      Zero tech support unless you want to shell out another $150+. Its an actual scam, and the fact that theyre still allowed to operate in ***************** is incredible to me. I purchased a professional grade product and I magically cant get firmware updates on it unless I pay them essentially the equivalent amount for a new device. I cant recommend enough avoiding this company and their products. I will never be a customer of theirs again.

      my wifi is constantly 4mbps, the highest ive ever seen it go is 15mbps, we used another company less than a mile away and had speeds around 500mbps

      Tried to steal money from me. I have email confirmation i cancel renewal. Yet they charged me anyway. Now I have to wait 7 days for it to be back in my account.

      the absolute WORST customer service experience I have EVER had, HANDS DOWN! unbelieveable! They have been stringing me along for 2 years, it's like a literal scam. I even paid like $300 extra for real customer service and I still got NOTHING out of it, literally NOTHING! Why can't I give negative stars? even 1 star is WAY too much!

      Netgear needs to be sued. Im reading all of the negative reviews and absolutely understand why they are negative. I spent $400 on the Nighthawk M1 mobile router, in April 2023. It stopped working in October 2023. After 2 hours on the phone with tech support, they decided that the hardware was defective so they sent me a new router.After receiving the new router, it stopped working within 5 minutes of powering it on. This is absolutely absurd from a company who boasts such high standards and high quality products. My experience with Netgear has been the worst experience Ive ever encountered with any company. Also, the fact that you cant get clear answers from anyone is a huge problem. Im looking into suing this company for lost time, work, stress and FALSE ADVERTISING!! I currently have a claim started with my bank to get my money back and you should too. NetGear has a huge responsibility of paying us back for c*** products and instead they give you an answering machine that tells you to leave a message upon calling their corporate number. Absolutely fraudulent and absurd.

      Wish I had read reviews before purchasing. My experience mirrors so many of the reviews before me. Bottom line is their product quality is terrible as so many like myself have issues after the initial "Complimentary" Support period is over. Then they say you have to pay for their premium tech support before they will help? Products as expensive as these routers should last longer than just a year before having quality problems to begin with. We wouldn't need the tech support if the products were robust and of good quality. Heck, it's not like a car with wear and tear parts that have to be replaced over time. My router just hung on the wall for year, then just stopped working. They must get a great deal of one-time customers as I'll never buy this brand again. Buyer beware with this company as everyone will have problems unless you keep throwing good money after bad to fix their crappy products after initial purchase. They have a good business plan if the world were made up of suckers. Fool me once shame on you, fool twice shame on me.

      I'm not happy with netgear I purchased an cax80 6 months ago wifi stopped working I talked to technical support they want me to hook up the modem so they can link to it I'm sorry it's a pain in the behind to set it back up through ******* so i did it anyway and netgear wants me to connect to the wifi and as soon as I try to connect to wifi it says connected but without internet and then I lose connection with tech support and when I re contact netgear I get a new agent and have to repeat everything over again just to have the same issues and they keep closing my case and tell me I need to hook everything back up what a waste of time and money

      Bought a new Router and right from the start had conection issues , Sites blocked and couldn't get the wifi to work with tablets and lap tops, 8 agents and hung up on 3 of they as 3 off us couldn't understand them . When you call back even with a case number they make you go through the whole process again. I think the want to wear you down so you just give up.I am tossing it in the trash and go get one from my internet provider.

      Purchased the CM2000. The modem never worked properly, and customer support kept giving the runaround (check ISP, check router, etc). By the time everything was checked and it was clear the modem was at fault, the 30 day return window closed and they refuse to allow me to return the defective product. They will only replace with same model which I no longer trust. Do not recommend

      I had the same experience! They seemingly cut off your service citing firmware. Honestly theyre stealing. A modem lasting less than 2 years at $170 is insane. DO NOT BUY NETGEAR!!! Theyre willfully and intentionally stealing in order to sell their protection plans. Please will some government agency investigate and compensate customers for this practice!!
