5 starsI am very happy with Guardian litigation! They have been up front about the fees and have kept me aware of everything going on with my account. People are surprised at how much they have to pay in order to have them settle. I knew right out front what I was going to be paying them! This is for people who do NOT want to go through Bankruptcy. Could you get the same deals they get through companies they've worked with for years? Doubtful but maybe. For me it's one last thing I have to think about. 1 starI agree with some of these people I think they are a scam. Took them 6 months to settle one account and the other 5 accounts ringing my phone off the hook . I finally closed debt pay and told gruadian Im done. I payed off the one account and all the rest of them by myself ,after talking to my own creditors. I closed this account from GLG almost 4 months ago and there still calling me ,Telling me I owe them **** dollars because they got 1 account down to half what I owed. I dont recommend this group to anyone DO IT YOURSELF CREDTORS LISTENGuardian Litigation Group

Thank you for your response, ****************. We would like to point out some inaccuracies in your review. You failed to mention that the debt we negotiated for you was settled at the exact amount we had estimated and that this was your single largest debt. It did not take us 6 months to settle that debt. In fact, it was settled within 30 days of your engagement of our firm. Your engagement was progressing as scheduled yet you decided to disengage because you did not want to pay our firm the fees we had earned. Our firm charges for its services but we do not charge our clients anything until we show results. If we dont succeed, we dont get paid.Review fromElizabeth M

1 starI thought using Guardian would be a relief. I was drowning in debt and couldnt catch up. Everything started fine. I built my account up to over $1500 for settlement negotiations. After an account that was settled for approx $2600, a DRSP fee for Guardian of $1500, plus several others for the same account, cleared. My account balance was $5600. Guardians fee and the settlement amount almost totaled what I owed. If I had known this before, I wouldve done what they do myself. Im obviously stuck now but have leaned Ku ******* CONTACT YOUR DEBTOR YOURSELF AND WORK OUT YOUR OWN SETTLEMENT. I feel very taken advantage of.Guardian Litigation Group

Thank you for your review and for allowing us the opportunity to provide some context. Within 6 months of your engagement of our firm, we had already settled 66% of your total debt. Although one of your accounts was settled at a higher percentage, another (much larger) account was settled at a much lower percentage. The average of all your settlements is in line with our initial estimates which means we are on track to getting you out of debt within the time frame we originally projected. We would also like to clarify that you are not stuck; you can cancel your Agreement at any time and you would receive a full refund of any unearned fees. Thank you for deciding to stay the course getting out of debt is typically not an easy task but you are already 2/3 of the way there!
