  Dont waste your time, applied for a loan to get pay debt and was denied with a strong 800 plus joint application.

  My reviews are being deleted. What a surprise. This company is dishonest & unaccountable. In short, they advertise rates lower than they honor. When confronted, they claim its due to individual credit score, loan amount, term length & loan type. While its true their rates vary based on these factors, their advertised rates reference a specific loan type & account for a different **************** to present rates based on an excellent profile. I happen to have an excellent credit profile, as confirmed in their own assessment report. I downloaded this report from the application portal & repeatedly referred to it during my unproductive discussions with them.In these discussions, I went around & around trying to figure out why they didnt offer me the advertised rate despite assessing my credit as excellent. They talked in circles & literally had me questioning my sanity before realizing this is apparently a company tactic. Never experienced anything like it before. LS: Its based on your credit profile, loan type, etc.Me: Right. You assessed my credit as excellent but didnt offer the excellent rate advertised for this loan type, etc. Them: Youll have to contact the credit bureau if you have questions about your credit report. Me: What?! I dont have questions about my credit report. I have questions as to why despite my excellent credit - THAT YOU ACKNOWLEDGE IN YOUR ASSESSMENT - despite this, youre not honoring the low rate you advertise on tv ****************** website. LS: The advertised rates are based on excellentNo matter your credit, income, debit, etc., youll never be offered the lowest consolidated debt rate they advertised. They bait & hook & have zero accountability. If you have excellent credit, go to your local credit union for a signature loan. Save the hit on your credit report by a dishonest company.

  This is quite honestly the easiest loan I've ever applied for. After putting in my personal info and choosing the amount and terms, I was approved within the hour and the money was deposited the day after. It's been a great experience so far.

  Wouldnt even leave 1 star if I could give less. The latest customer service rep terminated the call because I asked why they refused to reply to the Auto Title and Tag that contacted them over 3 weeks ago.Deflective, rude, and a customer service agent that gaslit me again and again over the phone. You shouldnt treat customers that way. I begged the obviously untrained operator not to gaslight me, but they continued to deflect from my question and make me feel crazy.No solution was ever reached on the call. They hung up on **** will never be working with Lightstream again after this. To any readers, I hope you heed this warning from me, a very upset individual who was not expecting to be manipulated so badly.

  I am going to speak from my experience, I had been scared by the reviews of some people. I decided to ignore that and it was worth it. Approved in 2 hours and money in my account in 24 hours. I believe that if you meet the requirements this is one of the best loan companies.

  Lightstream lowered my credit score and then denied my loan application for weak unsubstantiated reasons.(750+) credit score) I have a great credit score and excellent history of paying creditors on time. Wouldn't recommend Lightstream to my worst enemy.THEY DO NOTHING BUT LOWER YOUR CREDIT SCORE! RUN AWAY, AND DONT LOOK BACK.

  ***************. They are just like all the rest. Don't know anything about finances and never look at the bigger picture. Just let some computer tell them yes or no. Then they have the nerve to email me and say it won't affect my credit score, except I had multiple credit monitoring companies tell me I got dinged. They are idiots and liars.

  Horrible company I was told they were the greatest place to refinance... That was furthest from the truth. They couldn't even get their lowest rate to beat their current rate that I had So then They offer you To submit a file showing your loan that you are approved for with the rates And they say that if they can get that paperwork they will beat the rate by ****% guaranteed. Or they will give you $200. It's all a lie They don't give you anything when they can't beat other people's rates basically they just dinged my credit score with a hard inquiry and told me that there's nothing they can Do now they have all my information and will probably sell it to other companies save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

  BEWARE! I was scammed by a company claiming to be LightStream Loans BUT it was not. I am out $3,500 thinking that I was selling our timeshare to them. Their tactics were very sophisticated and believable. I did the research that I could on the company prior to the fact and still I'm out a large amount of money. I have tried to contact them, but they have gone silent. They are based in Georgia. Please do not do what I did---do not do business with an imposter!!

  Was harassed by an employee when trying to end text messages from them. Replied with stop multiple times and the employee, going by the name of ***** continued to message back. It was incredibly annoying and unprofessional, and they continued to berate me when I said I was reporting the behavior by stating they didnt knew I was a reporter. Clearly professionalism and basic RESPECT is a problem with this company.
