Education.com is NOT returning my email requests on their contact page to stop charging my credit card account. I am no longer a teacher therefore no longer need the service yet I am unable to cancel my subscription. I no longer have access to my former school email either to make changes. All I want is confirmation from Education.com that they have stopped trying to renew my subscription and that they will no longer attempt to charge my credit card $119.88.Business Response

Date: 12/31/23 Amount: $119.88 Transaction: I did not have the account on auto renew. I tried canceling auto renew several times and each time the website conveniently did NOT cancel my subscription and auto renewed on 12/31/23 and charged my credit card. I tried to cancel online and the website did not take the cancelation and kept it on auto renew. Each time I canceled, the website didn't process the cancelation and kept it on auto renew.Resolution: I want to cancel the auto renew, cancel the subscription and get a refund for the $119.88.Business Response

In October 2022 we cancelled our subscription to Education.com. In October 2023 we received a renewal without our permission. After writing at least 5 emails through the Education.com website we still have not received any response. There is no other option to contact Education.com except through their website. I even tried calling the parent company, IXL Learning and they couldn't help me.Business Response

Education.com renewed my membership without my permission. The card on file that they used expired 7/2020. I tried contacting them several times. without a response. The company does not respond to emails, nor do they have a phone that they can be contacted at. I am also unable to remove my credit card from their website. I want my money refunded, and I want my credit card removed from their system. I want other teacher to be made aware of this company's scheme.Business Response

We are happy to issue the refund back to your credit card as soon as our bank allows. Since a dispute was filed through your bank, the dispute process needs to be completed before our system will allow us to proceed with the refund. While you received the decision from your bank, the dispute decision has not been resolved by our bank. As soon as the dispute status changes, we will submit the refund for you. I had the premium subscription when I was in the classroom two years ago. I am not in the classroom. After being auto charged last year I cancelled the account. I was just charged for a full year again over a 100 dollars. I see this is a common issue among other BBB complaints. That is a lot of money to be charged when you do not use the service and it shouldve have been cancelled.Business Response
