      In July 2025, I made a new Facebook account. Right after I signed up, my account was disabled. I completed Facebooks identity "live selfie" check like they asked, but within an hour, the account was permanently banned. I wasnt given any reason and had no way to appeal or talk to a real person for help.I think this might have happened because of mistaken identity. My father has made several Facebook accounts in the past using my name or names that are very close to mine. He is a registered *** offender, and Facebooks guidelines do not allow *** offenders to use the platform. Some of his accounts have already been banned, but he keeps making new ones. I believe Facebooks system may have confused my new account with his and banned me by mistake.I have nothing to do with his actions and dont think its fair that Im being punished. Im entering college this fall and will be studying Computer Science, and I planned to use Facebook for school communication, joining university-related groups, and connecting with people in my industry. Not having access is already making these things harder for me.Ive reported this issue to the ************************ and the Michigan Attorney General. Im asking **** to please look into this and either reinstate my account or explain why it was banned.

      I am filing a complaint against Meta (Facebook) for failing to remove a post that contains graphic pornographic content including visible penetration, genitalia, ****, and *********** accompanied by an explicit caption and a **** site watermark. The post was shared from a hacked account on July 1, 2025 which tagged users to spread the content.I reported the post through Facebooks system and received a response saying it does not go against our community standards. I then submitted a second review request, and again, Facebook refused to remove the content.This clearly violates Metas own Adult ****** and Sexual Activity policy, which explicitly prohibits visible sexual penetration and ***********. ***** failure to act shows a serious breakdown in content moderation and platform safety.I am asking the BBB to hold Meta accountable and request:1.Immediate removal of the explicit content 2.Internal review of how it passed two moderation checks 3.Action to prevent this kind of failure in the future, especially given the risk to minors on the platform

      My Facebook account has been restricted for no apparent reason. I was being harassed by multiple members within a group channel and when I had reached out to the admin, she said that the channel is unmonitored and had advised me to block them and report the problem to Facebook. I did then report those messages, which one of them got removed. I then noticed that my account has thus be restricted and I cannot message people and people cannot reach me anymore. This is quite upsetting. I have filed two reports and nobody has gotten back to me.

      I have an e-commerce business based in ********** called biigpluto. We specialize in spreading positivity and mental health awareness through clothing. On July 12th our Instagram account got disabled for ****** and child exploitation and weve never engaged in any of that activity. With ****** followers and a big presence in the ********** community stemming through the app this has been a bit of a setback that I would really appreciate some help on. Meta is very hard to get a hold of as there is no contact or support line, and Ive heard horror stories about accounts getting wrongfully deleted. I sent some emails to **** and appealed the decision on the app and have not received a response. I drop new clothes every 2 weeks which serves as my main source of income so I was hoping to get this resolved within the next few days to carry on. Thanks so much, **** from biigpluto

      My Instagram account @Slaine29_ was wrongfully disabled on July 11 around 1:00 AM. Ive had the account since 2015, and I have never violated community guidelines or been suspended.I believe this was the result of false reporting or a mistake by Metas automated systems. I submitted an appeal but havent received a response. Ive also lost access to my Meta/Facebook account, even though Ive done nothing wrong.This account is very important to me, both personally and emotionally, as it helps me stay connected with my family and community.       I am writing to formally request your assistance in resolving a serious and unjust action taken against me by Instagram (********************). On July 13, 2025, my Instagram account (@Faeryness) was abruptly suspended without warning, citing "child exploitation" as the reason. This accusation is entirely false and has caused me significant distress, reputational harm, and disruption to my personal/business activities. To clarify, I have never engaged in, promoted, or condoned any form of child exploitation. Instagram provided no prior warning, evidence, or opportunity to appeal before suspending my account. Despite my repeated attempts to appeal through Instagrams support system, I have received no substantive response or resolution. Given the severity of this false allegation and Instagrams lack of transparency or due process, I believe this constitutes an unfair business practice. Additionally, the wrongful labeling of my account may have broader implications for my online reputation and rights. I respectfully request your offices intervention to, 1) Inquire with Meta (Instagrams parent company) about the basis for this suspension. 2) Demand a transparent review and reinstatement of my account if no legitimate violation exists. 3) For Instagrams automated moderation systems that is wrongfully penalizing users without cause to end.       Company: ********************Product/Service: Instagram Nature of Complaint: Wrongful Suspension of Instagram Account / Lack of Resolution or Support ?Complaint:On July 3, 2025, my Instagram account leaswenson was wrongfully suspended for allegedly violating community guidelines. I can confidently state that I have not posted any content, nor engaged in any behavior, that would breach Instagrams policies. I have carefully reviewed the Community Guidelines and am fully compliant.Immediately after the suspension, I followed Instagrams instructions to appeal the decision. Since then, the account has remained in an indefinite under review status, with no communication or resolution from Instagram. I have submitted multiple appeals through the official channels, including Metas designated appeal forms, and Ive even sent follow-up correspondence via email to escalate the issue. As of today 7/13/25, I have received no meaningful response.Instagram is owned and operated by ********************, a company that provides no effective customer service or support pathway for wrongfully suspended users.       On March 24, 2025, I started paying for **** Verified at $11/month for March and April. In May, I upgraded to the $18/month bundle, which Ive continued paying. My Instagram account @brrunofer was wrongfully disabled on May 18.This service promises priority support for account issues. I opened a ticket on March 25, and was told my case would be reviewed by a specialized team. After a month without a reply, the agent closed my ticket citing delays. I opened a second one and waited another month. When I asked for updates, an agent claimed my account violated guidelines, just to close the case.This was negligent, especially because a new agent later told me the case was still under review. I kept asking for escalation to a supervisor, as three months had passed with no real response. Ive only received copy-pasted replies from agents who clearly arent reading my case.110 days have passed since my account was disabled. I am a minor, and I have reported this situation to legal organizations. Ive been diagnosed with anxiety and depression, and losing access to my account has made things worse, i just want to clarify that the first ticket they were helping me was *************** and the actual one is ****************, so you can track it easier I request the following:-Immediate restoration of my Instagram account @brrunofer.-A final decision by July 18, 2025.-If not restored, provide clear, specific evidence of any alleged violation.I paid for **** Verified expecting proper support.       My WhatsApp Business account associated with phone number *************** was suddenly deactivated without a clear explanation.I suspect it was triggered by a rejected Instagram ad, which referenced a landing page that was functional and compliant with Metas policies. My business is legally registered and I use WhatsApp solely for communicating with clients.The sudden deactivation is harming my operations and **** has not provided any appeal route or resolution, despite multiple attempts to contact support.I am requesting a manual review of the account and a full explanation of the alleged policy violation, as I believe this was a mistake or automated error.
