      So today around 12:13am I went to this site Justanswer.com seeking a one time service the site promoted a $5 charge for service and was alerted and I check my back account and it says there was a $49 charge they are scamming people out of there money and then I ask in the chat about a refund because I thought it was a $5 and the agent says there nothing they could do I ask for a supervisor and ask them the same question also so what was the $5 charge promoting and the didn't answer after they felt like they didn't want to deal with me and my questions they completely canceled our connection after they asked me did I have any more questions

      I went on this website JUST ANSWER and was contacted by one of their online chat people when I asked a question. The person told me I would get my question answered for a refundable $2 fee. When I went to the payment **** it was authorised only for $2. When I checked my bank account a further $66 was taken from my account with I absolutely did not authorise. When I contacted the customer care team they tried to tell me I did authorise this amount. It was obviously taken using false and misleading advertising. There was no notification or message clearly noted that this extra $66 fee would be taken . Even their website home **** says going for $2 which is false and misleading as it doesn't indicate there is a further $66. This is a tactic used to manipulate the customer into paying the $2 fee and giving their card info for them to scam the extra $66. They then bully you into not refunding the amount. It's a huge scam business and I can't believe they are legally allowed to practice like this when its happened to thousands of people.

      My husband put in a debit card for $1.00 on his card and later tried to tell this company he didn't want the service. Our bank changed the number of his card more than once, but this company was able to continue to access funds, even without us catching the transaction or the bank letting us know. We didn't use the service in all this time, and also believe there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company. We would like a refund. Our bank will only refund 60 days or $92. Any help is appreciated.

      This is 2nd time that JustAnswer has charged me money much higher than advertised.i had a Q for ****** and they sent me a link I did t know. I touched it and I got a fraud message from my bank. I never talked to a soul! They charged me $43 for NOTHING ! Second time ! Y ***** says it happens frequently.

      On Aug ***** I found a link to ask a Canadian lawyer a question for $2. I paid the $2 and had my question answered partly. (I knew immediately she didnt know Canadian law) I then looked at my bank account to find that they had charged me an additional $66? I immediately went back to them and a bot informed me she would cancel my membership to ensure I wouldn't be charged in the future. There was absolutely no indication that there was a membership or a charge? I did not download their app or even visit their website. The question was posed in my text msgs. They falsely advertised their services and scammed me for $66. I want my initial $66 back. I was never informed by way of their advertisement or the initial conversation to start said service. Please help me and in doing so prevent others from this scam! The apparent lawyer wasn't Canadian and didn't answer my question completely and was actually quite snippy.

      I was seeking help with access to my ********* 365 account . I thought I was communicating with ********* (since the website appeared to be) . I indicated I would like to use a phone connection . The Just Ask I was on turned out to be " Just Answer" . The site stated I would have to pay $ 1 and it would be refunded . My credit card immediately contacted me to see if I had authorized a charge of $ 55 on my card . I realized I had been scammed and asked for a refund . This was denied with the statement I had signed up for the charge and for an automatic recurring $55 monthly charge . They sent a copy of a form with that information on it . I have never seen the form before . I only authorized a $1 charge that was to be refunded . I see a similar complant has been lodged against the same company . Please help me with the refund or at least get the recurring charge stopped .

      I signed up for Justanswer after it advertised that it was only 5 dollars to join - i asked some questions about employment law - there was nothing about a 60 dollar membership fee attached to the 5 dollars anywhere in sight - i noticed that my credit card statement immediately posted $60 dollars separate from the $5 dollars so i canceled the same day - after speaking with customer service i was told that it was there and there would be no refunds - this practice is not truthful about what they are charging up front and advertised it as only $5 dollars - had i known i would be charged an additional 60 dollars for chat gpt ai answers i would have never even signed up - im extremely dissatisfied with their non attempt at a solution and apparently this is standard business practice for them as dozens of others have filed complaints both on BBB ad other forums - their business practice is a sham and not honest or transparent about their charges - after being told no refunds over the phone i will have to resort to reporting this to my credit card company to report it because i was not informed about this charge and im unemployed right now i cant afford a 60 dollar hidden charge - DO BETTER.

      BEWARE! Their subscription fee ($57) is not clearly noted and the AI assistant only mentioned that a $5 fee would be fully refundable. I was charge $62 and tried to immediately dispute it, but it was not resolved. I am disputing the charge with my bank. I should have looked at the reviews on BBB before signing up. It felt like a scam and I should have trusted my gut. You really need to look into this company.

      My suggestion would be to make the charges much clearer through the AI/bot before transitioning to the payment screen. It might avoid many negative reviews and complaints.

      Just Answer Company have been charging me $1.00 the first time on 3/10/24, and $35.00 every month since March 14, 2024 Through 8/13/24 for a services, I never requested.

      Dear German G,
      I submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, about the transactions you charged me starting May 11, 2024. 
      Please, read the letter I sent to the other ****************** I am attaching a copy of my last email, about all the charges you have made since May 14, 2024 through August 14, 2024.
      I don't know how your company got my Debit Card Information from the savings account I have in *********** with Banco Agricola, I have not made any purchases through your company.
      As I said before, this might have been a fraud, or someone cloned my Debit Card.
      Please, return the money, which after adding the total amount is $217.00. Your company has a picture of all the charges made to my savings account.
      I was not able to see my balances; because Banco Agricola don't send clients bank statements, and also they blocked my account, and I was not able to see my statements online.

      Date: August 20th 2024 I went to a website that advertised to help me with any **** issue I had. My issue is that I wanted to make sure they got my payment after my wife got a charge from **** Eats and thought it was fraud and canceled her card that was on the account. I then entered my card. I just wanted to make sure that **** Eats got paid. So I went to their (what I thought was their customer service) customer service who asked me to enter the card information and that I would be charge $1 but I would be refunded. I then get sent to some lawyer????? I immediate got off and never used them. It was a scam, I then got charged $63 dollars for a service I didn't need or ask for. I emailed them an they said it was very clear that i was signing up for a monthly legal service! I have attached a picture of the web page I was at.
