    I have been using Malwarebytes for so many years I lost count. It is really great and I have recommended to friends and family who have purchased this at my advice. It is very user friendly . Set it up for what you like and scans everything on a set time or anytime you choose. It also scans web browsers and warns if you are at risk. Thank you Malwarebytes for an awesome computer safety program.!!!

    I am a long-time user of Makwarebytes Premium, first on the Windows OS platform, now on Mac OS. I have also been using Makwarebytes Privacy VPN for about a year. The application meets my expectations and I have no reason to change providers. I definitely recommend the Malwarbytes solution to everyone.

    Malware bytes helped remove a nasty virus that hijacked my chrome browser - stupid ad popus just wont stop appearing randomly. I thought Im safe with MCAFEE antivirus that came with my new laptop - NOPE!! Took it to a local PC repair shop and the tech there helped cleaning my laptop with Malware Bytes, It was apparently some browser extension that does crypto mining thing. He said ******* Bytes specializes in removing viruses that others miss. Now I feel safe he also installed Malware Bytes browser protection that blocks any bad links I may accidentally click - a wonderful benefit with the amount of spam email I get. He also recommended I use Malware Bytes phone app that blocks spam calls and text messages.

    Business Name: Malwarebytes Inc.Website: ************************************** Complaint Type: **************** / Product Support Issue Complaint Summary (short version for BBB field):No live support available; automated chatbot and support ticket system fail to respond.Complaint Details (full description):I am filing this complaint regarding Malwarebytes lack of accessible customer support. The companys website directs all users to an automated chatbot, which only provides basic scripted responses and does not connect users to a human representative.After following the prompts and creating a support ticket, I never received any acknowledgment or follow-up communication. There appears to be no working toll-free number, email, or live-chat option to reach a real person for help with paid Malwarebytes services.This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional for a cybersecurity company that promotes trust and reliability. It is unacceptable that customers who pay for protection software have no reliable way to obtain timely assistance when needed.Desired Outcome:I would like Malwarebytes to acknowledge and respond to my previously submitted support ticket.I would like the company to provide a real customer support optionsuch as a toll-free phone number or live chat with an actual agentfor paid customers.Supporting Notes:I am a paying customer and simply want accessible, effective support. The current chatbot-only system does not meet reasonable customer service standards.

    I have used Malwarebytes on my laptops for at least a decade, in the beginning a free version, then a paid version and now have two laptops, each with Malwarebytes ***s - one has the ultimate identity protection; the other one is protection through the *** but I use that Windows 10 laptop as a spare only, no banking or transactions on it. I like that I can change/update my location and have privacy, block advertising and feel safe to be on the internet in 2025 when there seems to be data breaches all the time. I also was part of the ********* breach, not only for my landline, but also my cellphone ... both with **** and no, **** did NOT offer any type of credit monitoring and they did not advise about the breach for a long time ... this was what prompted me to upgrade to the enhanced protection. You can never be too careful.

    Malwarebytes is the WORST software I have ever encountered. I just spent two hours trying to get a ***** 5 seat premium license reactivated and I have valid invoice, reference number, and all else showing it is good until 06/05/2026. I cannot get through their AI Bots, their childishly stupid software pages, the help is useless, and I cannot find any activation or MB codes email from that 06/06/2025 purchase. I called the 408 number and it too is useless and doesn't do a thing without a ticket, that their incredibly badly designed software cannot generate. Unresponsive with no capability of receiving help for a personal user with proof of payment. I have all 5 of my laptops not being able to use the software except for the free version. Do not do business with MalwareBytes. They are, realistically, the worst company in the software business with atrocious customer support.

    **************** is the worse I have ever dealt with, I took advantage of the free 1 week special. I was told I had until the 4th of August. When I went to cancel on the 4th they already taken a years membership out of my account. I called customer service for a refund 6 times. 3 times I was put on a never ending hold, 2 times would answer and then immediately hang up. The last time I was called a fu##ing bit##. Each time got to speak to someone I asked to speak to a supervisor and that got me nowhere. The irony of the whole thing is that the product did not resolve my problem

    Wanted the free version. Somehow, was taken to the version that costs $84.73. Immediately wrote Malwarebytes demanding the subscription be invalidated and my charge card reimbursed. That was June 27. I have badgered them every day since, with no response whatsoever. My error but there should be a way to cancel the purchase and get my money back.
