They provide a service assisting customers with credit card debt by paying off some of the debt & making payments on the customer's behalf to the card companies. This is done by issuing a lower interest rate loan to the customer & then the monthly payment includes payments to Tally for the loan as well as payments that are made on the customer's behalf. I was using this service and was happy until I was informed out of the blue "Were so sorry to let you know that due to circumstances beyond our control we will no longer be able to make new credit card payments from your Tally line of credit, effective immediately.Tallys lines of credit are funded in many different ways. In order to help our members save money in interest charges, we borrow money in bulk so that we can pass these better rates directly to our members. Unfortunately, the investor that funded your account has informed ********************** they will no longer provide funding for any accounts, despite Tallys efforts to reach a different outcome.Tally will continue to service and support your account, but there will be no future credit card payments made on your behalf.Rest assured that this action is not a reflection of your standing or activity with us. We thank you for using our service and partnering with Tally in your financial journey. What to do next Going forward, you'll need to pay your cards on your own each month. Weve listed upcoming minimum payments due to your cards over the next few days so you can make sure to pay them directly yourself: ..."They then listed my upcoming payments. I was then left still owing them for the loan (which to their credit they've been willing to work w/ me in paying back) as well as all of my original creditors. The sudden ceasing of payments on my behalf has put me in a state of financial hardship & have had to use the services of a debt negotiation company to get things back on track.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, I would like to reiterate (or re-emphasize) my original complaint that their termination of creditor payment services was sudden and without warning. To their credit (no pun intended), they've been willing to work with me regarding repayment of their loan to me considering the financial hardship the termination of services put me in...but had I been given sufficient warning, I might not have been in that position in the first place.

    Sincerely,

    ***************************

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Tally Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as "Tally Technologies") for unethical and misleading business practices. My complaint pertains to a debt settlement agreement that Tally Technologies entered into with me, and their subsequent actions, which have caused financial distress and damage to my credit. On 24 August 2023, I reached an agreement with Tally Technologies to settle a debt I owed for a lower amount than the original balance. In accordance with this agreement, I made the agreed-upon payment to Tally Technologies on 22 Sep 2023, under the understanding that this payment would close the debt account. I have attached relevant documentation, including copies of the settlement agreement and proof of payment. However, to my shock and dismay, I have recently received communication from Bounce AI **** (hereafter referred to as "Bounce AI"), claiming that they now own the debt account in question and are demanding that I pay the remainder of the debt. This is in direct contradiction to the agreement I had with Tally Technologies, which clearly stated that the debt would be settled upon receipt of the agreed-upon payment. This sudden change of ownership and demand for additional payment by Bounce AI is not only confusing but also extremely unfair and unjust. I feel deceived and harassed by these actions, which have had a significant negative impact on my financial well-being and credit score. It is my sincere hope that the Better Business Bureau can assist me in rectifying this situation and holding Tally Technologies accountable for their actions.I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate actions against Tally Technologies to ensure that they honor the settlement agreement we entered into and cease any further collection efforts by Bounce AI or any other third party.Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to a prompt resolution.

I paid $826.38 on 8/25/23 to Tally to cover my credit card payments for Citi and Amex. The Citi payment was not made on 9/6/23. Tally reported to me via a customer service call with ****** on 9/27/23 that their records show total due to Citi on 9/6/23 was 0, so they did not make the Sept payment. Tally customer service had previously told me that the error was due to a Plaid error, then they said it was because my card was not linked. My card was in fact, linked. The total due to Citi by 9/6/23 was actually closer to $400 and now I have Citi telling me that my account is overdue, and Tally is saying that they cannot bring my Citi acct current without my making an additional payment to them because I do not have enough available in my line of credit. However My payments to Tally include not only credit card payments, but also payment on that Tally line of credit. That payment made on 8/25/23 to the line of credit had been posted by Tally. I am submitting a screen shot of the Tally acct statement highlighting the amount paid by me, and the amount paid to credit cards, and interest. There is $285.70 unaccounted for. Tally appears to me to be committing fraud.

I discovered Tally years ago. It was not properly explained how this company worked. They are now telling me I owe them thousands of dollars even though I never used the service as they supposedly was supposed to use them. I thought it was a simple line of credit, but it was not the case. I cant even explain how this business works. It came off to me as giving me a line of credit and it would show me the best strategy to take funds to pay everything off. In reality it kept asking me to pay from my personal bank account. I never had a cent directly from them to my bank account. I forgot about this poor business model and assumed it would just be canceled as I was never in possession of funds from them. Read again: I never once had possession of funds from them.
