Ive been playing valorant since 2021. I have bought every battle pass and a ton of skins in the game. Its my favorite hobby. My bank statements say Ive spent around 4.2k on this game. About 2 weeks ago my bf got his account hacked and got hwid banned when trying to log into it. It was a ban 152 and it said third party software. Hes never cheated and never downloaded any time of third party software to change or affect his game play in any way. When I logged into my account it said I needed to enable secure boot. My motherboard was too old to run secure boot enabled in my bios so I would need a new motherboard to run the game. I thought okay Ill go buy one soon. After my bf got banned I logged into my account to make sure mine was good even though I couldnt enable secure boot it would still let me log in like normal but would kick me out of the game after a few minutes. This time however a message popped up saying I was permanently suspended due to third party software and **** banned also. I was completely shocked. Ive never cheated or used any type of third party software. Also keep in mind that my bf and I dont play together at all. I solo que ranked mostly and have only peaked gold 2. In the last two years I have stayed silver/ gold. Im not great at the game and Im okay with it. I just love improving. I am all for riot games having a anti cheat that bans cheaters because that ruins the integrity of the game and its not fun to deal with. But I never expected this to happen to my bf and i.. I have a strong feeling that I am being banned because Im associated with my bfs account in some way or because we have the same ip address. Nothing else makes sense. This is completely unjust and when I reached out to riot support they did nothing to help. They said my ban was correctly placed. I know it was not for a fact because I know what I do. I am filing a complaint against Riot Games for unfair business practices and failure to adhere to transparent and consistent disciplinary policies.On 3/18/2024, I received a six-month ban on my League of Legends account for allegedly playing with a scripter and being boosted. At the time of my ban, Riot Games' documentation stated that the punishment for queueing with a booster was a two-week suspension.However, following my ban, I discovered that Riot Games updated their rules post facto, specifically on 3/21 and 4/21, to reflect the six-month ban now cited in their communication with me. This retroactive change was applied to my account without any prior notice or acknowledgement of the discrepancy. Despite providing clear evidence of the timeline of these changes, Riot Games has refused to address or acknowledge the issue.I have repeatedly contacted Riot Games' support team, providing detailed information about the rule changes and requesting a review of my case. Unfortunately, their responses have been dismissive, stating that it is my responsibility to know the rules, even though the rules were changed after my ban was issued.This has caused significant frustration and feels fundamentally unfair, as I am being punished based on rules that were not in place at the time of the alleged infraction. I am a father trying to get help for my teenage daughter who is a minor using Riot Games ***************** Valorant team permanently suspended our account out of blue, giving mo clear reason or evidence to us. This account has 100s of dollars worth skins and cash loaded, but with no changes in usage on our side they one day blocked us and never shared which third party app was used by the hardware causing the device to be flagged. We have opened support ticket *********, our account and laptop must be flagged incorrectly, were not getting a response from them, after multiple emails and attempts to connect.We need help! In 2022, Riot Games announced a change to one of their in game rewards systems for League of Legends, specifically their player behavior reward system. They decided to reward positive player behavior with a skin, Three Honors Malazhar, as well as changing the system to add new skins in the coming years. They decided to make this reward a one time only reward based on reaching a certain threshold of honor (an in game score mostly masked to the player aside from milestones). The announcement of the method to earn the skin came during the year, however it was not announced that it was a one time only reward until October 28th (with the deadline to qualify being November 14th). In addition to announcing the skin, they announced a rework of their honor reward system was going to be implemented with these new skins replacing the old rewards (cosmetic upgrades known as chromas). I did my research and could not find anything prior to October 28th stating that you had until the end of the 2022 season to qualify. The way Honor points are earned, the 16 day window was not nearly enough for someone to qualify for the skin unless they were already nearly there. Without knowing that the skin was a limited time option throughout the year there was no reason to push for it when it could presumably be earned at any time. When they announced the season exclusivity I pushed to try and get it and missed the **** (as did many others). I contacted Riot Games about it multiple times through their support window, having several employees agree it was not handled well. I was eventually told that support was not the appropriate means to resolve this and that it was up to the development team. I attemped to contact them to find out if they had any plans to rectify giving players such a short notice and never heard back from the company. I have sent the attached letter 3 or 4 times over the last year (not trying to be too pushy but hoping to get some answer on their plan. I did not.Initial Complaint

Riot Games' Vanguard System: A Shift Away from Free-to-Play For over a decade, Ive enjoyed Riot Games offerings, never needing to review them until now. The introduction of the Vanguard anti-cheat system represents a significant shift in their free-to-play model due to new mandatory hardware requirements. Previously, games like League of Legends were accessible to anyone with minimal hardware, but Vanguard necessitates additional components like a TPM 2.0 chip, adding unexpected costs for players.This requirement is concerning because it introduces financial barriers to a previously free-to-play experience. I found myself forced to purchase a TPM 2.0 chip just to continue playing on my Windows 11 system, which had been running smoothly without it. This change contradicts the essence of free-to-play gaming by imposing monetary costs on what was meant to be an accessible platform.Moreover, the system operates continuously in the background, monitoring all software activities on the computer. This could raise significant privacy concerns, especially since if Vanguard shuts down, a full system restart is required to reactivate it. This invasive setup not only impacts system performance but also exposes players to potential security risks.Seeking solutions, I contacted Riots technical support, which disappointingly advised me to downgrade to Windows 10. Hi, I made my Riot account on April 4, 2020 during the Closed Beta and I haven't played VALORANT since 2021. However, I recently became interested in playing again and reinstalled the Riot Client, only to find a permanent suspension placed on my account. The email associated with my account ******************** has been compromised between 2021 and 2024 multiple times, and I believe someone has hacked my account and intentionally compromised it to get it banned. Can you please check the logs of this account and observe if there are any logins from unusual locations or any history of playing VALORANT between 2021 and 2024? I have not installed the Riot Client, nor have I played VALORANT since 2021, so I'm hoping that this ban can be lifted. I am willing to send more proof if needed. Thank you.
