    I purchased 17 course from Udemy in February of 2022 and have not started a single course from them. I recently had to apply for full term disability and was recently approved for it. I have now found out that I will have to do something from home if I am to continue working while on disability to help with the income equation. I thought that Udemy would be supportive when I messaged out to them to ask if they could refund the charges for those courses I have not taken or to give me a balance I could use on courses that can help me in my situation. The thing is that they messaged me back literally minutes after I messaged them which lets me know that they did not give my case any individual consideration given the circumstances or at least check with a supervisor to see if there was anything that they could do above and beyond what the customer service can do. I at least would have hoped that they would have provided some service other than just flat our saying that there was nothing they could do for me. Not having money hurts when you are on social security disability and you have to make every ***** count. I am requesting that they reconsider providing a balance or credits or a refund given the circumstances of this case and how they are not revolved around buyers remorse or any reason that would be a bad reason for requesting a refund this late past the date of purchase. I think the first mission of any business should be to support their customers no matter where they are out in their journey which can unfortunately include unique circumstances such has this one. That means dealing with the really hard ones or helping more than you might if it was just a normal run of the mill refund request or something. Therefore, I decided to make this BBB complaint because of the fast response and no real consideration and no option for forwarding to a manager or supervisor for a second review. I am doing this on behalf of the judge that approved my case also.

    When I went to their website the price of the course was $34.99. Once I added it to my cart it jumped up to $149.99. I cleared my browser history and cashe, went back to their website, against it was $34.99 again I added it to my cart and it was $149.99. I decided to do some research and as it turns out, this is a common practice by udemy.

    Period event started: Over 4 Weeks Amount Spent On Udemy: Over $10,000.00 Estimated What Udemy committed to provide for me: Continuous Access to Courses Purchased on their website Nature of Dispute: Denial of Access to the courses I have purchased with my money for the past four weeks Does The Business Tried To Solve The Problem: No, not even an attempt.Udemy make me to lose an offer from important appointment, due to been unable to access information paid for on the platform I have read their students guidelines again and again, I have not seen where I have violated any policy. 3 things I do on Udemy are: 1. Buy courses, 2. Download free courses needed when available 3. Study and seek knowledge as a student. I will appreciate if I can be pointed to any kind of violation claimed to have been violated and ways to resolve this issue. Holding my account hostage has no value for you or me, I'm hurting badly cause I can't access my hard earn money values I have purchased on your forum.Please revisit your decision concerning my account and recheck making sure their is no mistaken identity in this case.Please kindly restore my account as soon as possible or get in touch with me if you have any questions in other to resolve this situation ASAP.Thank you and God bless

    Udemy stripped all 5 classes from my account and then made it my problem to prove I purchased them. That is stealing!!!
