Purchased a class, I never received it in my account. Theres a charge on my bank account. Ive checked on my apple account and the charge went through as well. *** contacted them and they keep asking for proof that I purchased this $14.99 course and Ive provided it but they keep asking the same questions without resolving the issue. I registered with Udemy only TWO days ago (09/10/2023), I successfully paid for two Excel courses and began the courses with ease initially. Yesterday I opened up my laptop to log into Udemy and continue my course only to find that my Account has been SUSPENDED. I did not receive even ONE notification from Udemy as to why my account has been suspended.The only automated emails I have been getting from Udemy are to change my password, I have done this MULTIPLE times now and my account IS STILL SUSPENDED or another random error message comes up that my password is not usable, which is stupid because it's a strong password abiding by Udemy's secure password policy.There is literally NO customer support from **********************!!!!!!!!!!! They only have automated customer service options to email policy@********************** and this is NOT HELPFUL IN ANY WAY. I am getting the same email back saying to change my password!!!!!! I have a strong password so the password is not the issue.I literally just started a new job, and they paid for me to do this course, and now I can't even do it and the money the company invested in me IS GONE!!!!!!!!This is the most despicable experience I have had and I chose Udemy because I read good reviews and trusted them. I have sent so many emails and all of their emails back are automated and not helpful in any way. I am close to tears at this point.Initial Complaint

date of Transaction 4/9/2023 I find it disturbing that you pay for a course the *** 35 hour video started well until it got to sldie 5,6,7.....and is not working and you cannot get a live person/chat/emaiI or otherwise for support. To give someone a help center with canned instructions is not professional and certainly does not provide good customer service at all. This one size fits all approach and company's hiding behind these self service platforms is not right. How about we hide behind the same thing and not pay for the course or take the money back. This is quite frustrating for me and a waste of my time and money. Why do I need to have a ******** account to contact someone for help. I did not pay a community of people I paid UDEMY and I don't want ******** I want help period. They lured me into signup for a "free" trial only to charge me for a full year subscription to their platform which I do not want. I tried to get a credit to my credit card refunding 3 classes that I was unable to access and could not print our required information. I submitted my issues with the classes, heard nothing back and have not received my refund as they claimed I would. There is no way to leave a voice mail or contact anyone at Udemy. Udemy has a 30 day money back guarantee for satisfaction of their courses. I bought a course and then asked for a refund. The course is called How to Get a **************** Quickly, or something like that. But I regretted dropping the course so I went back. For some reason the price had gone up from $16.99 to $84..99 I was taken aback but figured the course must be worth it so I bought it. Well, I was partway through the course and realized it was very stupid. A very stupid course very much not worth such a high price. I tried to drop it for another refund but the automatic message said I couldn't get a refund on the same course twice. I want to say that I have done another ***** writing course from Udemy that I liked a lot, which was why I was willing to pay so much. Anyway, after I was told I couldn't get that refund. I scrolled through the rest of the videos because the instructor sent an email that said once I finished the course I would be added to his LinkedIn network of ***** writers. I figured I should get something for my money. Well, I didn't even get that perk. After a week or two I have decided that I just cannot justify paying that much money for such a stupid course so I went to try to email Udemy to request a refund from them directly, since the form yielded a negative. I feel like Udemy should stand by their satisfaction guarantee. And I think Udemy should have an email address or online contact form. I would like my $85.00 back.Initial Complaint

On Dec 31st, 2022 I purchased 3 courses from a *********************** (1. Character ***************************************** 2. Environment *********** Complete Perspective Drawing & 3. Character *********** Complete Character Drawing). In the description for all of ***************' courses he advertised offering an additional "7GB of ******************* obtainable via email at *********************************** I've sent & retained all emails, most with with no response. I contacted Udemy numerous times, with the 1st time being Jan 14, 2023. Udemy refused to give any updates. All course listings for *************** seem to have been updated & no longer advertise "7GB of ******************* by email. Some courses have it removed, while others are reworded such as "Utilize the included 7GB of *******************. During my wait for a response I received further advertising from *************** still listing the "7GB of ******************* by email with his courses. The courses were purchased at end-of-year pricing. Now **************************************** are trying to sweep the issue under the rug. Pretty hard to believe that someone with over ***** students & over ****** 5-Star ratings hasn't been called out on this before. Also I've noticed Udemy must be in cahoots with ***************, since the descriptions for the courses aren't the only things being altered. The "Last Updated" dates for course descriptions are now much earlier, even before my purchases. *************** is probably one, if not THE top art-related teacher on their platform. His courses also had the highest original prices, each averaging over $120. It doesn't surprise me in the least to see them protecting him. I am not requesting a settlement on my end at this time, as I did get all the courses at a substantial discount during the sale, do not want paid access revoked & do not expect to get both access+refund/further-discounting, or missing resources. This is purely for the BBB. They only need be held accountable & have their rating tarnished.Initial Complaint

I was charged for a very expensive subscription and the company makes so you have no way of contacting them to try to resolve the issue. I have looked endlessly to find a way to contact customer service but it seems like there is none. 10/30/2022 My Mother's Debit card on a Joint account with me ending in **** Name On Card *********************** issued at **************** ************* Branch *************************************************************************************************** ********** information was skimmed or Physically Stolen by copying six charges back to back for UDEMY Online Courses were made starting ****** $****** 19:16 Hours a second. POS 19:21 $****** 2 POS charges 19:28 Hours each ****** 2 POS charges 20:21 Hours each ****** also related Cross Border fees from WAN ChI ** Have been charges all with in the **************** The Automatic Fraud alert stopped the card from further activity and when informed my Mother activated the dispute process to recover the charges since then our Bank's dispute **** Main Branch ******************* ************** has attempted to work with UDEMY and states to me that 2 charges were reversed but the bank is unable to find out which but they refuse to reverse the rest UDEMY and further assistance on my part to gather information is needed the main branch stated they had a number to contact UDEMY *********** which if it worked at all now leads to an automated ***************** search offer there is no way to Physically contact this Business other than email chat which can not help as we are not students an Escalations case number reverts back to the support page and since the escalations report generated no further contact has been made on UDEMY's side All sending red flages since a Business should be able to work directly with banks and credit card companies in cases of ID theft or card theft I would like the fraudulent charges paid back but also if More transparency as well from a Business may protect future victims
