You may have heard that there's a banwave going on discord recently because of their **. The ** is suspending users for their messages that aren't even breaking any kind of TOS. I was a victim of one of those users. The message that got me suspended said "me and my favorite server member (not telling who)" (screenshot attached below). It got flagged as "child safety". That message was a response to a video of 2 adult women that aren't doing anything anything against TOS... I wasn't talking about a minor and there's no reason to think I was. If it's not ** that suspended me, I for sure know it's cause that server has a bunch of anonymous mass reporters and one of them chose to report me next. But discord support is also using ** and people can't get the help they want. I did contact discord support and they think what did *is* against TOS. Please help, this app isn't something I use for just socializing, but also for business. If my past clients dm me again, they will think I'm ignoring them... My Discord account was unfairly banned by Discord moderation due to language translation errors. Since my native language is Spanish, I have tried to open several tickets with Discord to explain that the ban which suspended my account is unjust because I did nothing wrong. What happened was an unfair translation error, and several Discord users took advantage of the situation and reported my account to get it banned. Because when reading it with a quick translation context, it seemed like an infraction, but it was nothing harmful. I was just explaining to several users what had happened and why I had asked them to help report a user who had just broken **********************'s rules. In doing so, I used several separate messages; one of them ended up in a bad translation context that, if Discord had read it completely, they would have understood it was nothing wrong.I tried making multiple tickets with discord support, but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back.These were usually automated responses , without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any actionBusiness Response

My account was banned by ********************** under the reason of child safety. I am absolutely certain that I have never violated any community guideline, nor have I shared any inappropriate content or behaved inappropriately in any way.Additionally, my brothers account was later banned for ban evasion, which we believe happened only because we use the same computer and internet connection. My Discord account (username: llegendd, email: ************************** was permanently suspended for an alleged child-safety violation around May 10, 2025. I did not knowingly share any illegal or underage content. The image in question was a repost from a public ******* link that appeared to depict consenting adults with no age warnings. I understand that reposting without verifying the original source can breach Discords guidelines, and I sincerely regret that lapse in judgment.I have spent over $600 CAD on Discord through ***** subscriptions and server boosts. My account is not just a free profile but includes significant paid purchases and hosted communities that I can no longer access. Losing access to this account without a clear explanation or opportunity to correct the issue represents a significant financial loss.I appealed Discords decision via their standard support channels multiple times but received only generic, automated responses that provided no meaningful review, evidence, or detail about the violation. I am using the BBB complaint process to request that Discord conduct a human review of my appeal and provide either (a) reinstatement of my account or (b) a full explanation of the violation with evidence so I can comply with the policy. If Discord is unwilling to review or reinstate the account, I am requesting a refund of the $600+ spent on Nitro and boosts.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:At no point have I ever indicated I was under age to use Discord as a platform. I created my Account back in 2016 which would imply that I made it when I was 2/3 years old which is obviously not the case. They have records of me purchasing various services using my own Credit/Debit cards and for them to ask for this amount of Personal Identifiable Information is unacceptable.
I would appreciate it if you can get in touch with Discord again and ask them to remove any remaining Suspensions they have falsely applied to my account.

I am rejecting this response because: I strongly believe that I did not break the rules of Child Safety nor did any of the content I posted have been CSAM. I have been falsely flagged for breaking these rules automatically and urge discordto review this decision more thoroughly, I have made numerous tickets about this to discord and have gotten the same bot response or no response at all to my complaints. The reasons for my ban was because I was posting **** in an unmarked channel in a friend discord, with whom I have known for 3 years now, but the content that I posted did not contain any ounce of CSAM nor did it intend or break the rules of Child Safety.
This has occurred on the 17th of June and I have been making appeals since then, but I believe that not a single human being has reviewed it.

I take child safety very seriously considering I have minors in my family and that I fully support this apps endeavors in maintaining a secure environment for users. However, I, once again, believe this suspension, was issued in error. I did not post any content with the intent of violating the rules of Child Safety nor was there anything done in bad faith. I have had a clean record for the 8 years I've been with Discord, and I have reported individuals who have, for all intents and purposes, had devious intentions for children.
