    I was recently informed by my computer security provider that PeopleWhiz had personal information about me on a database and refused to remove it. I was instructed by PeopleWhiz that in order to remove my personal information I would have to provide a copy of my Drivers license. What is the logic of providing MORE personal information to remove current information. I have no interest in the services offered by this company is and it should be my decision NOT theirs to remove my personal information. I am also shocked that ********** has such *** personal security protection laws.     Like others.....Norton Privacy Monitor identified Peoplewhiz as a data broker website that contained my information. In an attempt to remove my information from this website, I discovered that the opt-out process requires the submission of a photo ID. I am not comfortable providing additional personal information to an entity that I don't want to have any of my information. I have a profile on this website and I want to have this removed.

    Peoplewhiz.com has reported my personal information on their website without my consent. They require reporting my ID in order to remove my information. I am not giving them this information. There's no way this is legal. This site needs to be shutdown. Remove my information immediately or I will take further action.

    I'm requesting the removal of my personal information from the PeopleWhiz website without having to provide a copy of my ID. It's absurd that I'm being requested to provide my ID for removal when PeopleWhiz had no issues procuring and sharing my information without asking for my prior approval. I wish to remove this information for privacy purposes, so there's no way I want to share a copy of and official identification document with an organization that has such little regard for personal privacy. I've had no issues making similar requests to other websites and they were able to process my removal without me providing and ID.

    People Whiz who is a data broker website was identified by my Norton Privacy Monitoring account as containing my personal information. I have been removing my information from other sites with no issues, however, in an attempt to remove my information from this website People Whiz and to opt out, requires more of my personal information by submitting a photo ID. I am not comfortable providing additional personal information to an entity that I don't want to have any of my information. I have made several attempts to remove and opt out this year and all resulted in same results. I have 2 profiles on this website and I want to have both removed and I want to optout of People Whiz collecting and/or selling my personal information.

    Similar to a previous complaint from another person, Norton Privacy Monitor identified Peoplewhiz as a data broker website that contained my information.     Experian identified People Whiz as listing my name, current and previous addresses, and relatives in its database. I went to the website to have this information removed, but the website requested a copy of my photo ID. Although I realize I can redact sensitive information from my ID, I have reason to suspect that someone has already used my information to open an account, and I do not want to share my private information with a data broker I have only just discovered. With other data brokers, I did not have to provide such sensitive information to have my information removed, so I do not understand why I have to take this extra step.
