      Wholly disreputable company. Like many other people, I signed up for a trial subscription but then the company would not process a cancellation and would not respond to emails or inquiries. It keeps charging my credit card. They should be shut down. (Moreover, the content did not turn out to be as was promoted.)

      I love this app so much. I have caught up with more books with audio books than I was able to physically read. Considering wfh and busy lifestyle.. keeps me connected to my love for books. However I really wish there could be up- to date with the authors already on scribd with their latest audio books.Its my first app for audiobooks and I was subscribed with Audible but cancelled the subscription and stuck with scribd.

      I love this app. Ive been able to read ebooks or listen to audiobooks that are newly released as well as read books that I never got to finish back when I was in high school roughly ten years ago. Their are so many good options available on this app, plus its honestly a steal for the price! Like think about it, Kindle Unlimited is like $10 & I think Audible is like what $15 now? So thats a good $25+ to be able to read and listen to your favorite books. Ive been paying under $11 a month including tax for Scribd. Theirs only been a small handful of books that I havent found of this app. Over 90% of the books I want to read Ive found on here. Plus when I first got Scribd I had a two month free trial which is way better than the normal one week free trials. Ive read more books this year because of this app than I have since I was in high school. I highly recommend checking it out if you havent already! Do it!!

      Ive been using Scribd since they first came out and I have NO complaints. They are always releasing new books and audio. If you have questions, customer service is on it, speedy and helpful. I love the app and will be a fan for life!!!

      I signed up for a free trial on Scribd at the end of May so that I could access a powerpoint that I saw on the site. When I realize that it wasn't an actual powerpoint but just a pdf copy I canceled my account the same day (I now realize that they never sent me a record of that cancellation). On June 24th I was charged ***** anyways. I emailed them on June 29th explaining the issue and got no response. On July 24th my credit card was charged again. On July 25th I cancelled the account again (because it didn't show that it was cancelled) and I contacted Scribd again. This time I got confirmation of my contacts to them (ticket #*******) but no confirmation of my cancellation and no response from Scribd I tried to dispute the charge with **************** and Scribd immediately answered Amex and told them that there was no record of my first cancellation so Amex is charging me the ***** from June 24. I have not heard back about the second charge of *****. If Scribd thinks that these practices will gain customer loyalty they need to know that they will never see my business again.

      I am unaware of how this company has found my financial info. I did not to my knowledge ever subscribe. Ironically they have an address very close to my home. I am not even a user of this type of service.

      This site advertised one price and then charged my PayPal account nearly $2 more. They never sent notification of my free trial period about to end. When I tried to login to end my subscription I could not get in. Scribd support never replies to emails for support. When they billed my PayPal account, I was furious. I started a dispute with the charge at PayPal. PayPal denied my dispute after whatever Scribd told them. Scribd never answered any of many emails about this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Thankfully, I was able to end my subscription via PayPal. You have been warned.
