  If I could leave negative stars, I would!In March 2021, we engaged Naked based on the verbal assurance from founder REMOVEDthat they would provide access to their investor network. After paying $25,000, we received only basic wireframes, a pro forma, and a pitch deck. Over the following months, our requests for investor meetings were met with consistent excuses. Eventually, Mr. REMOVEDadmitted he had no investors to present and suggested we find our own, though he offered the use of Nakeds facilities for meetings.When we successfully secured a potential investor and attempted to coordinate the use of those facilities, Mr. REMOVEDbecame hostile and non-responsive. This unprofessional conduct directly resulted in the loss of a significant investment opportunity. Further attempts to seek a resolution were unsuccessful, including an incident where law enforcement was unnecessarily involved during a visit to the Naked office.Regarding REMOVED, a verified review detailing these experiences was previously posted. Despite Nakeds initial attempts to claim no business relationship existedwhich was refuted by over 600 pieces of evidenceClutch recently removed the review, stating it no longer meets their guidelines. During a follow-up interview with a representative named REMOVED, I requested that the original review remain public to accurately reflect our experience. It is concerning that a review verified for several years has now been retracted.We believe the conduct of both Naked and REMOVEDwarrants further investigation.

  TL;DR: I paid Naked Development $203,000 to build a mobile app they said would be completed in 5 months. After nearly a year of delays and almost done updates, multiple independent developers and a neutral third-party auditor confirmed the app was completely non-functional and required a full rebuild. My total damages now exceed $500,000. After repeated failed attempts to resolve this privately, I filed a lawsuit (REMOVEDv. Naked Development), now set for REMOVED2022, I hired Naked Development to build a new version of my app. Their reviews and promises suggested they were a top-tier agency. They required full upfront payment, which I paid over six months - nearly everything I had saved from my first year in business. They said delivery by Fall 2022.Instead, the project dragged on with constant reassurances and no real progress. My small internal team had to take over project management and REMOVEDbecause their involvement steadily declined. By mid-2023, outside developers reviewed the code and unanimously concluded it was unstable, non-scalable, and unlaunchable. A neutral third-party audit confirmed the same: the product would crash and needed a full rebuild.Since this experience, I have uncovered 13+ other former clients who describe nearly identical patterns: large upfront payments, long delays, almost done promises, and unusable products. Some of these victims are elderly and lost their life savings. Many cannot afford to pursue legal action.Multiple mediation attempts were agreed to and then canceled by Naked Development. As a result, I filed formal legal action.Based on the financial harm, repeated failures, and the number of other affected clients, I strongly warn consumers to exercise extreme caution before engaging this company.

  Do not trust naked development in REMOVED. We are on a list of 15 other people that have been scammed by these folks. Please do your due diligence when looking for an app development company.
