    If you are in need of a loan, I suggest you find another lender. I'm trying to pay off my loan and they haven't posted my last payment (they received it 7 days ago) because they say there is a glitch in their system. Each day that goes by the "glitch" is costing me interest.

    I applied for a loan through Lightstream in June 2022 and received an offer for $25k at *****% rate. After that everything fell apart: My dentist stopped responding, my roofer disappeared, so I couldnt take the offer. My credit is well over 700, I have had 3-4 loans from Lightstream in the past and have never been late on or missed a payment. I reapplied and received a new offer at their highest rate of *****% August 2022. There is no way to call them anymore so I emailed and received a very generic response. No phone call, no attempt to get me a better rate, no long-standing customer recognition, nothing. I applied elsewhere and with my very good credit I received an offer for 11%. I would not recommend Lightstream ever again. I was a loyal customer for many years, Ive recommended them many times, but I will never again. Do yourself a favor and find a company that sees you as a human, not a number. Lightstream has gone way downhill since I first did business with them approximately 9 years ago.

    The Lightstream website is not human-centered. Not a lot of design thinking put to work, in my opinion. The loan app needs to alert the user that they will be checking your credit via Transunion - THEREFORE, please lift any locks that are in place. How difficult is this to put on your site?? After the email notification, we unlock the credit freeze, but can't reapply online because you must sign in - Great! But! you can't get past the notification to lift your freeze - Even though you have corrected this issue! Reapply you say? Sure! But! the ************** loops you back to the same notice! This is assinine! Call customer service you say? Sure! But! they do not list their phone number on the page, but they list their hours of operation...LOL. Only recourse is to create new credentials. This *****.I would provide zero stars if possible.If there's a work around, then they need to provide you instructions in the **** email.
