    on 23rd october 2024 i had been falsely reported by a discord user, with the report claiming that I am underage, which is not true. a couple of hours later i got permanently suspended by discord's moderation AI. Upon finding that out, i issued an appeal that was directed to the discord staff team (request number ********). In the aforementioned email, as instructed, i handed out four clear photos of myself and my ID card to prove that i am above the legal age to use discord. More than a day has passed since I sent that appeal, and i have made the conclusion that my request is being ignored by the discord staff, so, as a last resort I decided to reach out to BBB concerning this problem with the hope that it will get resolved faster. I've known multiple cases where fellow discord users have been falsely reported the same way i was, where the staff team shows no assistance and automatically labels the appeals as resolved, dooming the users' accounts to inevitable deletion after their suspension.

    My account has been falsely banned for child safety back in July, ever since I kept appealing my situation ***** keeps responding with my account is temporarily limited even though it's suspended already. Worst part about that is the fact that the ticket cannot be reopened to that response preventing them to unban me. I am absolutely devastated by this because of all the memories I've lost and all the money I've spent on that account, I don't even know what I posted or did that's illegal towards children. They only determined my ban as correct because they didn't read my case. Please discord. Please unban me I didn't do anything illegal or wrong

    My discord account was hacked and the hacker changed my backup codes rendering the backup codes I got when I created my *** setup invalid. Discord has refused to remove the *** to allow me to fix this issue and I have contacted them several times and requested escalation in the second contact with them. this is unacceptable as I have a debit card attached to that account. the username in question is gertrudwarsothe which has many important memories attached to it due to me using it for contact with a lot of my international friends

    On September 20th my account ************ was permanently disabled and for this entire time I've been trying to get in contact with anyone on the support team and they've done nothing to assist me and will either give me a bot response or mark my ticket as solved even though they've done nothing and I've tried reaching out through the official support website and the support ******* with no help or even responses whatsoever on any ticket I've created as well as the only open ticket left being almost 10 days old with again no assistance given

    I am filing this complaint regarding the wrongful suspension of my Discord account and the lack of meaningful support from Discords ************** team. My account was suspended based on a report under child safety, but my comment did not violate any child safety guidelines. The situation arose when two minors joined my server to cause disruption, and in frustration, I made a harsh comment. I fully acknowledge that my words were inappropriate, but they were not related to child safety in any way.Since the suspension, I have submitted multiple tickets to appeal the decision, but I have only received automated responses from Discords ***** bot. My tickets are marked as solved without further follow-up, preventing me from getting a proper explanation or appealing effectively. On the rare occasions I received a human response, I was told that the decision is final without any meaningful investigation or resolution.I manage a server with 1.5k members, where I host regular events and giveaways. This community is important to me, and the suspension has not only locked me out of my account but also disrupted the group Ive built. I have offered to accept restricted access or additional account monitoring as a compromise, but Discord has not acknowledged my attempts to find a resolution in good faith.I am requesting a fair review of my case by a human agent and an opportunity to rejoin the community Ive worked hard to build. At the very least, I deserve a proper, detailed explanation for the actions taken against my ******************************* lack of transparency and poor customer service in handling this matter has been deeply frustrating.     Please email me for any further liasing.The discord user known as keyoh#****, known as f*** of the dog in the screenshots, has constantly engaging in harassing behaviour towards me in the discord for the past 1 year because he is my competitor in reddit NFT trading. A lot of the accusations are actually lies and verbal abuses towards me which he constantly started verbal abusing me first even when i said nothing towards him. Faced with no choice, i created a subreddit to defend myself from his allegations but he got it shut down for "harassment" while he is allowed his illegal activity in discord.     I am rejecting this response because: i have already reported this msg via the discord app, however no action was ever taken. This is only but the tip of the iceberg done. The particular server has people constantly spewed personal attacks and hate msgs. There was also another user who even mentioned to me he hope nobody remembers me when i passed on. This was on top of his numerous actions before the admins of the channel finally banned him! Once again please refer to my earlier attachments on top of this attachment that i am now adding, surely MONTHS of not doing anything warrant serious action?

     

    Even if i could ignore all these messages by not participating in the server, they are my competitors in the *** business and their lies and allegations against me can cause severe harm to my business, even if i am just a small time trader and no individual would like seeing hates msgs, lies and harassment directed against them.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This reply is clearly not made in good faith as discord (the business) is just quoting it's previous message. The response also made no sense as i have already mentioned in my previous reply that i have reported the issues via the business app, but nothing has come out of it. To show my sincerity in resolving this issues, i am reporting those messages once again if the business somehow missed it through the app, but unfortunately, i am only able to report a fraction of the numerous harassment and hate msgs before my report stopped going through with no acknowledgement. Also, i highlighted numerous violations that have been occurring for months and it will be easier for the business to take notice of my reports here due to the volume of the harassment/hate messages towards vulnerable people.

