  It is ludicrous that a data brokerage website that has my personal information for sale, as determined by my privacy monitoring software, is requiring a copy of my driver's license to remove my information that I did not consent to be posted publicly with no other alternative request to remove. Please complete my request to remove my profile and improve your customer service practices.

  I am filing a complaint for peoplewhiz to stop making my personal information available for sale immediately. I attempted to do this through their website, and suspiciously enough they request for me to provide them even more personal information (a copy of my ID) to proceed with this. I am requesting my information is deleted from your database immediately without providing ID.

  I have a Privacy Monitor and it alerted me that Peoplewhiz is a data broker website that contained a profile with my information. I am unsure what this information is being used for and I have attempted to remove my information from this website. However, Peoplewhiz requires the submission of a photo ID, which seem like a further data collection scheme. I am not comfortable uploading my ID with additional personal information to this entity. I have requested and want to have my information removed from this website.

  I am trying to remove my personal information from this site as well as many others but in order to do so they are asking for a drivers license which is just giving them more sensitive information. I do not feel comfortable giving them my drivers license I just want whatever information they have on me to be deleted and not given or sold to the dark web or anyone else.

  I have been attempting to clear unauthorized information posted about me on the internet. Most of the background companies have been willing to remove my information with a simple request, but People Whiz requires I upload or send them a copy of my identification. Furthermore, I will not send any additional information to a company that generates revenue from its sale. As a result, I am lodging this complaint, as that request is, at best, suspect and unnecessary. The screenshot with the **************** and *************************** is both of my records. I want ALL my information permanently removed from People Whiz and any affiliated sites.

  I recently discovered my information for sale on PeopleWhiz.com and submitted a request to remove my information and opt out permanently. I have made this request on similar websites where my information was for sale and the process simple, but PeopleWhiz requested additional information in the form of a copy of my ID.The whole point of opting out is that I do not want this company to have my information, and giving them additional personal information - and a copy of my ID, at that, which contains more information that could be abused - is entirely counterproductive. I see no reason to "verify" someone's ID when they request to remove information because there is surely no nefarious motive for requesting the removal of personal information from a shady website such as this. Asking for that verification, however, is certainly suspicious behavior, particularly when similar companies do not require it. Considering PeopleWhiz has already obtained and shared my information without my permission, I do not wish to hand over additional information to them.
