    Entirely negligent customer service. I was approved for a student account at a 40% discount, however the discount link they provided was completely non functional. I will be submitting any charges to the fraud department. Probably the worst (non-existent) customer service I have ever encountered.

    I wish I read the BBB reviews before signing up. I've used the services for a few months, and it was just okay. With the current developments of the ChatGPT, you don't need servcies like Grammarly, it is far inferior to AI and you have to pay for it. They just charged me again $144 without giving any warning, without me signing in for many months (I was not aware I was signing up for lifetime charging). And you can't call them either, you are at the mercy of the email service, which I am still waiting to hear back from. Total rip off and unfair customer treatment.

    As others said, they do not send you a notification before charging you and just hit you with the charge. Absolutely disgusting practice, you just get a charge on your credit card and then they say no refunds. No way to contact support either, absolutely worst company so far

    Shady and deceptive billing practices. My minor child thought she was getting a free trial and put in my credit card information. They charged her $144 for a year subscription. Eithin 10 minutes she realized they charged her for a year. She tried to contact them and COMPANY says NO REFUNDS.STAY AWAY FROM GRAMMARLY, you will definitely "pay for it" if you don't. Deceptive that they allow a minor to enter into an " agreement".

    I am seeking for my account to be activated for use. I paid $139.95 on February 28, 2023, for a year's subscription and now am unable to access the use of the program. I don't have any bad remarks to make about Grammarly since I have been a subscriber for the past seven or eight years. My frustration is based on not being able to contact the company via phone or email and continue receiving a page with a free account and not the premium account I paid for. I still have five months of usage before renewing the next subscription.The resolve I am seeking is for the account to be activated as a premium account or receive a refund for the five remaining months.

    Grammarly does not notify you before they renew your subscription. Bad and deceptive practice. If you contact them the day of the charge to cancel you will not be given a refund.

    Fraudulent charges. I am currently going back and forth with them and all they do is lie. They refunded me a partial payment of $114 and sent an email stating they were sorry to see me go, then an hour later they took another $144 from my account without my consent. No way to contact them by phone, so it just makes everything more challenging. I will be filing a fraud suit. Do not deal with this "company"... they will steal your money and put you through h*** trying to get it back.

    Pretty a glorified spell check once you get done with the introduction to the program. Then when you start using it and want check something as simple proper punctuation or anything else outside of spelling there is a paywall. Oh, and the best part is they don't tell you how much it is until they have your payment information. I am a college student who was just looking for help and now I feel extremely ripped off.

    Same as others. Deceptive pricing practice. There no obvious way to tell you're getting charged a full yearly charge upfront when you sign up for a trial.
