Very poor moderation. Low quality ads. Men are allowed to disrespect and demean women and untrained local moderators allow their posts. If the woman pushes back, people gang-report her and she's the one who gets suspended. I was suspended just for asking someone to stop replying to me who was belittling and bullying me. I was suspended for posting that the Supreme Court held that burning the US flag is protected speech by the first amendment with a link to the Supreme Court decision. It's completely true! They suspended me for 2 weeks calling it Disrespectful. How can something that's just a fact be disrespectful? Local moderators vote on reported posts based on their opinion of the issue being discussed instead of whether it violates guidelines.

Nextdoor is a total mess. Now it's "For You," "Latest" and "Nearby." How does ND know what is for me? "For You" brings up broken iPads 18 miles from me. "Latest" brings up posts 15 miles from me. "Nearby" brings up advertisements that cover my entire monitor. Each time I log on, I have to choose out of three surprise areas. In the past, you could chose your neighborhood only. ND obviously has not heard of beta testing. I would ditch this site in a minute but my large condo community in ******* is in crisis mode with the new laws.Give your members a choice, dammit!

As a Jewish American I feel harassed on Nextdoor (ND) for being Jewish and posting about issues concerning local ***************** My posts are targeted by local antisemites and removed by leads or ND Support. I am not the only Jewish ND user who have experienced this. I have been suspended for a month for writing a post to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day (HRD) where I also asked my neighbors to speak up for their Jewish neighbors at the time of increased antisemitism. My two appeals were denied citing that mentioning October 7th and antisemitic incidents was in violation of non-local politics guidelines. After my suspension, I saw a post discussing the war in the *********** at length that has been live for weeks. Many users on that post were spewing vile antisemitism and misinformation about Israel and Jews. I have reported 20+ comments and many users from that post. However, they were NOT SUSPENDED. This is biased and unfair moderation at the very least. I get a month-long suspension for non-local politics within *********************************************************************************************************** offers no articles on its blog about antisemitism while if you search for articles about racism, for example, a lot of information pops up. For an organization that claims to be inclusive, this certainly does not scream inclusivity. ND representatives suggested that I should form a group to talk about local Jewish issues and not flood the feed with Jewish content. It is appalling and akin to asking Jews to go hide in the attic. My communication with ND support about this harassment was met with canned answers. Often, they just stopped replying and did not address the issue of antisemitism on its forum or offered me any help to make my ND experience antisemitism and harassment free. Based on my experience, ND is not inclusive as it claims and supports hate speech against Jews and harassment of Jews on its platform.

The company is perceived negatively, with a culture of toxicity and a tendency to block posts, even those seeking information on local amenities like restaurants, hiking spots, or fishing locations, citing them as spam. It appears that while Nextdoor allows racist comments to remain, they remove innocent inquiries about the city's attractions. This behavior brings into question the integrity and credibility of the company.

*************** Next Door is full of Spamming they will take your e mail and put states on your behalf that are not true then you get kicked off. This app has no one watching it and full of spamming also the next door I was involved in started having Poll Dancers and Animal Sellers who are not what they appear to be. Also men contacting you and finding your home address and phone numbers. Stay off these Next Door's they are horrible.

Accounts are routinely suspended without mentioning which post or comment broke the rules.Censorship is at ridiculous levels and mostly automated by algorithms that make mistakes. One person's comment was deleted because they mentioned the "panhandle" of *******. The algorithm was convinced that the poster said something bad about homeless panhandlers.A Black lady was suspended because she mentioned that two Mexicans broke into her house.Members of the Review Team often post comments that break the rules with no punishment.Numerous scams are posted with no removal.

I wish I could leave a negative zero. I know there is something going on within this app and I'm just going to leave that at that for now. I am going to have the people that THINK they are important and are involved with people accounts and getting their information because something is not right. Sunday I was casually online looking for an item and when I clicked it this mess popped up so I clicked on it. In order to look at it it said I had to sign up the only options was with email, Gmail, icloud or my account which I did not have. So I decided to try with Gmail immediately it showed my Gmail account and said welcome. The next question was about my location, I had to turn on location then enter my address. Then it wanted me to send out a text to ask if my friends to invite them and I said no this is ridiculous I've never been on this and I was looking on ****** for an item this is intrusive. So then it says would you like to put up a picture so your neighbors can know who you are because your address is just so that you can shop with neighbors or do you want to skip I said skip but what do I see my profile picture showing anyways. After that it goes to some screen about pool parties, animals and some other things. I'm just clicking because I'm trying to understand where is the item I was originally on here for but it's no where. It keeps glitching, freezing, starting over but I'm never ever in my neighborhood. Never. I search for the item it never comes up. I search my zip code nothing comes up. Long story short I finally find something 4 or 5 times but only 1 person hits me probably a hacker I never got an email to this moment from this app even after making a complaint and then they say they will send a copy never did because they suspended my account due to my name. Yet I never once had a chance to do anything with my name is the name from the email address but I know for a fact there are names on there that are fake they tell me send them my license. You wish

Misrepresentation and Censorship by Local Admins on NextDoor.com I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against NextDoor.com for the unethical behavior exhibited by its local administrators. This behavior includes misrepresentation of facts, removal of posts that do not align with their personal agendas, and blocking individuals who call out these practices.NextDoor.com claims to be a platform designed to ****** community connections. However, my experience, along with the experiences of other residents and local business owners, tells a different story. Local admins on the site have repeatedly misrepresented facts, and when confronted with opposing viewpoints or posts that expose inconvenient truths, they resort to deleting those posts. This suppresses open discussion and undermines the platform's credibility. The situation escalates when individuals who highlight these issues are blocked, effectively silencing their voices and preventing them from participating in community dialogue. This abuse of power is not only unethical but also deeply damaging to the trust and integrity that NextDoor.com is supposed to uphold.NextDoors failure to ensure fair and unbiased moderation has turned it into a platform where free speech is curtailed, and only a narrow, self-serving narrative is allowed to persist. This behavior is unacceptable, especially in a time when honest communication and community support are paramount.I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate these practices and hold NextDoor.com accountable for its actions. Until substantial changes are made to ensure fair and unbiased moderation, NextDoor cannot be trusted as a reliable platform for community interaction.
