I called ************************** for veterinary care. I agreed to a $5 charge for initiating the contact with the vet. In no place that was visible to me, they must have been an acknowledgement of a $65 fee (again, I did not see this ANYWHERE). A few days later I was charged $65 which I did not complain about because I was given the service requested, even though it was not clearly stated *********** is now 5 weeks later and they have AGAIN, just taken $65 out of my bank account, as if I had agreed to a membership/subscription, which I DID NOT.I was able to call and cancel my alleged membership on 9/9/25. I thought I was getting online assistance for an xfinity issue, this company asked for $5, charged me, $48, and never called regarding the issue. The website looked as if it was representing xfinity. This is very confusing to a senior citizen and overly expensive for no help.Business Response

While seeking veterinarian advice for a sick pup, was asked by ************************** to pay $5. I entered my info for the $5 payment. I then checked ****** and found I had been charged $70, NOT $5. I immediately exited the program without waiting for contact from a veterinarian. On 9/6/2025 I was having an issue regarding medications, and to ease my anxiety, I wanted to speak to a provider immediately. I saw that the price for this system was $5, and was willing to spend that to get an answer. I put in my information and had a conversation with the provider that went well.When checking my card statement today, on 9/8/2025, I noticed that there were five separate charges for this system all of $51. I immediately contacted the support team. I was met with the same annswer every time. I was told that I was shown a screen with a membership fee, which was $46 a month. I do not remember seeing that screen at all.Even if that was the case, I do not know why I was charged five separate times. I responded to them with that information, and they continue to say they would not be able to refund me. And that I agreed to that amount. Im not sure they understood what I was talking about, but after looking at other reviews on the Better Business Bureau site, I noticed that I wasnt the first one this happened ***** is outrageous that a 5 minute conversation that was supposed to cost me $5, cost me almost 300.Business Response

Complaint taken in dictation by H363137**3238313831H rep ** 09/08/25 I was having trouble getting into my email ****** account. I searched for ****** help and it took me to there website. Which I should have known. They had chat and I asked a question and it said it had an answer and it said it would be a $1 fee, so I thought I would pay through ******, I couldn**;t get out of it. So it went through ****** and it came up and said did I want to charge $47 membership fee and I said no. But then it charge me. So I called them immediately and I told them I did not mean to sign up and they sent me an email that they cancel my membership. This happened on Friday and today I see this charge on my credit card and ****** said it still went through. So I call them again and they said we cancelled your membership. I signed up with JustAnswer under the impression that there was a $5 sign-up fee for a single use, as advertised on their website. Immediately after signing up, I was charged a $65 subscription fee without clear consent or disclosure.When I contacted customer support, they refused to issue a refund and have since stopped responding to my inquiries. I never authorized or knowingly agreed to a recurring membership at $65 per month. This is a deceptive billing practice, as the advertising strongly implied a $5 trial. I initiated a chat with ******* to find a provider (referred by *********). I searched up through ******. I cliched on the TELEDOC and proceeded to chat with a chat bot explaining I was referred by health as they were contracted and I explained my situation. I was immediately sent to a payment screen requesting a $5 fee. OK, so I thought $5 initiation fee. I paid then noticed the logo charge to JustAnswer. OH no, I have had an experience similar before and I immediately asked for a refund because I was charged $70 not $5 as I thought. less than 5 minutes in I asked for a refund and cancelled my subscription (that I didn't know I was signing up for). I was told under certain criteria I would be given a refund. When I asked what that criteria was, the agent disconnected.Business Response
