I recently sought advice on **************************. Their AI assistant tells me there is a $5 fully refundable join fee to receive an answer. I am happy to pay that. It sends me to a form to collect payment. I complete the payment information and submit it. Turns out they also charge a $35 monthly membership fee. While this is buried in their terms and conditions (and shame on me for not reading them), this company is clearly purposely hiding the fee. When I reached out to them today to get a refund, they refuse to refund the monthly fee.

Nov.11,2024 I went on Just Answer site to ask a question. I was prompted by their A.I. to provide my credit card for a $2.00 charge to show my sincerity (good faith) and the money would be easily refunded. I did as instructed. I was not satisfied with answers or non answers provided. Cut contact with site. I found a $66.00 credit card charge immediately before I could cancel something that I did not want, ask for or agree to. I cancelled. Made contact with a representative (lol) in the *********** and I was told that I was not eligible for a refund without an explanation. I want my money back and no more contact. I used a service from **************************. I was lead to believe that I was to only be charged $5 for a question. I asked it, I was given a subpar answer, but oh well. Then next morning, I logged into my bank account, and they have charged my card two separate times. One fee of $5. One fee of $46. The second fee I never agreed to, or authorized. I was told by customer service it was a membership fee. If it was a membership fee why was I charged the $5? I never wanted a membership. Upon noticing this charge, I immediately contacted just answer customer service. Was denied a refund. Even after cancelling this so called membership less than 12 hours after them answering my question. I don't want the $5 I agreed to pay back, just the membership fee, I didn't even want

In May, 2024, I used Just Answer to answer one question. They said it would be $1.00 and I gave them my credit card information. That was the only time I used their service. I did not notice until my current bill that, in addition to the $1.00, they have been charging me $55.00 a month since May or $330.00. As soon as I realized what had happened, I went to their site to cancel, and to do that it said I had to use ****** to send a certified letter, with $14.95 being charged to my credit card. I don't even know if that is legitimate. Why should I have to pay to cancel a service?Judging from the thousands of complaints you have received already, this looks like a scam. I want a full refund and the Chamber to review the legitimacy of this vendor.

Paid $5 via credit card to the justanswer.com service to receive advice on an automotive repair. The next month I see $34 charges on my credit card. I have no idea why I am being charged as I've never signed up for a long-term membership.

I started talking to their AI Chatbot about a problem I had. After taking the information she said I could chat with a professional for $5 to join. Okay, worth it. It's a $5 problem for me. The screen popped up and I entered in my credit card information. NO OTHER PRICE WAS NOTED. Then I got my answer and noticed they charged me $55 instead. When I talked to Edward J***** in their customer service department, he argued it was nonrefundable. I pressed him and asked for it explaining the situation and he continued to refuse. I'm willing to pay the $5 I signed up for, not additional $50. I want my $50 back and it's unacceptable that they state one price and then charge another!

I signed up for a question and got an answer. Then was build another month. I called and they said my account was closed and they would refund my payment and everything was OK. The next month I got another bill for ***** and called and they said my account was already closed and assured me l would get a refund. NEVER SAW A REFUND! Just called again, announced that my account was already closed. After many times l finally was put on with a representative who said l never canceled the monthly service. I said the recording said l canceled. SHE SAID THAT WASN'T OFFICIAL. She said that l now am canceled and gave me a tracking g number and no refunds VERY POOR SERVICE, VERY DECEITFUL.

Nov 13, 2024 I had a question about a legal issue and went to ************* and had a online conversation and was told if I paid 5.00 I could ask a attorney for advice. I fill out the form and got a text that my debit card has been charged 66.00 not once in the online conversation was I told there would be additional charge of 66.00. They could of and should of inform me of this additional charge. This is deceitful and there excuse was that it's in the small print. Sound like they are aware of this deceptive transaction and from the complaints they continue to deceive there customer. My complaint is against Justanswer.com

On 10/11/2024 I was looking for a part for my bait aerator when the company "********" sent me to a site for $3.00 and they will look for it. So I entered my bank information to pay for the $3.00. I got a notification from my bank that there was a charge to my account that was flagged for some reason, so I logged into my account and found a $38.00 charge from Justanswer.com that I did not authorize. I Called them right away and they refunded that $38.00. Now today 11/13/2024 they took out another $38.00 without my permission. As I was looking at my account I found another charge of $43.00 on 10/15/2024 that they took without my permission. So I called them today and tried to get them to refund my money and they said they would not.

This is a scam company. They use scam tactics to fraud people into signing up for a subscription without their knowledge. I went on their site and despite how they will respond to this complaint, agreed to a one time basic fee to text with a CPA during tax time, I was charged multiple times on the same day in or about Aug 2023 for an expert, even though I had thoroughly described the problem in writing multiple times, they connected me to multiple experts who could not help me, and I was charged for each one at $55 a piece, then a knowledgeable CPA called me after I made same day complaints and I was charged for that expert as well. I was then charged the following month and each month thereafter $55 for which I was unaware until I audited my credit card. I was charged over $1,000 for a subscription I never, in any way, agreed to. I would like reimbursement of the erroneous monthly fees, plus the duplicate fees, which does not make sense because if I enrolled in a service, I would not be charged multiple fees on the same day, which I thought was a one-time payment of $55. This is a deceptive trade practice in the State of *****. I cancelled the account multiple times, but I am still being charged. I want the account cancelled immediately and my cumulative fees for ********* reimbursed. I hope not to have to involve the attorney general of The State of Texas. Please cancel the account, reimburse all charges, including duplicate charges.
