      I signed up for a $1 charge try this company services for a one question/help. I had one question and they didnt help nor answer my question. I was not pleased with the service. I didnt know i signed for a membership. I was charged $55 for a membership 10/24/23 Called (on 11/21/23) cancel membership Received text confirmation and got charged again on 11/24/23. When I call this company Just answers, It says Im cancelled based off my phone number so why am i still getting charged? Nothing was explained a delay or anything. No refund! I believe this organization is a scam and fraud for charging my account after cancellation. Also, false advertising for one time use for a $1 charge. No trial offer, just scamming.

      The justanswer website says to pay 1$ to join and it doesn't say anything about the 46$ membership and then they charge you the 46$ automatically without notifying. And then send you a reciept with the 46$ payment and say that there is no refund. They charged the card without notification of the extra payment until after its all said and done

      I checked your JustAnswer account and found that I refunded the $46 membership payment on 11/28/2023.  The payment is showing as 'reversed' on our end. This means that we were able to cancel the transaction before the funds left your account. When this happens the charge will just disappear from the account because it was never finalized.

      On November 25, 2023, I signed up on Just Answer to have a legal question answered. The website stated that it would cost $5 to have a question answered, and there was no mention of an ongoing $60 charge. My credit card was charged both a $5 charge and a $60 charge. I would like a refund of the $60.

      On Nov 26 , 2023 I requested to speak to a lawyer at this agency , their online agent told me it would cost 5 dollars and so I used my debit card and it charged me 5 dollars , I went to check my account and I noticed at the same time not only did it charge me five dollars but it also charged me $ ***** , when I asked the online agent where did this charge come from , she stated that it cost $5 to be connected to the lawyer and $30 dollars for the membership. I explain to her that I didn't ask for no membership nor did I see it anywhere on the web page where it ****** that the membership cost 30 dollars , plus I mention to her even still 5 dollars pus 30 dollars still does not equal $46 dollars. I demanded that they they give me my money back and that their practice was underhanded and I didn't want to talk to anyone nor have I spoken with any attorney since this issue happen , I still have not received my money back.

      I clicked on the Just Answer website on 11/25/23. My dog had woken up at 4:30am with some very worrisome syptoms of illness. Of course it is a weekend, none the less a holiday weekend, and extremely difficult to get a hold of a vet.When I typed in my question, it took me to a payment page that indicated it would be $5 to contact a vet to answer the question. I thought "ok, $5 isn't bad" No where did I read that I would be signing up for a monthly membership, or I would have never given my payment information. I checked my account statement on 11/26/23 and noticed the $35 dollar charge.I contacted support via chat, indicating that I wanted my membership cancelled and the $35 refunded, because no where does it clearly state that you are signing up for a monthly membership and the 5 is just the join fee. They are fraudently getting people to pay monthly fees. A woman cancelled my membership, then transferred me to a man. He stated he could not give me a refund because it is clearly stated that the $5 is just a join fee, then there is a $35 monthly membership fee.It did not clearly state this. I asked him to show me the page where it clearly states this and he provided me with a link, which took me to the terms and conditions page. When I tried to reply, he quickly closed the chat because I "took too long to respond#I want my $35 refunded. They can have the $5 for the question, however, the $35 was obtained wothout my knowledge, which is against the law.

      11/22/2023 I used Just Answer for a quick question on my computer with the understading that I would be charged $1 fully refundable, but didn't get an answer,I found on my PayPal, they charged me $55 . I called to see why. The lady I spoked to, said she thought I had signed up for yearly thing. I told her I did not and I wanted that removed from my account at PayPal. She apoligized and said she would do that right then.I asked if it was removed and she said it would be. But, I am still charged for the $55 on my PayPal. They have not removed it.

      I asked JUSTANSWER a single question in July. I was to be charged about $1. I did not sign up for any membership and was unaware that I was a member. Since my original question I have been charged about $50/month (depends on exchange rate). I have not used the service at any time after my initial inquiry. I note that the answer I received was useless.I would like a refund of all but the $1.

      I was urgently looking up a question about my dogs medication because my smaller dog accidentally ate it. I saw Just Answer say I could pay 5 dollars completely refundable to get an answer. I happily paid that amount and got the question answered to make sure my dog was okay. As soon as I checked my debit account I saw a 5 dollar charge (which made sense), but I also saw a 35 dollar charge! Where did that 35 dollar charge come from? It said nothing about that when I paid the 5 dollars.

      On November 14th 2023, I signed up for JustAnswer through a search link when I was hunting for some information on how to fix my car radio. In the process, I was shown first a headline saying 'Join for $2' and then in the chat told that I was being sent a link again to 'Join for $2 (fully refundable)'. I was happy to pay that, signed up on the next page. I was charged $2 to 'join' November 14th but 3 days later (November 17th), a monthly fee of 49$! I never gave my consent for this. I feel that this is blatantly misleading and that JustAnswer purposefully obscured the true price that I would be paying. I have now cancelled my subscription that I had never asked for or intended to purchase when I saw the charge on my bank account. This is disgusting, fraudulent behaviour and I would like a refund of the $49. I have contacted their customer service but only to be told That the 49$ was mentioned on the same page I entered my billing information, just before I posted my first question ( which if it was there, should have been extremely fine print. If this is the case, this is very misleading. The only prominent thing you see and agree is that you will be charged 2$ for a question) so they dont want to reimbursed the 49$.

      Asked for help with receiving messages from a prominent sales platform, was referred to this site and told for $1 I would get help. Afterwards they pulled $46. From card. Representative did nothing for me except take about 3 hours of my time, after about an hour or 2 without any communication I said they kept me hanging too long goodnight. Next morning my credit card *** called and said just answer pulled $46 . A bit later I called just answer and insisted full refund as all they had done was waste my time. Representative said they would not refund $. A bit later I called credit card ***and had to cancel card to ensure keeping my $, later I get a message from just answer that they were cancelling account and would issue refund. This delay in action caused me to cancel card with much inconvenience, thanks a lot!! If the company would have reviewed the messages sooner and been more reasonable about inefficiency and refund I would not have had to cancel card!! Some or all of these people are amateurs and customer service will cut you off while withholding info about refund!
