    Six months in and I still feel good about my decision to go with Guardian. I was in a desperate situation with no other way out and they have been professional and helpful. I still have a long way to go but the monthly payment is much less than the previous combined monthly payments to my creditors. And with less sleepless nights.

    Like everyone else who reaches out to Guardian we need temporary help sorting out debt but as I explained before Guardian mislead in what they are able to accomplish for me. In addition I called and canceled the services and in December they withdrew another $585 dollars from my account. When I reached back out to them I was told because I hung up (I did not hang up), they were unable to cancel my program. The same story was repeated to me again ( trying to pressure me into staying in program) about ending program, once again I requested refund an account close. I was told I would be getting, I still to this day have not gotten my funds returned nor did they make a payment towards the debt.************

    Thank you for the opportunity to respond, *******************. On December 1, 2023, you called us and requested account numbers for your creditors. We provided you with that information and confirmed that we had settled your largest *********** for approximately half of its balance immediately after your first deposit. We confirmed (by listening to the recording) that you disconnected that call after we asked you if you had access to your account online. On December 12, 2023, you called us to cancel your agreement but your monthly deposit was already pending with the bank. We initiated your cancelation and Forth Pay sent out the balance of your savings via check two days later, immediately after the pending deposit cleared into your savings account. Your program was progressing exactly as we had estimated, and we do wish that you had decided to stay the course. We are confident that we would have been able to settle your remaining debts just as aggressively as your largest creditor that we did settle. Regardless, we wish you the best of luck in getting debt free!

    Guardian Litigation, is a rip off company, they get you in their program and tell you that they will consolidate all your bill's into one monthly payment. They don't. they were drafting $766,98.00 from my bank account every month. they only got three small account paid off in seven months. i called the person that got me into the program, and asked why was i still getting letters from my creditors, she told me after six months in the program i could apply for a loan to pay off my bills and my payment would continue to be $766,98,00 a month, i applied for the loan, i was denied, i asked why, they told me my total bills were over $35,000 and they could not give me a loan. They told me to wait three months and apply again. the rip off is in three months, my bill's will still be over $35,000. they told me i could pay more money to get my bills to come down. for every account they settle for you, they charge you 27% interest to settle your account, so their plan is to keep you in their program as long as possible to keep getting your money. they tell you to stop paying your bills, and they would pay them. they don't and it make your credit score bad ************

    Hello *****, thanks for posting. We appreciate the opportunity to respond and clarify. You did not hire us to consolidate your debts; we were hired to negotiate and settle your debts for less than the balance owed. We explained this to you verbally and in our agreement. We also went over the negative impact on your credit, verbally and in writing. Our recorded phone calls with you verify that we did not tell you to stop paying your creditors. We informed you that our program is for those who are in financial hardship and unable to pay. We settled 5 of your debts with balances that totaled up to $11,281.78. The percentage you referred to is our earned performance fee, and it is based on the original debt amount as explained verbally and in our agreement. It does not compound or increase like interest does and we do not charge you anything unless we perform. Regarding the debt settlement acceleration loan, as your savings account increases due to additional deposits the loan amount required decreases. This is why the lender asked you to reapply in 3 months. We work with several different lenders and the maximum loan amounts vary. Your debt resolution program was progressing nicely when you decided to cancel. We were on track to get you out of debt in line with our original estimates and we wish you had decided to stay the course with us. Regardless, we respect your decision and wish you the best of luck in getting debt free.