     

    Even in my screenshot titled thebobsbanned.jpg, the discord channel administrator have highlighted the numerous offenses a user have commited before banning the user, which also include hate messages towards vulnerable groups of people. This is on top of the hate message towards a vulnerable group of people that i have uploaded that occurs recently (barely less then a week ago). Please do something instead of allowing the channel to continue spewing hate messages towards vulnerable groups of people and unwarranted harassment that have been occurring for months.

    I have been falsely banned on the program. The email said that I was banned for owning the discord server yay this is a discord server that one of my friends made a long time ago. The server currently only has me and has been abandoned. My username is Eabusham2 and the ban reason was having that server afor malicious conduct this is not true and when I go to appeal it on discord, even after saying I dont want a bot response, I keep getting a robot saying that discord checked and the ban was placed correctly and the account is temporarily limited. This is not good because my account is permanently suspended and it appears I am not being helped out properly. The other offense I dont know how I got but it was for fraud in a server I was in. I dont recall that happening. All I want is access to my account or at least a better reason of the ban as I have no idea. It could be just a big cunfosuin about the server I am unsure though. I really want this account back as its from 2019 and a lot of people I know reside on it.

    I am rejecting this response because: I am very cunfused how this ban is correct, the ban happened for an empty and abandoned server with NO activity. If anything happens on that server that resulted in a correct ban, that indicates that I have been hacked, I think that is what happened, I kindly request a review of account logins and a proper review of what happened, and potentially a real reason, because I have not put any malware or scam or phishing on that server, if it exists it could be a hacker hosting the malware there

    My name is Tor **** *******, and I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the wrongful banning of my son's Discord account associated with the email address [email protected] made a legitimate payment for a service using ******, but due to a discrepancy between the name on my ****** account and the ********************** account, the payment was flagged as fraudulent, and an attempt to chargeback was initiated. Upon realizing this, I immediately took steps to stop the chargeback process to ensure Discord received the payment.However, despite my efforts to rectify the situation and after sending all the necessary information to prove my identity and the validity of my payment, the account was banned. I have now repeatedly submitted the requested proof to Discord, only to be asked for the same information over and over again. This is causing an unnecessary delay in resolving the issue, and I am deeply frustrated by the lack of ************* it stands:- The account remains banned.- I have paid for a service that I have not received.- I have complied with all requests for proof, yet my case remains unresolved.I respectfully request that my account be reinstated immediately, and I be granted access to the service I have paid for.     I am rejecting this response because:

    Finally i got some kind of answer here, but there is still unresolved issue with my sons account (user: stinnvar, email: [email protected]) which remains banned. I have submitted multiple tickets (49380480, 49269835) and provided proof of payment for the service, yet the problem persists. Despite sending all required images and documentation, the responses I’ve received continue to request the same information I've already submitted multiple times.
    I have lost one week of a service that I paid for and was supposed to last for four weeks, which is unacceptable. I need this issue to be escalated and addressed immediately, as I am receiving only automated responses, and it seems my case is not being handled properly.

    this is from monek9200 i got a reply from discord saying that they don't take screenshots of anything and i sent them my birth certificate and a physical from my doctor. they said no so i sent them a picture with me holding my id card it has been a week and they have still not got to me and i have seen peoples account not get reinstated with tickets still in place and i don't want that to happen to my account i have lots of friends that help me through my anxiety please unban my account i have done everything. and recently checking they where all DELETED

    October 11th - 08:32 AM The Issue Started at 08:12 AM when I was locked out of my account for simply saying the word "Jello" in a Direct Message. I contacted support about this, they simply told me to make a new account instead of trying to resolve the issue. After telling them that the ************* cannot be Contacted and is Defunct/Dead, they ghosted me. So, I tried another ticket, I did get angry when they didn't do anything or even reply, then marking the ticket as resolved, as of writing this I have gotten zero input from discord support.I am willing to resolve this issue peacefully and will be willing to provide some evidence of my ownership of the account (although not much due to not being able to access much information after the false suspension)

    On 10/10/2024 we responded to the user via ticket #******** with, "If you're attempting to access the account associated with your Discord account credentials, you will need access to your email address in order to complete the required verification. With that in mind, I'd recommend you reach out to your email provider and attempt to regain access to your address,". 

    The ticket is now solved.
