I wish I had seen these reviews before switching from G6 to G7! I get frequent signal losses with my phone on me. I cannot go into the next room without my phone or else I lose signal. With the G6, I didn't lose signal moving from room to room. I get frequent (multiple times a day) large fluctuations in readings over hours so the graph looks like a scatter plot, not a wavy line. I also get a false low reading about once a day and when I try to calibrate, I get a message that the calibration can't be saved with a sensor error that lasts for about ***** minutes. So the data is unreliable which makes the whole point of a CGM system worthless! I will either go back to the G6 or try Freestyle.

Ive used G6 for many years. This week I started using G7 My first one fell off after two days. If this is the average length of time for sensor to stay in Ill pay for a month but only get a week of readings. I never had a problem with G6 coming off. Unless youre very sedentary I would not recommend the G7

The Dexcom G7 is a letdown after years with the G6. The receiver is smaller but extremely slippery and they do not include a case which is a requirement just like the G6! I am assuming they think they will sell more receivers this way after people drop them and drive more profit. This is an accident waiting to happen, I had to wrap mine in rubber bands so I do not lose it. There are extremely limited warning sounds unlike the G6 and even at the highest volume you cannot hear them in the car or when sleeping. What good is a CGM if you do not hear the warnings? This unit also spikes (sudden drops or peaks) which is incorrect data. I do like the shorter warm up time but all and all a big disappointment.

Dexcom G7 Doesn't give 14 days of continuous readings. It's VERY glitchy, with intermittent ********** Range isn't good either. Some readings are very inaccurate. Multiple finger sticks are necessary with this system. G6 seemed a bit better with accuracy. ONLY PLUS.... Size and warm up.

If you receive a product from Dexcom that doesn't work, good luck trying to get it replaced. I have a $400.00 receiver that did not work when I received it last week and I have talked to Dexcom about sending it back for replacement and I am having trouble. They will take your order right away but, I have 5 calls to send this back. I still haven't succeeded and I'm sorry but they are foreigners and you can't hardly understand. I am having to get in touch with a representative for our area. This is sad because it is for a Downs Syndrome child.

The Dexcom *7 is a truly unacceptable product. A C*N should be able to continuously monitor your glucose levels. De com took a reasonably working system, added more bells and whistles and came out with a C*M that is sub-par.1, Signal Loss: averaging up to 19 signal loss incidents a day. Most of these occur when my iphone is less than 2 feet from the sensor. I also seem to get signal losses when I on a phone call. Maybe a conflict, but itfeels like Dexcom should have made sure this wasnt an issue. I thought I left the bogus readings behind when I transitioned from the *5 to the *6.2. Accuracy: Doesnt seem to be in Dexcoms vocabulary. Ive seen *7 readings that were off by up to 100 points (high and low). I especially enjoy having my phone scream at me at 3:00 AM with an urgent low message, do a finger stick and get a reading of 137. As a result, I have to do finger sticks since the *7 is unreliable. Do why do I need Dexcom? Some of the new features are cute, but less important than having a reliable system. A smaller sensor, faster warm-up time and way to many alarms are nice, but I would prefer a system that I can depend on.Support: Really? Does Dexcoms customer support do anything besides sending out new sensors? When I call they ask endless questions, tell me they will make everything ok and send me a replacement. Do they actually do anything with the info they sre collecting? There certainly doesnt seem to be any feedback. On 2 instances they sent a box for me to send them the bad sensors but failed to include a pre-paid label. I have no inttention of paying to return defective products.Time to go back to the drawing board and create the * 7.1 or the *8 that actually works. The *7 is potentially dangerous and I could not be comfortable incorporating it into a closed loop system

My 5 year old son was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and we are new to Dexcom. While I love the product the customer service is beyond horrible. I recently contacted Dexcom on 7/22 because my sons sensor had fallen off the same day it was applied. I contacted customer service and they advised they will send me a new sensor. I express the importance of this because I had no more left and due to insurance I wasn't eligible to renew my prescription until august 1. I waiting until 7/28 and contacted Dexcom inquiring on the status, they advised the replacement had not shipped and they will overnight one to me for Saturday delivery. I waited all day on 7/29 and no package was delivered. I contacted them again on Saturday and they advised me that nothing shipped. I can't tell you how frustrating this has been , I have expressed that Im traveling outside the country and needed to have this as a backup. I was spoken with several people within their customer service department and all they can do is apologize and blame it on shipping and offer no explanation on why these replacement orders are not being fulfilled.

Dexcom manufacturers the G7 blood glucose monitor system. I had a sensor come loose enough that the sensor failed. I had an extra sensor so I applied that and paired it to my phone. That lasted 18 hours then failed. So I called Dexcom for 2 replacements. They were going to ship them overnight with *****. So how I never got a tracking number but ***** sent an email it would be here today between 9am and noon. I called Dexcom for a tracking number but they couldn't supply me one. That's when they should have done an escalation and got a tracking number and if not why wasn't this shipment picked up? So I have been calling Dexcom to get this straightened out. I felt like each agent just kicked the can down the road and left me hanging. If I ran Dexcom, I'd want to know about any problems like this. I was let down and feel like if I ran the company there would have been a sameday shipment at my company's expense to satisfy a customer with a major problem with our product. Im not done chewing a** at Dexcom, the president will hear about this then it's on to chewing a** at *****

Awful adhesion for new G7. I should not have to pay extra to buy extra over patches or skin adhesive to get the G7 to stay on. I will be lucky if 90 days worth of sensors actually last longer than 45 days. I have had sensors detach UNDER attached over patch. I switched from G6 for the transmitter convenience but that was a bad decision. I never used over patches with the G6 and the sensors stayed on like they were cemented. I will be lucky if 2 of my first 6 G7 sensors stay on 10 days. (I just put on number 6 after almost 48 hours of wear before replace sensor failure). I am following directions for placement accurately as I had no problem with G6 staying on. There is supposed to be a slight formulation change from G6 to G7 adhesive. This just plain *****. Luckily Dexcom will replace but at this rate, it will not be fast enough and I will be without.

G7 is absolutely junk! The readings on 4 of 5 sensors I have used are anywhere from 30 to 40 points off. I had a reading on the sensor of 105 and was ******** and finger checked and it was 61! Could have end ** in the hospital if not worse died in my sleep. This sensor needs to be pulled off the market immediately
