Since management no longer responds to my emails at ***************, I thought I would post a complaint on here. Since moving in September 2022, I have had nothing but issues in my apartment. They fixed things only for it to be a subpar repair. For awhile I had issues with my furnace combusting it self off along with not running, this happened when temps would drop to 15 degrees at night. I put in multiple maintenance requests only to be told your furnace it fine, so thats why I had no heat and kept fighting with the pilot light? They did supposedly send over professional **** people, I am skeptic of the first time since I have no proof anyone was even in my apartment to look at the furnace. The second time I have the **** professional stating to the maintenance man that the pilot light had a problem as well as the thermocouple. This was after being told nothing is wrong with my furnace. I have also put in a maintenance request about the cleanliness of the duct work of the apartment Im living in. Since we are in the colder months, I have had the heat on. I have noticed that I am constantly having headaches, feeling nauseous and developing sinus issues. In the last few months I have spent a few nights at hotel. During these stays I have notice that my symptoms go away. I looked at the air intake for the furnace, its absolutely filthy. I cannot clean it out myself, nor should I have to. The vent is painted shut.I have stated that I do not want any of Renews maintenance people in my apartment as they have gone into rooms they shouldnt have as well as opened a package of mine.******************** needs to be held responsibly for neglecting it's tenants.Initial Complaint

First it started with my family applying for the apartment. Our unit we were promised and applied for was given away. We were told they forgot and that was supposed to be okay within one week of moving. So we had no choice but to move in. The first month our ac unit started leaking. I placed a maintenance order but it took them a couple days to come with a lot of calls from me. I left messages with the on call service and no one ever calls back. I work 12 hour shifts pretty much everyday. So I cannot make it to the office in person to address issues. My carpet was saturated and I fell twice on the floor because of the ac leak that was not addressed. It took a total of 3-4 weeks for the issue to be resolved. My wrist had to be bandaged for a couple days which affected my work. Then everyday there is dog stool in the hallway and outside. Sometimes for days. Also, urine is left in the hallways Im assuming from dogs and not cleaned in a timely matter for bacteria concerns. Nails are all over the parking lot. I have spent over $500 getting new tires that were damaged in the community from the nails. Just recently I found a ***** in my apartment which is a huge concern because my family is asthmatic. I left a message no one ever called me back and maintenance just shows up. ***** in the office never helps with anything and to my understanding she is the manager. She stays in her office and will never address an issue. You only get the receptionist who is very nice but not much she can do. I had a problem in the beginning with paying online which I addressed with the office three times. No one could help me but they expected me to pay on time every month. I had to leave work on the first to go to the bank and get a cashiers check because I could not pay online. The was very inconvenient and bad for my job. I was written you for leaving work but I had to I order to pay on time. I would like to come out if my lease early because of my health concerns with the building.Initial Complaint

I am currently a resident of one of these properties. I submitted my renters insurance and they wont take it. Its the exact same insurance as what I had before. The leasing office told me when I called that the complex was not listed as and interested party on my insurance, which is through Progressive, a very well known insurance company. I called Progressive and then added on as the interested party and the document is still under review. Its been under review for over a week. Its the 2nd now and I need to pay my rent. The leasing office tacked on $30 in fees claiming my insurance was not there even though there was not a lapse in my policy. I havent heard anything back from them regarding this issue and its been ongoing for a couple weeks with no resolution. The office told me once I uploaded the documents the charges will drop off. I also recorded this call and made them aware that I was recording. I dont want them to try to evict me over some nonsense. I just feel like they dont care at all how this affects me and I am a good tenant. I dont cause problems. I shouldnt be treated like this by my own leasing company especially one that owned by a professional athlete. It just seems like no one there really cares or has control of the system they use to offer a real solution.Business Response

I moved into this complex 08/03/22. I have been verbally abused, threatened with physical violence and trespass charges, racially as well as disability discriminated against, my dogs were falsely accused of biting a resident and/or his dog, false claims made to police, stalked and harassed, illegally evicted as well as illegally locked out. The management in the leasing office at ******************** have been extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and disgustingly inappropriate in their dealings with me. ********************* even told me that I was nothing to her and instructed me to get my black a** out of her office before she drug me out of it. I would like a refund of my $1975 refund as I will have to relocate because I fear for the safety of myself and my dogs.Business Response

We applied for an apartment at *********************** in *******. Their leasing agents and their website indicated a specific apartment was available in November. When we were approved, the apartment number was changed. When we inquired as to why, we were told first, because we wanted to move in now and that apartment wasn't ready; then we were told they were trying to get a different building with the same floorplan filled first; finally, we were told it was because renovations near that apartment would keep the power off until March. At worst, it's a bait-and-switch. At best, they have a severe communication issue between management and leasing agents. Since the apartment we wanted was listed as available even though it is not, I have requested a refund of $250 for the application fee.Business Response

We finished our lease with ************* Apartments II in ******* ** on October 15, 2022. We were notified of a charge that the apartment fined for damages and cleaning. We paid the fine on time and in full before the due date on October 29, 2022 [receipt attached]. When we applied for a new apartment in *******, **, we are denied residency until the fine from trinity, the one we paid off, is cleared. We were informed that it's still showing up as balanced owed from this apartment. We attempted to reach out to this apartment to ask them why it's still on our account, but as usual no one answers or gets back to us. They have an answering service that takes down the information to have them get back to us, but that is no help when the apartments don't call back. This has been an issues even for the two years we have lived there. I've emailed, and I have called. My husband has also attempted contact with them on multiple occasions as well but was not successful. We just want to move on from this apartment company but we cannot. It's also basically rendering us homeless because we are being denied our new apartment application due to this issue.Business Response

In the 3 years I have lived here my dishwasher hasn't worked. I continue to contact the office but nothing gets done. Now my stove is broken and I put in 2 work orders and no one has even come to check and see what can be done to fix it. I am tired of the constant put offs. They continue to rate every work order as low priority so it never gets fixed. They continue to close out orders they never even gets look at. The mice and roaches are a serious problem. I continue to spend money on bug spray and mouse traps. I told to file with my insurance to replace infested furniture. This would cause me to pay more for my policy. This is ridiculous.Business Response
