      This is the third time I've had to request the removal of my personal information from Intelius. I'm frustrated with finding my name, home address, phone numbers, and email addresses on ******. It's alarming that they have seven profile pages about me. I demand that they immediately remove all these profiles containing my personal information, as they are jeopardizing my safety.       I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Intelius, a company I recently discovered is selling my personal information on their website without my knowledge or consent. I became aware of this issue through an alert from ******, which flagged that my personal details were being publicly listed by Intelius.I take my privacy very seriously and have never authorized Intelius or any related entity to collect, use, or sell my personal information. This action is a direct violation of my rights and raises significant concerns about the misuse of personal data.I kindly request that you assist me in ensuring the following actions are taken by Intelius:1. Immediate Removal of My Personal Information: Intelius must remove all my personal details from their database and any associated platforms.2.       Consistent with applicable laws, all material terms, including billing details and automatic renewal terms, are clearly disclosed before submitting payment information, and each user is required to check a box separately agreeing to those terms before being charged. Our registration page and our Terms of Use clearly outline the details of our billing terms. Customers also receive a confirmation email for all orders made on the site.

      Our records indicate that Mr. ***** enrolled in the Unlimited Person Report Membership at a promotional rate of $12.55, which reflected a 50% discount on the first month, providing access for a 30-day period.

      We have confirmed that Mr. ***** successfully canceled his membership online, and no additional charges will be applied unless another purchase is made through his account. Additionally, a full refund has been issued to the payment method used for enrollment.

      Like most other complaints here, I've been unable to exercise my right to privacy because Intelius has suspiciously attached 31 incorrect emails to my information while simultaneously and correctly listing every address I've lived at for the last 20 years. because of Intelius' business practices. But it starts to make sense when you realize the only way they allow you to exercise your right to privacy is by entering an email that they've attached to the record. The personal information that Intelius is displaying is being used to harass me and my safety is at risk. The fact that they've created a system that prevents people from protecting their privacy so that Intelius can turn a profit seems pretty unethical. I want my information removed from your website and I want you to stop re-publishing every few months. If you fail to do that and I end up harmed as a result then I guess this complaint will serve as a formal record of what's occurred.

The first advertises that they offer the service for free but then when you click the link (they paid to have sponsored on ******) it redirects you to a site with the exact same design, exact same mechanics and exact same claims of authenticity as the 2nd site. After entering your email your name and answering if you live there or not, they then redirect you to the same payments service page as the other and say you can have a7 day trial for a few dollars and then it's ***** a month which is extreamly high. Unreasonably high actually considering you can get Gemini ai advanced 2tb of ****** 1 storage and tons of other perks that will equally (if not greater)provide the requested informative in addition to resources to aquire deeper and relative information. Searching the site map links provided no resource for free services or free information that couldn't be obtained from zillow or any other property/retail sites. This is just absurd that they can get away with this and the lengthy time between user input of information and returned results is suspicious. Their reviews through multiple channels have indicators of being fake and scripted as they are mixed with many 1 start detailed, customized and more genuine reviews on the horrible nature and quality of the sites and even mention of the 5 star reviews being fake and flooding the review board.       Intelius is an online people search engine that compiles info from millions of public records, including information provided by state and local governments. Intelius streamlines the process, gathering the information in one easy search. When you run a new search, public records can be pulled from multiple data sources, and when available, this information is then compiled and displayed in a single, easy-to-read report.

      We strive to provide our members with available public record information in our person reports following an extensive search. This information may include names, aliases, phone numbers, address histories, possible relatives, criminal or traffic records, *** offender information, and social media profiles.       .My complaint is that they are advertising their product services for free. They are not, they also both asked for a lot of personal info before they make you wait an awkward amount of time right after collecting all the info from you and  just before the payment portion of th3 report. There is no resource for free services other than the "sponsored" search ad. The answer they provided you did not address the concerns I mentioned other than tune entanglement  of the two similar companies. Also, why has the other company not responded?

      In November 2024, I requested that my information be suppressed from appearing on Intelius' website. At first, they did. But now, when I search my phone number, my name and full address pop right up. I am the victim of identity fraud and these services only make it easier for the crooks to steal more from me.

      I recently learned from Norton 360s privacy monitor that I need to manually delete the data collected without my consent from a data broker named Intelius. I contacted Intelius about this data, which I then learned cannot be deleted because Intelius prevented the delete of my data, which Intelius collected, through hiding it with phone numbers and emails which do not relate to **** then sent an email to Intelius support where they said they cannot find my data, although the truth is, my data is located within the organizations they said they cannot find it. In this, Intelius has a policy of collecting more data, by registering emails, street addresses, and social security numbers, without consent, in order to release the data collected. These lies made by Intelius violate the privacy of individuals, along with the notion of violating the US Constitution, by collecting data without consent and without merit. The lack of responsibility by Intelius to delete the data they collected, and claim they do not recognize the individual who requested the deletion of the data in their system violates conduct of organizations in response to the customers they are serving.I would like this to be resolved easily through the complete, and utter deletion of my data collected by the data broker, Intelius, Intelius to not collect my data, without consent, for the rest of all eternity, and to rectify the organization's irresponsibility to lying to the general public of the data and the lack of resolve and clarity to removing their data from Intelius's systems.

      I have found my personal information on Intelius' websites and 37 of their affiliate businesses. When I attempt to request deletion, I am unable to, as they only have listed old phone numbers and emails to which I no longer have access. I was directed to email ***************************** I sent an email on Sept 9, 2023 and have never received a response. I sent a follow up on Jan 2, 2025 and still have not received a response.

      The information Intelius provides in reports is all publicly available information compiled from various public databases, government entities, commercial data providers, and other sources of public data. While we cannot remove specific records from a report, we do have the option to remove an entire background report from our site. 

      We were able to locate a background report and validate **** Browns request based on the information provided in their complaint. We will go ahead and suppress the report pursuant to their request and our Terms.
