Whatnot takes $10 from you and puts it on hold for a couple of days. Meanwhile, youve just won an auction on Whatnot and now youre embarrassed in front of the seller even when youve had your card on file with them for three months youre a verified seller they do this weird vetting thing with the $10 and I lost the auction sale, and it was embarrassed in front of the seller and I want to get the heck off of Whatnot. On July 25, 2025, I purchased 20 items through an auction on the Whatnot platform from the seller TwoInStyle, located in ******, **. The total purchase amount was $1,099.97, which I paid via credit card.The sellers profile stated that shipping occurs within one day. However, as of today, I have not received any of the items, and the tracking numbers provided continue to show no shipment activity.Timeline of Events:7/25/25 Purchase completed and payment processed.8/1/25 I contacted the seller after **** tracking (#**************************) showed label created but no package received by ****. The seller replied they would ship immediately.8/2/25 No progress on tracking, so I followed up again.8/4/25 After receiving vague responses from the seller, I contacted Whatnot directly to intervene.8/7/25 Whatnot provided a new tracking number (#**************************), which still shows no movement or evidence that the items were ********** this point, I feel both the seller and the platform have failed to fulfill their obligations, and Whatnots customer service has not addressed the issue effectively.Requested Resolution:I am requesting a full refund of $1,099.97 to my credit card immediately.Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.Sincerely,******* ********Initial Complaint

The seller was doing a 60 spot randomize game. After selling 60 spots only 59 payments had processed. The seller randomized the 59 spots leaving the failed payment. The main prize was not won. Somehow after all basic prizes were won somebody not in the break comes in and buys the spot that had a pending payment and wins the main prize. Anyone in the break would have paid the 165 KNOWING the won a Kilo of Silver. Whatnot has a fairness policy and also the seller compensated the failed payment person and others in the break that were affected by this.Initial Complaint

Whatnot imposed a 2-day suspension claiming that my business violated their terms of service. When pressed for details on violation, answers were extremely vague and vasilating. They alleged that checklist Description in my listings was insufficient according to their guidelines. I stated that my checklists were directly from the manufacturer, in this case Gold Rush. I asked for examples of how they would like the listing presented to be in alignment with their guidelines and got no response.Whatnot locked me out of my account for two days with no way to mail the orders to my customers. I bought what I was told authentic ****** stuffed keychains. They are not real and have so many flaws, from size to color and are oddly shaped. The key factor is that popmart cant identify them via QR code, it keeps coming back invalid. What not has a no tolerance policy on counterfeit items/sales. I was bidding for a Carebear keychain in an auction. I placed my final bid in the last two seconds for maybe around $15 and when I won the auction, it said I paid $2200. In that instant moment or 1 millisecond before me, someone bid $2000 Im assuming in an effort to scam me into paying that much because as soon as I messaged the seller, they immediately said no cancellations. I work on the Whatnot app as a livestreamer, selling sports cards as my business and main source of income. I have now been banned twice without clear explanation or evidence of wrongdoing. Each time, I have tried to contact their support team for answers or a resolution, and I have never been able to speak to a real person or receive a meaningful *********** make matters worse, they are still holding the money I rightfully earned from those banned accounts, without providing any timeline or process for payment. This is my livelihood, and stripping away someones ability to earn income with no warning, no transparency, and no opportunity to resolve the issue is completely unacceptable and unethical business practice.Whatnots complete lack of communication, accountability, and fair process makes them untrustworthy as a platform to do business on. I strongly caution others to think twice before relying on this company for income.
