I tried to cancel my hims subscription a few months ago and thought the process was completed. Today I received a charge for $175. I reached to them to let them know I did not want this product as it doesnt work and they informed me that there is no way for me to get a refund even though I have experienced zero results using this product.Business Response

My experience with Hers has been anything but pleasant. After paying the initial $395 fee, I received my medications for weight loss and the weekly plan was found within the app. I was told that there would be frequent check ins, as per the app, however, not one single doctor checked in with me to see howI was adjusting to the new medication routine. Highly disappointed because I felt like I was left to figure it out on my own. when I reached out after 2 1/2 months to see if they wanted to check on me as I was taking numerous prescribed medications , I first received a response, saying I was no longer a client because I didnt sign up for the auto renewal. Then I received a response saying oh sorry how are you doing? How much weight have you lost? I found the whole thing appalling. And very unprofessional. I am seeking a full refund.Business Response

I signed up for **** because I repeatedly ran into issues with medication availability. My state requires I meet with a physician prior to getting medication from Hers. My appointment was on the 1/15/25. Immediately after my appointment the medication was approved and $897 was deducted from my bank account. I have followed up numerous times because the medication has not been shipped (as of 1/27/25). It will be 2 weeks since approval. The only way to connect with Hers is via messages and not once have they provided a date of shipment. They continue to say its a busy time of year and it will ship soon. I have also asked if this delay will be an issue for refills and again I received a standard response. They copy and paste responses and provide absolutely no update.Business Response

My subscription payment was to come out every 3 months for roughly $300. The first couple charges were fine. They charged my card in September, but then I noticed they charged it again in November? Thats not three months. It didnt even match the billing subscription date they had down? I messaged them and long story short, we agreed they wouldnt charge my card again until the next set of pills went out (2/22/25), the $300 would have come out in January but because they did it early I had too many pills now, so thats why we agreed that. Fast forward, I looked at my account again recently. They charged my card AGAIN another roughly $300 on December 12!? And never even shipped a box also.. Then when I asked about it, they just said something along the lines of, your subscription runs every 3 months, thats why it was charged. But September, November, December? Thats now $900, and definitely not every 3 months like it should have ******* conclusion, this complaint charges your card whenever they feel like it, instead of what was agreed on.Business Response

I am not necessarily looking for a response or for the hers company to do anything. People need to be aware their card will be charged when it was not agreed upon, and whenever this company feels like. When you ask questions, you will get multiple automated messages until you get upset and they say they will do something. But they wont it will just happen again. I also see/know I am not the only previous customer this has happened to.

transaction date, january 27th, 2025 i had downloaded the hims app and went through the questionnaire at the end it asks about subscription preference which i had set to a 6 month subscription initially i was under the impression i wouldnt be charged because the text prompt had ask for a payment method and stated i would be charged $0.00 at the time and i had moved forward with the that but apparently they charged my credit card $234 after prescribing me a medication i was not aware i would be charged and im worried about receiving a refund, i've canceled the subscription and contacted support but based on the shady charge i wasnt aware i agreed to i need it refunded and i'm worried i wont receive one.Business Response

Started glp-1 injections. Had no side effects until week 10. Week 10 I started having serious nausea, diarrhea, cramping, to the point where I missed 4 days work and lost 15 pounds because I couldn't keep anything down. When contacted my "care team" with specific questions all I received was sorry and yes this happens. I finally stopped the treatments and after a week of stopping finally starting to feel better. Unfortunately during my time of being violently ill my subscription renewed so now I'm out 900 dollars for something I don't dare inject. When contacted HIMS they essentially said sorry that's the way it is. Additionally, while working to figure out how to cancel I found a small section about appreciation discounts. I qualify for one of them which woukd have cut my costs in half. These discounts are not very obvious and at no point during sign up do they ask if you qualify. I asked about this as well and was told it is very open on their web site, (not really) and that they can't do anything about that. I left a review on Trust Pilot that is almost verbatim to the above post. The response I received from HIMS was Hey,Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Shared that information with hims on the patient portal and was told, that they would expedite the information and have someone get back to me. Today I messaged again as to why I hadn't heard and received the same third party platform message again. I want them to reply and make this right I'm out 900 bucks for nothing!Business Response

I signed up for a 12 month plan with HERS for a GLP-1. The cost is $1980 for a year. A big spend, but in the long run comes out to $165 a month. When my product arrived and I logged in to check instructions I realized they put me on the 4 week plan which charges customers $399 a month. I let them know about their error and the only solution offered was to cancel my account and re-sign up for a year paying the full $1980. Again, I choose the 12 month plan. I shouldve been charged $1980. HERS incorrectly set me up for the 4 week plan charging me $399 and is suggesting I make a new account and now get charged the full $1980 while they pocket the $399? Ill end up paying $2379. They should charge me the difference and adjust the billing cycle. Imagine if they did this to thousands of customers making a lot of money off their errors along the way.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the three customer service representatives I spoke to today told me to re-fill out the intake forms in order to get on the 12 month plan. Every time I did, all I was offered was a medication plan, which I did last year with HERS and didnt work for me. I cannot seem to get anyone to see in my file where the doctor approved me for the semiglutide and I simply need to correct my billing schedule.

My order still has not shipped. They charged my account $897 on 1/16, 7 business days ago. It is unacceptable and ridiculous at this point. I am escalating this issue further for services not rendered. The company has only given me noncommittal excuses and no timeline on my medication.
