I have a number that goes straight to Lightstream. So if they are being used by scammers to con people out of money why aren't they taking steps to protect themselves. Because I see a lot of complaints about people being scammed using their company name. Because if it was my company I would take measure were random people couldn't just say that they are Lightstream by implementing a safe guard to protect my good name if this happens so much to this company. So to me it seem that they accept what is going on with people using their company name.

When seeking to pay $50,000.00 against the principal of our $100,000.00 loan, I was misguided and not provided the correct information on how to successfully do this. As a result, we owe over $1000 in additional interest. After over 3 hours of phone conversation with customer support, I finally was told the correct thing I should have done in order to successfully make a principal-only payment. We made a subsequent payment which was intended to close the remaining balance of our loan and because of improper guidance from customer support we still have an outstanding balance which is accruing interest daily. I have called several times and keep getting delayed thereby ensuring more interest is accrued on our outstanding amount

Per review of the account, there is a zero balance and no additional funds are due.
