I canceled my membership in April and they reactivated my membership without my knowledge and they charged my bank account for **** I contacted them and they will not issue a refund because they said that I was "Not Eligible" for a refund.Business Response

I tried JustAnswers service in Dec 2023 but did not get an answer or any help at all from them. I got in touch with them via customer care to request a refund and to cancel the service as I was not satisfied at all which they evidently canceled my membership as when I found out about the recurring charges to my card that I did not authorize because when I called customer care their system did not recognize my phone number. I also have never received any form of notification or receipt for the monthly charges they have been charging my card $39.00 a month for the past six months also i never received any confirmation of signing up for a membership as any other service I've used always does. They have fraudulently charged my card for a total of $234.00. The sneaky deceiving actions of justanswer is criminal and not the actions of an honest company.Business Response

5/12/2024 their website has the user agreed to pay a $1 fee to talk to a technician and as soon as you agree to the $1 fee they then turn around and charge you $46 for some subscription that you did not apply for and the page where you agree to spend the $1 does not say anything about a $46 fee that you are also going to incur. why would it? you agree to $1 not 46Business Response

This place is a class action suit waiting to happen. Like literally thousands of others, I elected to use a Just Answer professional to answer a question, paid the $5, and then later they separately charged me $55 for a membership I didnt realize I was signing up for. Also, for the last week theyve attempted multiple times to charge another $55, ostensibly for another month of membership that I didnt want to begin with. Im clearly not alone in this, and Im baffled at how a business whose model is obviously tricking people into recurring charges is still able to operate.Business Response

On May 11, 2024 I reached out to Apple to get assistance updating information for my Apple Account, which for some strange reason would not let me change my address and payment information. Apple directed me to the Just Answer site for help. I described my issue to them and they told me there would be a $1.00 charge to my card which would be refunded. There was no mention of a membership fee. I then got a call from a tech support person who did help me resolve the issue, but it took 24 minutes for him to resolve it. I was very dissatisfied with both JustAnswer and Apple. Very poor customer service all around. After resolving my issue I noticed I had an email from JustAnswer which said I had created a membership account with them and, "You were charged the one-time $1 join fee and the $55 membership fee". There was no mention of this membership fee on my initial phone call with them. And there was no mention of this membership fee when I submitted my initial question. I immediately canceled the membership after resolving my issue. This charge was not authorized by me. This was a scam, pure fraud. I went on Pet Just Answer.Com to get some information about my pet ingesting a raisin. I saw where they charge 5.00 for an answer from a professional. I clicked on the agreement and was charged ***** for a membership that I did not agree to. Apparently somewhere towards the bottom of the page there is an additional ***** charge that is not made apparent in the paragraph where the 5.00 charge is being made. I didnt realize the ***** charge until I clicked on Apple Pay. The way this fee is being presented is very misleading. Id even venture to say is fraudulent. I requested my money back immediately but Pet Just Answer refused. This transaction posted to my account on May 10 but it occurred May 7thBusiness Response

I had a mechanical problem with my 2018 ****** Titan . I reached out to Just Answer. They were to charge me 5.00 to have a mechanic call me and discuss the issue. I never got a call.
