1 starGuardian Litigation Group was supposed to help with my credit card debt. I paid over $1100 to my account with them to use for debt settlement payments but I ended up paying almost $900 in fees. And only one payment had been made. This is not help!!!!Guardian Litigation Group

Hi ****, thanks for the opportunity to respond and clarify. Our firm negotiated and settled 2 of your debts for half of the balance owed within 90 days of being retained. Settlement payments were made to both creditors and our contingency fee was earned. Our contingency fee was explained to you verbally and in writing prior to your engagement of our firm, and no fee was paid until settlements had commenced with at least 2 creditors. Unfortunately, you decided to cancel the agreement prior to completion. You were on track to get out of debt exactly in line with our original estimate. Your monthly savings plan already had all fees and costs worked into it and there was no change or deviation from that. Should you change your mind and decide to reinstate your agreement, as many clients do, we would welcome the opportunity to have you back. Whatever you decide to do, we wish you the best in getting debt free.Review fromMary ann L

4 starsI am very happy exception of one crediter who it has been several months and I am getting threatened letters and judgement threats it is listed as a legal but not settled this leaves me nervous other then this one it has been great hopefully it will be resolved soonGuardian Litigation Group

1 starThis service is a COMPLETE RIP OFF and they take more of the money you put in the portal then they do to solve any of the cases. I have tried to cancel the account and every time I call the representatives ask a thousand questions to offset the fact that you are trying to get rid of their services. Out of 7 months they have only settled ONE ACCOUNT and I went in with I think 6 however I had a 680 credit score when I started with them and now due to their services and TERRIBLE advice I am at a 496. I am not going to my bank to stop payments because this company said that after 6 months if you pay on time and I have done such you are able to get a loan and pay everything off and start building again. I havent heard from these people. So now I have to take matters in my own hands and stop payment and try to negoiate with the creditors myself so I can get my life back in order. DO NOT and I REPEAT DO NOT SIGN WITH THIS FIRM. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR FUTURE!Guardian Litigation Group

Hi ******, thank you for taking the time to post. When you retained our firm, we informed you (verbally and in writing) that debt settlement was going to have a negative impact on your credit. You are correct in noting that we settled one of your debts, however, we would like to clarify that the single debt that was settled was 1/3 of your total debt. Having such a large debt settled in such a short period of time utilized your funds. Your program was progressing very well and you were on track to be out of debt exactly in line with our initial estimates. Unfortunately, you disconnected the last three calls before we could provide you with the information you were looking for and we have not been able to reach out since. We are going to have a supervisor contact you today to ensure that you have the documents you need. Whatever you decide to do, we wish you the best of luck in getting debt free.Review fromShyniece H
