Dexcom 7 is terrible product!! When I called Dexcom to complain about 4 out of the 6 sensors that feel off before the 10 days promised by Dexcom, the tech acted like this was NEW NEWS. He knew of no product quality issues of G7 falling off too soon.I come to the BBB website and see nothing but complaint after complaint on G7 and G6. I had connection issues with G6 all the time; I was happy to try the G7 and now I am running out of sensors too fast but at least it stays connected. Dexom sent me one replacement sensor to cover the four sensors I already did not get the full 10-day service from. The Dexcom app asks why you are changing your sensor before the 10-day service period ends and I state that it fell off on the app. With this app and questions answered, Dexcom should know the rate of G7 sensors falling off people prior to the full 10-day use of sensor Dexcom stated it would last. I called my insulin pump provider and advised that they work with another company on CGMs other than Dexcom. I am now going to investigate the other CGM company due to Dexcom poor service and poor product. I DO NOT recommend Dexcom or G7 product.

The Dexcom 7 is trash. I get 9 sensors at a time and that is supposed to last 90 days. The problems is only 1 of the 9 sensors lasted the full 10 days. 1 sensor lasted less than 5 hours! I tried contacting through email several times. But it took so long for them to respond each time we never got anywhere. I then contacted via chat (bc their phones always have a super long wait). Dexcom advertises they will give you your first sensor free, to try them out. I never requested a free sensor on the front end, so when I chatted I asked if I could have the free test sensor now, to help get me to the point of insurance coverage again. The first tech support person said they might be willing to do that, but asked for many lines of information from each sensor. As I was working on enter all that information, I was disconnected. I reconnected to chat and explained what had happened. The new tech support person said they could not reconnect me to the prior person, so I needed to start over. I told him I had literally spent hours working with Dexcom over these sensors. I let him know my doctor was hesitant to prescribe Dexcom because he had heard nothing but negative reviews about their product and customer support, and that I was considering switching to a new device. The tech support said thank you for contacting them and then disconnected the chat! He literally didn't even provide a second for me to respond -- he just did the chat equivalent of hanging up. I have now been without a sensor for two weeks. I passed out more last week then I had my entire life before combined. I have to wait another month before insurance will cover new sensors.

If I could give the Dexcom G7 zero stars, I would. The G7 is horrible with its failure rate. In the year and a half I have been using the G7, I may have had two that lasted the 10 days. This always fails. When you call the company, after waiting on hold for sometimes an hour, they give you the 3rd degree as if you are ripping them off of your arm early. This is not the case. Reluctantly, they send you a replacement. The G7 is expensive and for a senior citizen, especially so. They need to correct the failure rate of these sensors or fix them like the G6 where it can be used on your abdomen.

Quite literally a trash company that ONLY cares about profit and not diabetics. The second they switched from DME to pharmacy (so you have pay to get your supplies just to hopefully live a normal life as a type 1) it has just gone downhill. I have been with dexcom since the G5 and have only seen the company get worse and worse. The G7 is the worst update to the system so far. I cannot keep a sensor on to save my life or they fail after a few days and this new process they decided to have in place to replace sensors is a load of c*** Do not bother with the online portal because you still have to call in to get them to replace any of the sensors and it takes HOURS. I will be switching back to the G6 if possible and this company should be ashamed of themselves. I will also be looking into switching to a different CGM system. They sold their souls to the devil.

not happy with dexcom g7. was forced to automatically upgrade from g6 to g7. 1st one fell off after several days & after shower. received a sensor failed alert with the 2nd one. customer service requested ridiculous info for replacements. taking pictures of the sensor boxes or saving the boxes for multiple ********************** i should not have to keep logs/diaries of my supplies. i am handicapped & don't have time for this c*** companies should make sure their products work before upgrading/replacing. a very dissatisfied customer.

This device is C*** Do not waste your time or money on it. The high or low audible glucose alarm can not be shut off after you have made the necessary health corrections. Subsequently, it rings every 5 minutes for the next 30 plus minutes. It disturbs other people in church, in the theaters, in school and in the office. Your only recourse is to shut it off. If I have to leave it shut off, I really don't need it.

Having insane amounts of trouble with the updated G7. The G6 was so much better. Having massive issues logging into the G7 app. Having no issues logging into the G6 app or online. The very first sensor I used for the G7 failed 5 days early.

I needed to change my G7 sensor out. I got a new sensor out and I replaced as the instructions said to do. Even though it was hard to push the sensor onto my arm. I didn't think anything of it. I got it to pair on my phone and to my pump. I let it do its thing. Then got a Notification that my sensor failed. Which this isn't the first time that this has happened. Now it late at night right before i was trying to go to bed. IM NOW ****** OFF THAT MY LAST SENSOR ISNT WORKING. I HAVE TO ***** MY FINGERS BECAUSE DEXCOM CAN'T MAKE A PRODUCT THAT CAN WORK OUT OF THE **** I HATE THE WAY YOU HAVE TO FILE OUT A COMPLAINT. NOW IM GONG TO HAVE WAIT TILL THEY REVIEW MY CASE TO SEND ME A NEW SENSOR. WHICH ILL BE OUT OF A SENSOR FOR 5-7 DAYS. WHILE I HAVE TO ***** MY FINGERS BECAUSE THEY CAN'T MAKE A FUNCTIONALLY SENSOR. WHICH ***** I HATE HAVING TO ****** MY FINGERS, THANKS TO DEXCOM. I get that thing happens and technology doesn't always work. Make the review process quicker so people aren't out of a sensor as long. I would think most people would be understanding of that. Dexcom just needs to do better job on making sure products do what they are made to do. thanks to anyone who read all of this rant. If i could do a negative star i would.

Dexcom has the worst customer service! My 22 yr old daughter started the g7 3 months ago and we have had nothing but trouble. We have had 1 replaced because it fell off. This past month we had 2 given to us by her doctor and went through the 3 insurance pays for and they still didn't last the month. These are expensive. We are doing all of the recommended things and putting an extra adhesive that dexcom recommended. I just spent 19 minutes on the phone with them and they wanted all the serial numbers...we don't keep the boxes, they go into the garbage after applied. I was told that as of May 1st they require the numbers. Probably because their product ***** and they are sending out multiple replacements. I asked to a supervisor and the customer service representative refused. Terrible. I am disgusted. 1 star given because it was required. Dexcom deserves 0 stars.

I have had a series of G6 sensors that will NOT calibrate. If my sensor reading is 165 and I calibrated to 140, it reads 165 after calibration; and if it continues to read 165 and I calibrated again to 140, it continues to read 165. IT WILL NOT CALIBRATE. This is a huge investment of time and frustration. Moreover, its prevent my pump from managing my diabetes properly. Im remembering that a few years ago the G6 sensor gave more reliable readings. Anyway, your product is GARBAGE.
