On 2/4/24 I made this reservation below. On arrival date 2/14 I called in the afternoon to notify property of late arrival; however, no one would ever answer. I called another property and was told my hotel was closed. I did not receive any notification ever. I googled a phone number for Ramada and verified the closure. Although I was not charged, I didnt have a place to spend the night before a stressful trip. I had an early flight the next day and I spent a frustrating evening looking elsewhere to sleep. I avoided any Wyndham property. During this trip I stayed in hotels for 27 days. I had reached out to Wyndham customer service via email and was told the Ramada I booked was under separate management (why should that matter to me?) and I was given 1500 points. I felt unfairly compensated for my trouble, and did not feel valued. I was considering staying at Days Inn ********** (a regular location for me), expecting the $70 room to be comped. It wasnt. I then heard nothing back even after numerous attempts on my part to resolve the matter. I chose not to stay at any Wyndham property on my trip, and I am now determined to find someone at corporate who cares. Management of individual properties is irrelevant to me; they carry the company name. I am limited in my retaliatory options but I am committed to not spending another dollar at a company that doesnt take care of its customers. And I will alert my friends and family, and even those on social media, to make a better choice than I initially did, when it comes to lodging.
