Issue: parcel returned to the seller, but no refunds.Order ************ Order Date :7/25/2025 Order Amount: ***** For Whatnot: 1. no remind of the parcel would be sent to a point(I have never set up a pick up point.);2.the tracking shows it have 8 days left to pick up in 7/30 1:00pm, but already returned in 8/6 5:pm, i think it would be returned in in 8/7 1:00pm;3. there is no tracking number showed in the app, so when I go to the pick up point in 8/5, the courier refused me for lacking of certifications;4. the parcel sent back to the seller without any damages, but the app won't refund me, i still need to pay for it even if I get nothing!For seller:1. So I was on whatnot looking for AirPod maxes and I found a seller selling them for $200 but the total was $226.48 with shipping and taxes and the seller sent me photos of the headphones connecting to a phone and showing all the features and it had a real serial number so I ordered it but when it arrived it turned out to be fake and it felt very cheap so I took it to ***** and ***** said that it was fake and the serial number on it was a stolen copy of another AirPod max and so I reported it to whatnot like 4 times and they said they needed more photos after I had full evidence that this was fake and I sent them more then 10 photos of it being fake yet they asked for more so I replied to theyre email with more photos but still they arent following theyre counterfeit policy saying that theyll make it right if anythings counterfeit but they havent done a thing and I reported the seller yet they havent done a thing to him and still are letting him sell fake and counterfeit items even though they said they do not allow it.Initial Complaint

I purchased a watch. A smart watch from this company. It arrived and looked fine but when I happened to have my watch in the vicinity of my iPhone, the iPhone suddenly came to life and acted as though I had an Apple Watch and wanted to pair it. Well, I didnt want to do that so I told her no. But then the iPhone continued and said if I didnt want to parrot that I could download a backup of my previous Apple Watch I had a few years ago. That was very surprising to me because again this is not an Apple Watch. It shouldnt have any function that mixes that deeply with my iPhone. Again, I told the phone no. Right after that, another pop-up box appeared, and this one said that my phone had been hacked. That made me nervous to the extent that I picked up the phone and called *****, to find out what the world is going on.They told me that it appeared that I purchased is a counterfeit Apple Watch and probably has software on it that could do damage to both my iPhone, as well as my previous Apple Watch backups if not other devices that I happen to own that are by *****. They took a report and told me I needed to contact the place. I purchased the watch to make them aware of it and to get a refund and return the Counterfeit watch. Ive tried three times to get the seller to respond to my request to return and get a refund of this watch but the company Whatnot (who has a policy of Responding back 24 to 48 hours) has not responded and its been over a month now since the first letter was sent. This isnt the first thing I purchased from them. Other items I purchased Ive been just fine but this specific item they seem not to want to touch although they sold it to me.Initial Complaint

They offer a buyer give away only if you buy like a lottery. I went to bid on a $38 dollar item and the amount jumped to $55 which I didn't want. They refused to cancel.Initial Complaint

I was on Whatnot for the first time and a livestream charged me $435.25 on July 8 2025. I immediately contacted the seller they did not cancel the order they refused , ok , they tell me to reach out to whatnot so i do they cannot help me, ok. so i accept my lose. until the iteam that was sent to me arrived very damaged and not in the described condition which is covered under Whatnot buyers protection policy. following their guidelines i sent in photos of the damage and they agreed to give me a full refund. this is when my emails started to bounce back and i was unable to reply to them. i wasnt able to communicate not via email but i was creating new tickets each time in the app to communicate with them. after trying to get through to them for a while i finally got a return label and send back the iteam. the iteam shows delivered as of August 4th 2024. i wanted to go submit another ticket to confirm i was getting my refund soon but now the app wont even allow me to do that. I have seen bad things about this on Whatnot and im afraid I will not get my refund as promised despite me returning the iteam. I cannot get into contact with them , I need an answer and a refund please.Initial Complaint

According to whatnots policy no purchase is necessary for buyers giveaways and on four occasions Ive won the seller does not send the winnings so Ive reported it to support which each time I bring there policy up about it they do nothing but tell me theres no help they can offer they dont abide by there policy. I HAVE VIDEO TO SEND YOU!I tried to contact whatnot for a high value item reimbursement via buyer protection. I won a $1000-$2300 card from a card break, and the seller did not ship to be. Whatnot claimed I was not convered. I asked why. They didn't explain. I then said I would be filling a complaint with the BBB. They then permanently banned my account. I am in need of assistance over a Card break rip and ship purchase where the seller scammed me and others and did not send purchases. This transaction is covered via Whatnot'@ card break big value reimbursement policy. Order ID: *********. - THIS WAS OPENED LIVE ON STREAM (HAVE VIDEO) The seller even acknowledged on stream, that the card I got on the pack break was incredibly rare and easily worth $700. (It actually sold for around $1900). Seller did not ship packs. No tracking had ever beenupdated, since June 20th, it was not scanned in. Seller has several negative feedback recently from other buyers who he scammed and did not send purchases to, also. I have the video saved of the pack break on the live stream and screen shots of the card as well I can send to prove purchases. I tried generating a link through the item purchase for assistance from Whatnot... I never requested a refund. I input information requesting assistance with High value replacement and upon hitting send, was informed I was issued a refund for my purchase. I do not want a refund. I want the items purchased, or a payment to cover replacement cost of card, per Whatnot policy. Date of Transaction July 26, 2025 Amount Paid $40.29 What the Business Committed to Provide Whatnot Inc. committed to provide a platform with a Buyer Protection Policy that guarantees refunds for items that arrive damaged, not as described, or due to seller error during shipping.Nature of the Dispute I purchased an item through Whatnot that arrived damaged due to improper packaging by the seller. I immediately submitted a refund request, including clear photographic evidence of the damage. I also offered to return the item for a full refund. Whatnot denied my request without valid justification.Despite promoting buyer protection, Whatnot's refusal to issue a refund contradicts their advertised policy. Their conduct forces buyers to absorb the cost of seller negligence, which is both unethical and misleading.Resolution Attempts by the Business Whatnot reviewed my claim and issued a final denial, closing the case with no further resolution or appeal process offered. My offer to return the item was ignored, and no alternative resolution was proposed. Support communications were dismissive and unhelpful.Advertising Details Whatnot prominently advertises its Buyer Protection Policy on its platform and website, claiming to refund customers when items arrive damaged or not as described.
