On Saturday 2/17/24 I called who I thought was ****** to cancel my subscription. This company misrepresented who they were in an ad on ******* Jinigram never told me they were not ******. I don't know if I was given the real McAfee product or if this was a total scam. They also had me download a search engine which I find odd. After being charged $180.00 I called back within a hour requesting a refund after ending the phone call. I was not given a refund as I was told the cancellation fee would be more than the $180.00 I already paid. I received no technical assistance other than being told how to install their products.I simply want to be refunded. I contested the charges and canceled my credit card due to the worry more charges would be applied to my credit card. However I suspect Jinigram knows how to beat the system and the charges are back on my credit card account.I have never contested a single charge in my life until Jinigram or something Fox.The employees of this company argue when I asked for a refund and when they wanted me to respond to a email called me literally 5 times in ***** minutes. I suspect responding to the email was part of the scam process as they told me what I had to say.Business Response

I have had an account with ******* for anti-virus protection in the past. Yesterday, (1/4/24) I got a call from someone ("****") purporting to be *******, telling me I owed them $276 for auto-renewal. I replied that I had already cancelled my subscription and had moved on to a different company. Then the person insisted that I owed the renewal fee because I was "outside the 60 day window," which is untrue. He kept me on hold for a long time and said there was no evidence of cancellation. He got aggressive when I said that I had never agreed to auto-renewal and had explicitly cancelled my services. Finally, "****" told me that I could cancel everything for a "small processing fee" of $9.99 and asked for my credit card information. He then sent three rapid e mails and told me to confirm them. One contained something I could download onto my computer, but my Norton malware protection system alerted me to the fact that this is not secure.I then noticed that the e mail was not from McKaffee at all but from Qikbay Jinigram LLC.I have since contacted my bank and have been told that Jinigram has tried to access my credit card since yesterday. My bank has been alerted to fraud and is not going to process any charges made by them.I wish to alert people that entities such as this one are committing fraud pretending to be *******. THEY initiated the call, I did not.Business Response
