    OpenAI has a product called ChatGPT plus which I subscribed to for $20/month. On March 27th, the credit card transaction apparently failed and I was downgraded to basic ChatGPT.There was nothing wrong with my credit card information as I reentered the same information again and the invoice was paid.However, inspite of the invoice showing that I paid for the service, my ChatGPT plus service has not been restored.I have tried many things like logging out, restarting the computer, waiting for hours in case they need to do some updates etc. but to no avail.The worst part is they do not have any customer service and even trying to reach them via ******* failed.There is no number or email for service, how is this possible?Where is the little guy supposed to go?

    On 3/20/2023, I attempted to sign up for openAI's chatGPT plus subscription ($20/mo). At first, I was shown another user's financial information and address. When I refreshed the page, my own information was populated from my ****** account. I went ahead and signed up through Apple Pay. On 3/24/2023, I went to deactivate the subscription so that I would not be charged another 20 in April. However, when I go to cancel, their website tells me I have no billing information (despite being told I do when I encounter the prompt). There is no way to speak to anyone that isn't a bot through their website. I have joined a discord chat dedicated to openAI where several other users complain of the same thing, and that they have been charged twice. OpenAI just released an email this morning that user data was leaked and I worry that I am going to be charged multiple times. I dont need a refund for my 3/20/2023 purchase, I just want to successfully cancel my subscription and not be charged again. I also have a letter of receipt showing the subscription purchase in case it's necessary.

    Unauthorized subscription charges for chat GPT subscription and was actually charged twice cannot get a hold of an actual person or even get my actual question asked to them because it's like a chat bot or something that does all of their messages

    Hi. Over the past week ChatGPT has had at least three outages with the history. Im a pro subscriber. *** attempted to email the company about a past issue and never received a reply hence trying this avenue. Will you be providing partial refunds to subscribers for the days that your service is out considering its a pretty essential function of this application? I get that its new and growing pains, etc. But you also have a ton of paying customers who are paying for something that is not properly functioning. Thank you for your time in this matter.

    Hello, I am unable to access my ChatGPT Plus account. In other words, I am unable to log on, and I am also unable to log off. I have attached receipts that verify that my Discover card has been charged for ChatGPT Plus access. I have tried all of the suggestion in the ************ e.g., clearing my cache, using a different browser, but none of the suggestions in *********** have worked. I have also tried calling and leaving a message as well as using the Chat bubble, but to no avail no one has responded to my problem. In fact, I even had to sign up for another ChatGPT account just to use the chat bubble. I was hoping not to have to file this complaint, but this is the only alternative I see to resolving my issue.     On March 9 2023 I purchased from OPENAI.COM ,** a $20 per month subscription to Openai's premium hat GPT service. Openai offered that this service would guarantee and prioritize access to paid subscribers. Since March 13 2023 repeated attempts to use Openai services resulted in a message that read "Oops! Access is temporarily unavailable, please try again later." Any chat messages sent through their help desk go unanswered and their status is marked as "unseen". Emails to support go unanswered. Sent an email requesting a refund to ********************************** and that email went also unanswered. No other communication channels are provided by the business to address service issues. It is remarkable that Openai offers advanced artificial intelligence solutions for customer service but they themselves do not even have a ticketing system to at least acknowledge their customer's billing and service concerns. While Openai would use their advanced automated capabilities to resolve complex scientific queries for free for their user's base, ******************** would not even provide a simple automated responses or acknowledgement to a paid subscriber's service concerns.

    This company requires you to verify your phone number to complete registration. I will not give them my phone number. I don't trust any company that asks for that much information. I have requested multiple times, in multiple ways, to have my account completely deleted, but they refuse to reply in any way. Having an unused account on a companies servers, is a liability, and risk of having your information hacked.

    I requested ChatGPT delete my user data after I noticed what it was collecting over several accounts. This was sometime around late last year. I received a confirmation that my data had been deleted. I later decided that I wanted to go ahead and forfiet that data to gain access to ChatGPT and their API for development purposes.I learned that they had never deleted my data. Instead, I was greeted with a message that stated I already had an account associated with my phone number. So I attempted to log in using my old credentials. Low and behold I was treated again with another message that reads; "Oops!Your account has been deactivated. Please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com if you need assistance."So I did. I contacted help.openai.com/en. Several times in the past week. Every time I was told "Not seen yet", and "check back tomorrow" by the chat prompts. I have submitted 2 appeals and received nothing back from either of them.I want my account data REMOVED FROM THEIR SERVERS. In other words, I should be able to go in and make another account if I so choose, because they shouldn't have my phone number, email, or ********* account, on file at all. That's the whole point of requesting a data erasure, and this company has no respect for basic data privacy laws.

    I attempted to sign up for service with this company. The company has a regular signup asking for an email address or sign in using ******* Then the company requires a phone number which most do not. Nothing was stated that a phone number would be required. There is no reason to require a phone number other than to sell or share that information. It simply is not needed. The company is using unconscionable actions in an attempt to gather data about users in order to make a profit on that data.

    Hello. I'm writing to inform you about a company that is violating intellectual property rights on a nationwide (and global) scale. The purpose of this letter is to raise awareness about a company named OpenAI, an ********-based IT company and how it's breaking the law every day.OpenAI (openai.com) provides software named "GTP," which is software that generates text as though a human wrote the text. It was built with data from the Common Crawl dataset, a conglomerate of stolen copyrighted articles, internet posts, web pages, and books scraped from 60 million domains over a period of 12 years. TechCrunch reports this data includes copyrighted material from **** The New *********** Reddit, the full text of online books, and more.(https://techcrunch.com/2020/08/07/here-are-a-few-ways-gpt-3-can-go-wrong)So anyone who ever published anything on Internet anywhere, therefore, has had pieces of their content illegally collected, distributed, and sold to people using GTP-based writing tools. This page points to examples of where people found stolen material published by this program:The ************* **************** recently ruled that non-human expression is ineligible for copyright protection. So for those who wish to simply copy and paste the text with this GPT thing, this new ruling means everything they generate with GPT becomes public domain material. So this company is basically taking copyrighted material and putting it into the public domain.This includes images too. OpenAI has another program called "Dall-e," which manipulates images stolen from the internet and (according to the copyright law above), puts them into the public domain as well. It's other program, CoPilot, is also removing the property rights of programming code.- people who live on welfare or a limited income - low wage earners - children who are too young to agree to a contract - people who have been victims of a security breach (their PII is sold as well)- dead people
