October 17th, 2024 ************************** made an unauthorized $1.00 charge to my major credit card from an online retailer. Then promptly withdrew the $1.00 charge as if they were checking the validity of the card. I had never heard of them, so I looked them up. They are a presentation software company out of *******. I called the fraud line for my card and told them about the unauthorized charge. They have cancelled that card and are sending me a new one. These people are obviously scammers and are running an illegitimate business. I never ordered anything from Prezi in my life. I have no idea how they got my credit card information unless it was hacked by them or purchased from hackers. I want no further contact.

I signed up for a free trial. I tried to cancel on the day before the trial ended and it was impossible to cancel. I tried sending emails and the emails were returned. I have been charged for 2 months for a product I have never used and I want my money back.

I recently found that an online company called Prezi.com has charged my credit card for two consecutive years in the amount of $180.00. I have never heard of this company so I decided to do a web search. What I found is a company that claims to provide business marketing and presentation services. I am an independent hairdresser and do not require presentations since I am the only employee. When I tried to find a way to contact the company I found that I would have to log into my account to initiate either a phone call or their chat support. Since I had never signed up for service from this coI do not have login information. I then tried the option to retrieve my password and have not received any emails from this company which further shows that I did not actually sign up for their services. My credit card company has not be any help since the charg was more than 60 days ago and they claim that they cannot do anything at this point. They have issued me a new credit card number and that will hopefully prevent future charges from this company but ultimately I am out $360.00 for the two charges that this company made to my credit card.

On behalf of Prezi, I am submitting this letter in response to the complaint you filed with the Better Business Bureau, Case #: 22148201.

We acknowledge your complaint and wanted to respond to the issue you raised in your letter.  We understand from your complaint that you state that you have two consecutive years of $180 charges.  We have queried our system and have no record of your name, email, or mailing address nor any record of you contacting us directly about this matter (which our credit card charge has a URL for contact).  We show no account or charges.  If you have further evidence to allow us to investigate further that would be helpful.  As it stands, we have no evidence of making any charges to you nor any past contact with you.
Absent evidence that matches a record in our system, we have no basis to proceed with any action.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have both of my billing statements for my Bank of America Mastercard that was charged by Prezi in 2023 for $180 and again in 2024 for $180. The fact that you stated in your response that you have searched your system and have no record of my name or email address shows that these charges were made by Prezi in error and should be immediately corrected.
I am attaching both the 2023 and 2024 billing statements showing the charges by Prezi.

    Sincerely,

    ***************************

I had a Prezi account which I canceled on December 29 2023. On 3/21/24, a $36 charge for renewal of my Prezi account was charged to my credit card (April 11th statement) which I discovered when doing my bills at the end of April. I emailed customer support 4/27/24 and they replied that they only issue refunds within 14 days of transaction. I canceled my account well in advance of the renewal date. They erroneously billed me and need to correct that error by refunding me.

PREZI directions for UNsubscribing are impossible to activate because the UNSUBSCRIBE TAB never occurs under the license page. They have me on a recurrent $84 charge that I do not want. When I attempt to delete the account, they warn that it will not, therefore, end my subscription. This is a nightmare watching these $84 debits on my account and being powerless to stop them.

We show that you had two payments charged by us, each in the amount of $84.  The initial charge was made when you first subscribed April 2023, and the second was your renewal payment processed 2 days ago.

We also show that you opened a customer support ticket regarding the renewal fee charged.  For clarity, our terms do state that an automatic renewal will be processed unless you change your billing details on your subscription or provide written notice to us thirty (30) days in advance of the renewal date.  As you raised the support ticket requesting the refund within two days of the charge, we are happy to process the refund.  I contacted our support team this morning that was already in the process of responding to the request you raised on 23 April.  That refund has been confirmed.
We consider this matter closed based on the refund made in response to the customer ticket you opened with us.
    Thank you

I received 2 transactions on my credit card, one from August 1st 2023, the other one from August 4th 2023. The first charge had the booking information charge.prezi.com415-4948313 US, ****** USD I blocked my card and got a new one, which immediately showed another attempt for the same sum. I never signed up for Prezi.com, I do not know how they got my credit card data, let alone data from brand new credit cards I literally had just taken *******************. I want a conplete refund and absolutely no further contact except regarding the resolution of my issue.I read some generic answers of prezi.com not being able to find customer data in their data base. I have three mail adresses and have moved twice in the last years, so a cross check with my name only should yield best results.

On 1/22/2022 we were charged $60 by prezi.com. We have never heard of this company. We tried to contact this company without success. Apparently others have contacted you with a similar complaint. How did they get our credit card number and why are they still scamming people? If the BBB is aware of this problem why has nothing been done about it?

I signed up for a free trial on prezi to complete a school project in 2021. After I was done with the project, and upon receiving an email about my free trial running out, I promptly canceled my subscription. Today, November 30, 2022, I was charged their $60 annual fee after I had already canceled LAST YEAR. At this rate, the company is a scam and once you sign up you're done for.

I ordered a package through *******.com which was fulfilled by Prezi, Inc. Despite the website/tracking saying the package was delivered when in reality, it is not here. I have asked my neighbors if anyone collected the package and nobody has.
