10/30/2022 My Mother's Debit card on a Joint account with me ending in **** Name On Card *********************** issued at **************** ************* Branch *************************************************************************************************** ********** information was skimmed or Physically Stolen by copying six charges back to back for UDEMY Online Courses were made starting ****** $****** 19:16 Hours a second. POS 19:21 $****** 2 POS charges 19:28 Hours each ****** 2 POS charges 20:21 Hours each ****** also related Cross Border fees from WAN ChI ** Have been charges all with in the **************** The Automatic Fraud alert stopped the card from further activity and when informed my Mother activated the dispute process to recover the charges since then our Bank's dispute **** Main Branch ******************* ************** has attempted to work with UDEMY and states to me that 2 charges were reversed but the bank is unable to find out which but they refuse to reverse the rest UDEMY and further assistance on my part to gather information is needed the main branch stated they had a number to contact UDEMY *********** which if it worked at all now leads to an automated ***************** search offer there is no way to Physically contact this Business other than email chat which can not help as we are not students an Escalations case number reverts back to the support page and since the escalations report generated no further contact has been made on UDEMY's side All sending red flages since a Business should be able to work directly with banks and credit card companies in cases of ID theft or card theft I would like the fraudulent charges paid back but also if More transparency as well from a Business may protect future victimsInitial Complaint

There is no way to contact customer support as far as I can tell. I had ****** login set up, to access my account, today and yesterday it's not working (firefox). I've accessed it in the last two weeks. I click through choose the correct account, it acts like it has logged in and then nothing. I'm still logged out. I've been all through their absurd common isses thing and still no contact. I want them to fix their ****** app and let me access the courses I have bought. They have a notice saying to update all chrome browsers This is firefox and it is updated. Also side note: Having literally no apparent method of contacting customer support should be illegal. I purchased a course from udemy and within a matter of minutes wanted to return that but when i tried to raise a refund request, it was denied stating that i have downloaded the course with some violation. Well i asked them twice( it was some some marcio at the customer service i emailed him twice to get a justification like what is the violation? tell me... haven't heard back yet. but this is utterly shocking that just not to refund the customers UDEMY has come up with such non relevent excuses which aren't making any sense at all. If at all you think that i have downloaded the course with some violation at all then go and stop that practice( as in it should be a flaw in your system i don't know about that) rather then refusing my refund unnecessarily ok? I would ask Udemy to get this sorted and the course refunded and make it merrier.Initial Complaint

I had joined Udemy, LLC this year because I got their information from a *********************** called Steady. Udemy, LLC was on the list for Gig opportunities. I read their information and saw it as an opportunity to EFL/ESL courses so that Immigrants students who need to take English classes as a requirement for work, training program, and go to College/University to take them to brush up and improve their English language skills to fufil these requirements. However, to my disappointment, there seems to be some Scam going on in this company. This company has 6 locations. Their Headquarters is in *************, **. The other locations are in **********, *********, ******, ********, *****, ******, *******, and ******, ******. When I joined this company, I received an email with a recording that was suppose to be like a Mentoring advice on how to join them, create courses, go and prosper and so forth. I had to submit a Video to receive feedback on what needs to be done in order to create Videos for lectures as far as the room set up, types of lighting to buy and so forth.I started having problems with the company when I tried to change my Bank information. I followed the instructions on the website. It took two months for them to correct this. A student took my course and I was not paid.My third course, which is an Immediate level on Hard and Soft skills. It usually f takes 1 to 2 days to review before it is published. It was held for 5 weeks. Now my fourth course which is an Advanced level course, was held for 4..5 weeks and labeled "unpublsihed", without the fifth lecture, and then 1.5 weeks after I uploaded the fifth lecture. I got a message "Fix it" with no explanation. I have received attack emails six Udemy support team members and one team member by name "***" a nickname from *****, spied on my me, attended a ****************** that I was in. I was believe that I am being unfairly treated and hindered from participating in the upcoming promotion.Initial Complaint

A course was purchased on 10/7/2022 for $24.99 with a "30-day Money Back Guarantee".After skimming over a small portion of the material (15% of the material was accessed according to Udemy), I requested a refund on 10/18/22 as the course was poorly constructed and did not meet my expectations.On 10/18/22 Udemy customer support responded that they could not refund me because my purchase occurred more than 30 days ago. I responded stating the course was purchased only 11 days ago.On 10/19/22 Udemy customer support then told me that they could not refund me because I enrolled in the course for free and was never charged. I replied with a copy of the invoice showing that my credit card I was charged $24.99 on 10/7/22.I am respectfully requesting a refund of the $24.99 per Udemy's "30-day Money Back Guarantee"Initial Complaint

First: Udemy as a whole, does not have a way to reach out to someone, in the event the student has an issue. They have preformatted Q&A's, but not way for me to get a question to the instructor to get a question answered. So, to me that comes off as a scam. And I've noticed this with all Udemy courses.Second: Apparently, they encourage their instructors to turn off messaging, so you CANNOT get a question answered by any instructor at all. Which makes learning extremely difficult. And if Udemy is encouraging this, to me all they care about is money, and not making sure they're affective. Udemy as an idea is great. However, they're a couple of issues that does not help at all. 1. There's no way to get in contact with Udemy to resolve an issue with one of their instructors. How are you a business focused on education, but there isn't something in place where I can get feedback, or info from a representative at Udemy?2. Apparently instructors are encouraged to turn off their messaging, that way students THAT PAID FOR THE COURSE, cannot get in contact with them. So Udemy is ok with taking your money, but not ok to answer questions, nor allow you to get in contact with instructors to get questions answered About THEIR Course. This feels like a complete money grabbing scam to me.
