1 starThis company has the worst customer service but this complaint is primarily because I cancelled this service via email on April 2. This company is tough to get a hold of via phone and their customer service reps are flat out hideous. They called me April 11th and told me they would be mailing me a check for my refund which at this time on April 22nd I have yet to see but the worst thing is they took a payment electronically from me on April 15th after cancelling. I don't quote understand why I pay electronically but have to wait on snail mail and a check from them. Also, I have called multiple times and asked them to let me pay for ***** instead of mail and no is the answer. I have no words for how pitiful this company is and I would highly recommend anyone to not sign up with them.

Hi ******, your cancelation was not processed on 4/2 because we spoke with you on the same day and you indicated a desire to continue. Our staff is readily available via phone from 6a-5p PST and hold times are virtually nonexistent. The administrator of your savings account, Forth Pay, requires refunds be delivered via check due to the increasing prevalence of fraud. 1 starI called to cancel the Guardian Litigation Group today (April 22, 2024). This was the worst experience in my life. I have been in the program for 14 months, paying the required monthly fee. I was asked to pay additional amounts to start negotiations with other creditors. The group was making poor progress in settling my debts. I decided to cancel and leave Guardian Litigation Group and was told I could not cancel the program. I was told I owed $361.71 after my money was withdrawn from my Forth account. I need to satisfy my contingency fee. I have already paid $3,255.00 in contingency fees out of $ 8370.37.I spoke with an account manager named ******. We were on a call for over 1 hour. I was put on hold about ***** times He was telling me why I couldnt cancel the group. He said I want to score 100 on this call. He stated that he would be sending a cancellation request in and maybe it would fall through the cracks. The bottom line is I can not cancel this program until all of the contingency fees are paid. Also, he sent me an email with the Forth Pay refund process. It states any remaining savings account balance with be sent to you within 7 business days after payment of any earned fees.Guardian Litigation Group

Hello ***** and thank you for your post. To clarify, you retained our firm on 3/30/23 to negotiate and settle $41,660 in debt on your behalf. To date, our firm has settled $14,436 of that debt (35% of your total debt) for $6,744 (46.7% of the original balance). We relayed settlement offers on one or more of your remaining unsettled debts and asked if you wanted to add funds to accept those additional settlements. This was not a requirement, and adding the funds would have shortened your originally estimated program term. Your cancelation was processed immediately after you called and we sent you a text message confirming the cancelation. We were making great progress on your case and you do not owe any contingency fees. One of our supervisors will be calling you today to hear more about your experience because we value your feedback. We were on track to get you out of debt in accordance with our original estimate, and we wish that you had decided to stay the course with us.
