. Then they rescheduled for the weekend and DID THE SAME THING AGAIN! When I called to tell them why they keep doing this, they assumed no responsibility and said we can only reschedule you again. I highly recommend you never this company for any service.

      It shouldn't be surprising why they have 1 star. So what they do which is very shady as a business is that they will renew your membership automatically without notice and lock you in a year long agreement. I even turned off the auto-renew function so that I wouldn't have to cancel it manually. They renewed it anyway even with the auto-renew function turned off. I called them and informed them of what happened. They told me I'll get contacted by "level 2" customer service. What ended up happening is I just got an email saying I got refunded and my membership was cancelled. So what it seems to me is that their business model is to just force people into these sneaky agreements and just collect payments until the customer notices and fights back. Then they'll play ignorant and just refund your money. But it seems if you don't check then they'll just continue to charge you and renew your contract. So be careful. Actually don't be careful, just don't do business with this company.
