I was sent a mailing with a potential offer to help me pay off debt. When I spoke to the representative, they asked me for my Social Security number, which I provided because I googled that it was a legit business. They gave me some offers and then they transferred me to this person that actually wanted to help me consolidate that since I was not able to make the payments on the loan that they approved me for which was ******.Business Response

Cease and desist. TriPoint Lending must stop sending me unsolicited offers/literature in the mail almost weekly. I do not want to give TriPoint Lending my social security number to have my name removed from the mailing list. This is becoming a case of harassment- especially since I did not reach out to TriPoint Lending for their services.If I continue to receive unsolicited mailings from TriPoint Lending I will seek out a law firm to begin a Class Action Lawsuit.Business Response

I feel like I am being harassed I literally get multiple fake checks a week from this company in solicitation for a loan. It has been for several months and its ridiculous! I continually get mail from them and calls. I have asked several times to be removed from their mailing list and call list. I am sick of getting these calls in the mail every day I would like them to stop bothering me.Business Response

On Friday January 5th, I responded to a letter regarding a personal loan from Tripoint. This company sent me a pre approved check for a personal loan. Over the phone, I was approved after a soft credit inquiry they used a credit score 63 points lower than what is on Experian; however, approved. The loan was presented to me as a debt consolidation program, and they stated that they would be the handlers of my funds. When I questioned why Tripoint will be keeping the money that I was approved for - instead of issuing me the check as stated, the predatory statements began: You dont need to pay your bills on time, you dont need good credit, you will never purchase a house, you dont have any savings - do you? No one will give you that kind of money. The representative states, This is how it works, we will let your bills get behind then settle your accounts for you, saving you money over the years. You will have three years to repay the loan - again they used the word loan, but they keep the cash.Wow.I would like the loan delivered as stated, in my account.Business Response

Firstly, we want to clarify that we do not send "Pre-Approval" notices. All our marketing material states "pre-selected," as shown in your attached photo. If you received a pre-selected notice from us, it means that we believe you may be eligible for a loan based on specific criteria. However, we want to emphasize that all loans are subject to an underwriting process and depend on several factors, such as income, credit, and employment. During harsh market conditions or rising interest rates, some consumers may not qualify for a suitable loan, and in such cases, we may provide other optional third-party solutions. Some of these options work well for our clients, whereas others may not want to proceed, which is completely understandable.
We want to clarify that If a client is approved for a loan with Tripoint, the funds would go directly to them, and they would pay us back.
Regarding the statements you mentioned, we truly apologize for them. We strive to provide great service, and this is not the type of service we want anyone to experience. We will investigate your interaction internally and take corrective measures where necessary.

I keep getting checks from them they have been told to stop sending me them and to stop sending me offers I am not interested in. I view this as a form of harassment by mail.
