    I had an Edge membership that was started by my parent, the plan was a year long, following the conclusion of that year long contract I discontinued my membership. I began getting invoices from *** Fitness Solutions a year after though I had already discontinued my membership and paid all associated fees, I sent a written dispute to them which was unanswered. Now I have received an email from Swift Funds with an additionally marked up amount for a charge I have already attempted to dispute with no response.

    I was given a doctors note after joining a gym and my doctor told me I was not able to fulfill my contract. So I gave the doctors note to the gym and the gym sold the debt to swift funds and they are harassing me every single day and now Im reaching for through the better business *****.

    I was contacted by this company trying to collect a debt from Lighthouse Fitness that I had cancelled over a year and half ago. I contacted ********** and confirmed I had no outstanding balances with them and still receive calls from Swiftfunds

    This company has been harassing my son for a debt from Edge Fitness. They are attempting to scare him with poor credit rating for not paying a debt that he didnt incur. He was a minor and I signed him up for a membership with my debit with the guarantee we can cancel anytime with no penalty. This was (2) yrs ago and now they are threatening with back charges.

    Swift funds financial services contacted me today claiming to be collecting on a debt from ********************* is **************** *****. I told them all bills had been paid in full, which I have receipt of all payments. The company (those client, Club Pilates) had charged me past the cancellation of services, and I had currently filed a dispute on my credit card for the charges. ***** then told me they were aware I had paid in full, and if I continued my claim they would file a false report with the credit bureau for the current disputed (but paid) amount.

    I was called by an individual by the name of **** who argued with and berated me over the phone about an outstanding debt of 350 dollars i owed my gym. I settled with my gym (NOT THESE CROOKS) and he still called me and emailed. When i called him to say it was payed in full i was further berated and insulted for absolutely no reason . I was then emailed and told that if i either wanted to dispute this debt or that if it was previously settled i would need a receipt. They also failed to notify me by mail or by email before attempting to collect which is a violation of federal law. They also refused go dispute the debt when asked in writing which is also a violation of federal law. These people are scumbags. Don't pay them a dime, they'll turn a 75 dollar overdue gym membership into a 400 dollar debt and go after you for it. A debt that they undoubtedly buy for 20 to 50 cents on the dollar. They want to extort you for money. That's all their good for. And clearly **** feels the need to take out his s***** life on the people he extorts. Settle with your original service provider.     I went to golds gym (lighthouse) and somehow a trainer got ahold of my phone number and kept contacting me about singing up with a trainer. I specifically said I did NOT want one about 3 times. I had gone to the gym and wanted to ask ONLY if they had any tips on how to get more food in when you have lupus and tend to get nauseous. He kept harassing me about saying yes and signing a contract. When I kept repeatedly saying no and even making up any excuse I could, I just got a new job I dont think I can afford it, I cant afford it in general, just saying no, etc and so on. He KEPT going so I signed the stupid thing and left because I didnt know what to do. I came back THE *** after to complain to a manager and cancel, was apologized to and told it would be cancelled and handled. They did not cancel I get a letter almost a year later stating I owe $1000 something. I never got a copy of anything never received anything stating it needed to be in writing etc. theyre are a sad excuse of a trading program and gym. I revived this email Monday saying I have 30 days for verification, they said they sent one which I never received and refuse to give me any other information to verify this claim.

    Here is a summary of the events that have transpired:Initial Cancellation Request: In accordance with the terms outlined in my membership contract with Edge Fitness, I submitted a written request for cancellation when I relocated to a different area. This request was sent via certified mail on [Date], well within the specified notice period.Failure to Acknowledge Cancellation: Despite my adherence to the contract terms, I received no acknowledgment of my cancellation request from Edge Fitness. This lack of response left me in a state of uncertainty regarding the status of my membership.Unreasonable Demand for In-Person Visit: Subsequently, I was contacted by Edge Fitness, and they insisted that I needed to appear in person to finalize the cancellation. This requirement was not stipulated in my contract, and I found it to be unreasonable and burdensome, especially given my relocation.Alleged Loss of Mail: Edge Fitness claimed that they lost the certified mail containing my cancellation request. This assertion further exacerbated the situation, as it suggested that my request was not being handled properly.Bank Involvement: Due to the persistent issues and lack of resolution from Edge Fitness, I had no choice but to involve my bank, who advised me that this situation was not uncommon with Edge Fitness. As a result, my bank blocked payments to Edge Fitness to prevent further unauthorized charges.Collections Notice: To my dismay, I recently received a notice from a collections agency regarding unpaid dues to Edge Fitness. This is deeply troubling, as I have diligently followed the terms of my contract and have made efforts to resolve this matter in good faith.I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter promptly.
