I received a text from Swiftfunds stating I owed a past due amount with a gym that I disagree with. It was $358.77 for an ************ membership that was previously cancelled, which I have learned is a common occurrence. I called to dispute it and was not given any option to do so. I was told I owed it and needed to pay. I said I would like to put it in a dispute status so I can get the proper documentation over to them and I was met with nothing but unprofessionalism and rudeness. I was hung up on and when I tried to call back, my call was either picked up and forwarded to voicemail or hung up on. I had to block my number for my call to be answered again. That is highly illegal and puts me in a untenable, defenseless position to dispute the debt. This company is leading with scare tactics and illegal scams to try to get money from you without due process as any debt collector has to follow.Business Response

- Date of transaction : April 6th, 2025 - Amount paid : $204.52 - I was told that my debt/ amount paid would go to pay EOS fitness back for the missed payments. When I called my gym they said they were not associated with or even aware of "SwiftFunds". I've been going between "Swiftfunds" and my gym in order to get this resolved but Swiftfunds claims to be the debt collector for EOS, but EOS doesn't seem to even know what company it is.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Originally when this situation happened it was the beginning of April. When I called in April, they told me that the payment would take a maximum of a month to get back to EOS Fitness. It has been over a month and when I called EOS they said they still haven't received any payment. I would appreciate for this to be resolved and for the money to be disputed.

**** ***** has been harrasing me about a debt I learned is a scam. He said I owe Club Pilates ******. Club Pilates show i owe NOTHING. My account has been frozen for almost 2 yrs and I was on auto pay when I was active so it would not be possible to owe any money. Club Pilates said they don't have a record me owing any money. When I called **** ***** to tell him he hung up on ( what a good guy) and then sent me to VM. Be aware of this scam by him and Club Ready.Business Response

I joined a gym and a few months after joining found out I was pregnant and it was high risk and sent the gym a doctors note letting them know I could not attempted to cancel my membership. The payments were ****** a month. This company has called me and said I owe over 2400 dollars. Even if I had never made 1 payment(which is not the case) max I would owe is 1700. this company is attempting to collect $352 from me for a gym membership related to 9RoundFitness.I cancelled my membership in Feb *************************************************************** September. I have contacted 9Round billing department and the gym location multiple times via email and phone. The gym does not respond and the billing **** says they can't help. I visited the gym in person on 10/28 and it looks to be permanently closed. I notified the 9Round billing **** the gym is permanently closed but they say there is nothing they can do. But now on 11/7 received a call from ***** trying to collect the debt. The gentleman I spoke with hung up on me while I was trying to explain the gym is permanently closed. I left a voicemail for him to return my call to discuss further but no response.I do not owe this amount and have prestine credit do not want this on my permanent record. I had an Edge membership that was started by my parent, the plan was a year long, following the conclusion of that year long contract I discontinued my membership. I began getting invoices from *** Fitness Solutions a year after though I had already discontinued my membership and paid all associated fees, I sent a written dispute to them which was unanswered. I was given a doctors note after joining a gym and my doctor told me I was not able to fulfill my contract.
